Had ACC for over a year now but never bother playong as it was imposaible on a controller, now on a basic G920 I'm loving it. Times dropped from a 1:51 down to a 1:46. After watching this guide dropped times down to 1:43's and consistant 1:44's. Now chasing the 1:42's😁
This was sooo helpful! I really hope that you do this for every track in the game at least for the ones that you are racing during the week. Before or after a stream, a track guide would be helpful for the very very very slow drivers like myself
One of the best tracks in my country. Fantastic to ride, after the Porsche took it over, and resurfaced the whole track, its world class! Very difficult because of the high altitude, but still fun. I do miss old kink section (second last turn before the main straight)
Thank you Jardier for a brilliant Track Guide. I'm new to AAC and from South Africa (so no bias for me lol). Looking forward to using this guide to improve. Won't divulge my time but I had thought my best effort was respectable until I saw yours! Really awesome and thank you again. Can't wait for the weekend to put into practice what you have presented here. Cheers
Me: comes into video to learn something so my slownoobass isnt 5s off every track Jardier: "Use throttle to accelerate" Me: Ah, I see. Ima try that. Good vid man, I am still gonna be bad tho nonetheless. :(
Your set up would have been good to run through as well, if you have a link to this please advise. Question does the type of steering wheel / wheel head / brakes etc make that much difference to the set up you may supply, working the same as in your driving. Like in turn 2 I can do a similar speed to you but it is a case of stabbing the brakes to pull the front around , and not an ideal way to drive, and I can’t find a setting to make this smoother.
Hey there, how did you get KB+mouse to work with this game, I have a controller but it's a little worn out, a bit like the owner... I play ETS2 with KB+mouse and love it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
@@Oluz1975 Sure mate, whats your issue? On ACC controls tab, you can choose "enable mouse steering", i suggest lowering the steering speed to about 0.10 and using the Aston V8 as training
@@NicAlvaradoSimracing Found the setting thanks. Will go and practice and let you know if I have any issues if that's ok? Did you change any of the other settings in that menu?
@@Oluz1975 Nothing on steering settings, just keybinds like gear changes to my side mouse buttons, ignition etc. Also use high traction control, on Aston TC 3 TC2 8 is really fast and stable, any questions let me know
If anyone is (like me) trying to work out distance travelled past a particular trackside landmark used for driving cues like braking and steering etc, at 200kph, each frame of this 30fps video equals about 1.85m travelled (I think). Obviously the value is pro rata for different constant speeds. I don't know how to work out the maths for zones of high braking and acceleration. I found it useful using the [ , ] and [ . ] keys to shift backwards and forwards a frame at a time for identifying the braking points, as you can see the lights come on in a specific frame.
Just perfect as I started to learn Kyalami in my Lexus today and with small adjustments (pressures and camber) I got a 1:44:046 and I stay consistently in 44s and 45s. Curious how much more I can get out with adjusting my lines and braking points
Me either. Now it's easily my favourite track. I've been studying your style for a while now Jardier. I think the difference I've noticed most between your driving style and mine is that you tend to use very little braking, instead you let the car slow down by not accelerating whereas I am onto the brake all the time. Thanks Big J. Really appreciate it.
Kaylami is one of the tracks that console gamers can be faster than pc. Me bmw m6 and my brother McLaren 720s, we are at low 39s and my brother can catch in perfect condition with McLaren 38s high and one time 38.5, but great guide jardier.
As you approach the hairpin at the top of the hill - @05:46 blind corner, stay in the middle - what do you use as a visual aimpoint for over the crest?
Damn it ! I try again and again and again and again and can't go better than low 1:41, some of your turn almost look like it's an arcade game with you, that's crazy. Why you go full throttle everytime you downshift ?
Nice video Jardier. Keep them coming. On these videos can you keep your pip video a bit lower so we can see your breaking/turning points better? Cheers
Děkuji pane za tvůj návod, i když anglicky moc nevládnu a rozumím tak 20%. Kdyby si uvažoval o tom, že bys začal přidávat k videím titulky, velice bych to ocenil . Díky
hey man i bought the gt pack yesterday after seeing this video. ridden on kyalami for the first time. after 1.5 hours of experience I managed to drive a 1: 39.3 in the porsche! Amazing track
"horrible horrible horrible" - still faster than I am lol! hopefully this helps me though, I've been having a hard time finding a good rhythm on this track.
Hopefully you will like another Track guide for ACC! This time super awesome community favorite track - KYALAMI :)
It will be go spa or imolaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
These are great guides. Please keep doing them for ACC tracks!
Jardier: *does a 1.40.6* - "terrible lap"
Me: *1.42.5* - *crying cat with thumbs up meme *
xD

Thanks for the guide! Hard track to learn. The blind left is a killer for me.
Didn’t know about this track before acc but it’s fast flowing elevation changes have made it my favorite track in game
Thank you!
Thanks for this guide. I see where I can find time and improve my flow. Struggling to make valid laps in the Maserati GT4. 1:54 best at the moment.
Until Wednesday best track in the game 😄
The 2nd best I would say, Bathurst is a margin in front of Kyalami for me.
Jardier: does 40.6 - terrible lap
Me: cries in low 41
Shut up haha, im happy with a 42
Next laps:
40.1 - 40.2
Consistent 100%
Me: cries in middle :44
“On this car you can do low 40’s or maybe even high 39’s”
*cries in 42*

Haha, thanks for using my car and name😉
Cant use my name in singleplayer in game but your car is awesome ;)
This is what I needed! Thank you!
"accelerate using the throttle" ahh thank Jards, knew if was forgetting something.
Beautiful. Been waiting for another Jardier lap guide. Thanks!!!

Solid video and explanation as always. These are super helpful
@Jardier, It is a good guide with useful information but it would be great if you could use some markers when discussing the break markers. Thanks!
great vid..I hate that sausage kerb 2nd last corner it's like a magnet lol

Im driving the lambo here and best I could do was 1.41.7?? With 75lt fuel load :(

Cheers for that...👍

You'd be surprised. I was doing your times 3 months ago still. Now my times with 120l of fuel are all 44 and43s. Low fuel i do 42s
I found the Merc to be very good here. Managed a 1.40.2 with it. Great vid as always 👍
wow pretty good with Merc!
Can't believe I wasn't really aware of this track until it appeared in ACC - such a quality circuit :)
I’m struggling at 1:54 in Maserati GT4. This guide shows me where I can find time.

Hi Jadier, is impossible race without line in ACC. Do you have an tips for better race without this line?
Hi jardier. What is for you the best car in the Assetto corsa competizione? Thanks!!!
Is the Ferrari good there ?

As said between two 50m boards :)
Hi Jardier, I have a hearing impairment, could you enable subtitles?
Do you recommend F1 cars around this track?
Use the trottle to accelerate

Why does the tyre marks on the curbs and road show up so well for you? Barely see mine with everything on ultra
