Here is a description of the text:
The text is from a UA-cam video where a technician is troubleshooting and repairing a master temp water heater that is making popping and cracking noises.
The technician starts by removing the side panel to access the manifold. He then disconnects all the sensors and limit switches from the manifold. He uses an impact tool to loosen the sensor connections in case they are seized.
He slides the heating elements back a bit to create some space to remove the manifold. He takes all the screws out of the manifold. The technician shows how to take the manifold apart by gently prying it open with a flathead screwdriver along the seams.
Inside the manifold he finds a ball of calcium built up. He cleans all the calcium out. The thermal regulator and spring assembly look intact. He decides to replace the spring anyway while it's apart.
After reassembling, the heater is still making noises. He takes it apart again and replaces the spring bypass but the noises continue. On the third take apart, he finds one of the tubes inside the manifold is completely sealed with calcium, blocking water flow.
He cleans out the tube, removing the calcium buildup. With the blockage cleared, the heater no longer makes noises. The technician puts the heater fully back together. In closing, he reminds viewers to like and subscribe if they found the video helpful for learning to troubleshoot similar issues.
