My teacher told me always pour paint out from the back of the tin never the front, you wouldn't want to lose the label on the tin telling you colour and batch number, information on back can always be retrieved from another similar paint tin!

If you notice the tin of paint is old and the paint is wiped on the back on previous use. No paint is over the front.

@@PaintingandDecorating ah didn't mean you as i know you leave no stone unturned in your pursuit for perfection! Was more a heads up for the newcomers to the game. I met a guy on site last week who put masking tape around tin every time her poured some out so that he wouldn't get no paint on tin at all! Whatever works for you I guess. Ive seen all sorts in my time

I got a tin of dulux satin finish oil based and it's got bits in it, only used it a couple of times. It's got a non drip consistency quite thick I'm wondering if I should thin it, filter it or both.

If you bought it from the shop like this, then you should take it back. Possibly a bad grind on the mixing process. Thanks.

How do you feel crown Trade PbW gloss compares to dulux? Keep the good work going mate with videos.

+Stuart McIntosh Sorry have not used it for the last 5 years. Dulux is that good nothing gets close to it.

+Stuart McIntosh All i can say is the paint is good, they also have a brand called Armestead. Have only used their emulsion but it's very good.

Brilliant. Dude, can you change your account name to something smaller? As for any thing I need I come to you first and writing "painting & decorating" gets tedious!! Thanks for all your uploads!
