FFXIV: How to Unlock All Raids [Pre-Endwalker Raids]

All Raids in Final Fantasy XIV are unlocked through questlines to some extent. In this video I go over where to start each of these questlines and other unlocking requirements. When in doubt, be sure to finish the Main Scenario/Story of the same expansion as the raids you wish to unlock.

This is very helpful, I just went through unlocking and grinding all the extremes for mounts since I didn't start playing until the end of shadowbringers and it was a hassle to find everything. So appreciate the guide

I do really miss 14, I need to jump back in before endwalker is out.
Also it's handy to know for anyone new to the game that some raids can slightly change dialog in certain cut scenes, it's not much but still something I really appreciate them doing for those invested in the story.

Something that may not have been mentioned was the unreal raids (Whorl Eater Unreal for example), which are unlocked via the wondrous tales questline, requiring level 80 to access. I am unsure if it has other requirements at this time, apologies.

Yes that's correct! However the Unreal fights are Trials and I'm going to make a separate videos for trials. Thanks for mentioning it either way though as they are really easy to unlock.

Quick Question, example for UCoB, you need to complete Delta scape right? but i've completed deltascape v4 savage. talked to the mistrel but i still don't see the ultimate raid

You can only see it on the Raid finder, not Duty Finder. And I'm not sure if the free trial has access to it either.

Are you saying that we have to complete all those raids in order to keep unlocking the next ones? Thats looks like a complete hassle if you do. Seems like there's easily more than 70 raids..

Each Raid set is essentially independent so you only have to unlock the ones you want to do, then follow the simple questline while clearing the raids in order to unlock the next fights in that specific raid. For example, if you only wanted do the newest raids, all you would have to do is finish Endwalker expansion, then do a short quest to unlock the first raid, then unlock the subsequent ones by completing them in order along with some short quests. Same goes for the other raids per expansion with slight exceptions when it comes to savage and ultimate versions.
