I know you dropped this video because you can't livestream these next few days but actually, you should do this kind of videos (setup guides, track guides) more often. Either way, awesome content as always
So good. I’ve watched this video way too many times. You make it look so easy. It’s one thing knowing the track and applying the knowledge I learnt from you while on the track. Thanks for sharing your mad skills.
Jardier, this is awesome. Thank you! Here's a little feedback from a really slow driver struggling with this track. I drive the Porsche, with Coach Dave Academy's setup. The setup seems to make the car "soft" through the bumps, almost as it floated through the track, which helps a lot. If you are interested, here's my problems (it will be a long list -- so so sorry!): 10:46 - I can't approach this corner on throttle. Car loses the rear. I have to lift-off and then brake. I think it's my driving, because James Parker -- who made the setup -- takes this section just as you. 12:15 - Oh, this little "s". Can't take it flat-out or aggressively on gas. If I don't brake on entry, car will understeer. Again, Parker seems to take the corner just as you, so the problem seems to be... me. I wonder what I'm doing wrong. The following section seems to be almost flat-out until 14:39, where everyone seems to lift-off a bit. Well... through those turns, I don't dare going flat-out. Again, lost the rear on many runs there. The lift-off at 14:39 seems normal -- I think everyone does it, I do it too. 15:38 - Great insight, thanks. I tend to just brake earlier... and hard. Too scared of losing the next corner due to understeer. So, these are some of my main problems. I wonder if they're a matter of bad lines, or slow reaction time to make some of the corners properly (and I really mean actually turning the wheel too slowly or smoothly). My best lap-times are around 2:05. Too slow. Parker did a 2:00.1 IIRC, same car, same setup. Overall, seems obvious that my weakest point is the whole sector 2, but trying to be faster there usually makes me end up with a destroyed car...
It sounds like your trying to enter to quick/trying to be to quick, at 10:46 no one even the pros take that flat, as u finish the straight and the curve is approaching, let off the gas, don’t brake, no one takes that flat so start slow and get used to it then try find them seconds init, touch the gas after you’ve come round the corner, then straighten up and instantly straight braking for the tight turn.
12:15 is only flat if you get it absolutely perfect, nearly everyone will coast a bit through their making it so much easier, as I previously said, try coasting through it, let off the gas for a bit and try take the corner, once you get more comfortable keep trying to lift less, but I ensure you you’ll be their forever trying take it flat!
It sounds like you are steering too harsh through the corners of 12:15 and 14:39 which unsettles the car in those corners and makes you lose control. Try to do it as smoothly as possible so you dont "throw" the car into the corner. I tried to do that too at first but then realized that was everything BUT the way to go. You can see during his hotlaps that he is always easing in the steering at first, making the car lean and only then starts with a few fast corrections when necessary.
I'm an aussie and have been racing Bathurst on multiple games for a few years now since I started "sim racing" and this has helped me lower my average high 2.07's to a low 2.02. Thanks Jardier, glad I subbed from Jimmys channel a few weeks back on the 8hr Laguna Seca race
Great insight thank you so much, of the many Driver/UA-camrs you are the most consistent and the most talkative! Good info and so many things that I would never have thought of myself. That is why you drive so well everywhere in any kind of conditions. Keep up the great work and I hope you are rewarded, you deserve it.
Nice one jardier. Really helpful. Only because you asked how viewers would like to see more of these vids. I think I would have preferred you to talk through the replay of the best lap rather than the slow drive. You could still explain the pitfalls etc but it's just a personal preference
Dude, look how long you were on par with your previous lap, I mean the delta counter on the left top side. The consistency from start/finish through the first corners up to the mountain was amazing!
Thx Jardier, watching you videos got me into ACC. Such a joy to see you drive and have fun. I recently joined AOR (PS5) and this track is the next race. Never drove it but I hope your track guide will help me (doing a 2:08 currently). Keep the content coming mate!
I just wanted to thank you for this video !! You explain so nicely how the track work, I'm driving in Actrolvision PS4 Beginner EU Tour and really scared about this race. I just followed your advice et did a setup with and was so so fun to drive on !!! Really enjoyed and just wanted to thank you again for that and all that your are doing for simracing community
Very new to Sim racing absolutely love it!! Watching your vids has truly been helpful. I still am terribly slow got my lap on th is track down to 2:11 and was elated 😆 but considering i have not done it for 2 weeks I will take it. Thanks again
Jarier, you are so fun to watch man, you remind me of Daniel Riccardo with your great attitude and humor! Great video and hopefully it helps me with mount hell I mean panorama, but could you do this same track with the BMW M6? Its my main ride, luckily the R8 is my back up
I'm still doing 2:04 but I'm not even mad about that, my biggest problem here is consistency. So many bumps, bad kerbs, elevation changes, every corner feels like a death trap. At Forrest's Elbow I hit the wall like 50% of the time on exit. :(
Perfect timing. I've spent a couple of hours lapping Mt Panorama at embarrassingly slow speeds today. Can see a couple of corners on your vid where I should be using a higher gear & carrying way more speed. No idea how you're going flatout through Sulman Pk though - I'm guaranteed to eat some wall if I try
Hi Jardier, Found you through Jimmy Broadbent, nice 8h on Lacuna Seca! As constructive criticism, I would suggest you flip your segments: first do the slow lap with all the corners and talking about them, then do the lap with more speed and talking and finally the hotlap without talking (if you can 😄 ). This way viewers can memorize what you said first, then see the lap with more speed, and finally whole thing coming together with the no-talk hotlap. Thats my two-cents. Great series otherwise! Hope you do this for every track, as I just got my first wheel and are starting out on ACC. Would help immensely! 😄 děkuji!
Awesome. Compared to other guides, you pay attention to details i'd never know about. And still, i'd be wondering, why i end up in a wall, like 2-3 times a lap :P
I love the way you combine your passion for the sport and making it fun for us Jardier. Would love to be in the same race as you are one day. I am working on it and appreciate the work you put in to give us novices tips on track guides. Your my hero. hope that only good things will follow toy till it bores you :-)
I'm giving the V12 a go for 90mins. If not for tirewear i would love to go with the NSX but those airborne moments would kill me with fuel load and tirewear. V12 is much more stable.
I'm having so many issues with the downhill section, the car is so upset at the start of it and I see you break and throttle at the same time....also that alien setup let's you fly everywhere. What are the parameters for the Audi?
Actually as an Aussie, your pronunciation of Bathurst is pretty good. It’s all about the first “Ba” and don’t really pronounce the “h”. BAth-urst!👍 Thanks for a great guide to the best track in the world! Not biased!😉
hi mate didn't know if you could help as I'm on ps4 and game has only just started to allow public lobbies. I've started a league with aor and wondered if there are any other leagues you know of for the ps4
When you explained not to go close to walls where ground has little camber for example at 13:21 does this rule applies to gt4 cars, specifically to bmw gt4 m4?
I can't get below a 2:05 at my quali pace, I have no idea how you are carrying that much speed into the down hill section but I always seem to veer to the right as soon as I enter that down hill part :(
Very instructive video, you should do more. But two points to improve : - I can't get under 2:08:00 ! I guess the improvement to do is on my side ^^' - When showing outside position/breaking point, please also show inside view as inteligent people drive from inside view ;)
What sorcery is this? I found this impossible to repeat, and on low wing? My rear is getting airborn o top hill left hander. Damn you you alien species simracer! ;)
@@JacobWhiteGolf I did and it was great Definitely would do it again but hopefully this time I won't be taken out as many times by backmarkers Still finished 21/47 tho
Awesome track guide ! I did 1'59"9 with some mistakes : ua-cam.com/video/W3FjJF0aYPw/v-deo.html I would like to reach your impressive level one day. Anyway, well done as usual Jardier.
"It is probably easier for me not to talk"

Typical Jardier 😄
He just can’t help sharing the stoke! Seems like such a happy friendly guy.
including accidents from races was awesome idea
Step 1. Don't crash. Step 2. See step 1.

Check out youtube channel "Unleashed Drivers" it has amazing acc track guides very, well done.
Will do Diogo! :)
I’ve been thinking the same. Love when Jardier does these kinds of videos. There not only super helpful, they’re very entertaining. UA-cam gold.
one of the best I've watched , the clips of what happens when you get in wrong are outrageous but so helpful at the same time.
1.59 !? And non-stop talking. Jardier is an alien. Respect

ow and a tip, maybe use the replay next time. You can use f7 i think to show bumps, look from above...

Damn this was a good guide, 3 yerars later and I would love if you did more like this! (you know... between irl races now:)
For the Audi Agressive setup with rear wing at 4 (default is 3) is very stable and fast :)

How do you race at this track? It don't come up when I load the game. . .
what's that thing between the right back light and the pirelli sticker?
