It’s like comparing apples to oranges
John competes at 198 raw no wraps
Derek competes at 242 with wraps which can put a 100lbs on your squat if you know how to use them.

Yeah John placed 4th in the US Open in 2017 as a natty. Wasnt until after that mean at 23, almost nearing 24 when he started sarms he did a cycle of like 10mg a day Ostarine. Super mild. Then he grudated to some other sarms then he started test and now hes on test/var or test and anadrol. Given his progression and that we see he wasn't lying about being natty in retrospect bc his lifts jumped so much, and that he was beating guys on tons of shit while being at anabolic free not counting banned substances like stimulants, it is not unreasonable to believe his addmited doses are legit. Says hes never done more than the compounds I mentioned and hes never taken more than 650mg of gear in total per week. When you hear the arguably best untested powerlifter ever and best of today certainly, is on less than a gram you automatically say bullshit bc most of the other guys are on no less than a gram at the very least. But John being such an outlier its possible just for him. Derek has been presumably on gear since 19 or 20 at doses higher than John has ever taken according to some sources. Not that this is cheating bc obviously its untested but with the whole age equation you have to compare that too. I dont rlly know why we are equating a 198 sleeves guy with a 242 wraps guy tho. Are we gonna equate a 181 male and a 181 female? Srs question its not out of bounds by this logic, you could easily do that with line of reasoning. John is much more of a freak in relative strength and for not taking crazy abusive dosages even at his peak while Derek is my age and been on fat blasts. I question the impulses of people who get on in their very early 20s while their fresh off of solidifying brain growth and pubertal gains. Like you couldnt wait until 23-24 when your much more in the clear for any developmental problems? 30 is way too late to begin blasting though so 23-25 is a good medium. Aye if its ur will to potentially suffer mental health and cognitive functioning impairment just so you can hit a bigger total at 21 more power to u lmao.

DOTS/glp are the only measurements that really matter for powerlifting anyway. Also if you took away the wraps, John Haack would have a higher total in absolute weight too. So this guy is still pretty far off from even being on par with John, let alone stronger. However, the fact that he's only 22 is promising regardless, it'll be exciting to see what he can do in the years to come.

Idk exactly what you’re talking about when you say he’s pretty far off? His squat is superior to John’s by a significant margin and his deadlift is slightly better too. Their totals are damn near identical.
