I bought HDO's when they first came out. Was a huge investment into a hobby for me, anyway. I've stayed out of the HD completely , as I will not buy into DJI's proprietary system, or anything from DJI, for that matter. All the videos I watched were more like sales ads. Thanks for the straight up goods, no bs approach, much needed.
Great video as always Lee, iam still on anolgue goggles which do the job for me especially I can change out the rx modules for long range. Maybe wait and see as still early days. Keep up the good work.
I think you nailed the main talking points. I have analogue goggles, DJI and Walksnail. The Fatshark fit and finish for me has always been terrible and so it still is. I dislike the googles almost with a passion. Second negative for me is that the Walksnail goggles only perform how I want them too when flying in front. DJI trample all over WS when flying how most of us do everyday. That's to say sometimes behind and to the sides. With these being pretty big handicaps you might be forgiven for thinking I have regrets converting 2 of my Quads and spending £900 in the process. Well, no. My complete lack of respect for DJI and their "Apple" walled garden approach and obsolescence driven business plan will most likely see me slowly convert the rest of the fleet. It's annoying that WS got in bed with Fatshark and not Skyzone and the directional flight thing is there. It is obviously going to be different for most everyone else. You can't please all of the people all of the time. My needs are fairly niche on the grander scheme.

Hi Lee, Great video and review of the HD Walksnail/Fatshark HD googles. I really like how they look. I interested in seeing this in a year and see what upgrades these googles have.
Great intro. A good item of discussion is how adjusting the brightness via the EV setting along with adjusting contrast can really help with dark areas in the video. I find it very compatible with DJI with even better clarity thanks to the individual eye focus adjustment. Thumbs up for durability. Crashed quite a few times already including into my pool. Still works.
Solid review, Thank you Lee. I still don't have an HD system... feel like this is double dutch... not quite sure when the window is to get in. ( I always messed up the jump roping.)

How about a review on the new walk snail VRX coupled with the sky zone 04X goggles? Lots and lots of people out there with analog goggles, dying to try hd, but don't want to fork the money for the more expensive goggles
Still hesitating between HDzero goggles or these. I fly both planes and quadcopters (freestyle)… I liked how hdzero shows the OSD even if image is bad, does walksnail do this? Is the latency on the walksnail too much for freestyle?
I am also analog looking to make the digital jump. With the reduction in price of the DJI v2 down to $430 its making it real hard to decide which system to pick. What do you think about cost to entry of each system? Also the Margarine project is looking great to add features to DJI. I was also thinking about starting with a used pair of goggles but I don't see too many DJI v2 listed used on eBay. What are good sources for used HD equipment?
Thank you for an informative video. I am thinking once more the toys have exceeded my pocketbook ...lol . Sorry to hear that you feel that you are coming to the end of the road with the hobby. Whatever happens, I'll try and show you what's going on and keep you posted.. Happy flying!
I have no option but to stick with analogue. At the current prices it would cost me £2307 to switch over to walk snail. I fly for fun they are literally toys to me (no offence to anyone by this statement just my opinion on my mindset and they way I fly). I couldn't warrant spending that much on a toy (again no offence meant). I totally understand they are so much better visual quality than any analogue system but at over £2k to switch over it's just not a big enough draw. I don't fly fast or far and I don't race and the only time I do "flippy floppy" quad moves is when I crash in full acro with no stabilisation lol. The cost would literally have to halve before I could warrant the expense. Good info and honest review as always. Stay safe Lee.
I REALLY appreciate this. As a fellow Brit, I'd like to see how it copes when set to our legal maximum power output, not just 1W+ . I may love my DJI Mini 2 but DJI FPV seems to keep evolving at a pace that leaves earlier versions behind so, if I make the switch, I want the kit to last a long time, exactly as you were saying.
I totally agree. I'm currently still flying 25 mW analog and would be very interested what to expect when staying within regulation with the current digital systems. There's basically no videos discussing this out there.
make sure youre on legal channels, because thats something that can get you in trouble. transmit power, not at all. due to inverse square law, being somewhere in a field with 1200mW of power is not going to cause any problems for anyone. and without problems, nobody is going to come looking for you. remember that wifi is allowed to transmit up to 1000mW on the same 5ghz band as fpv gear.

Sorry Fatshark, it's been a pleasure but, I just found someone way more attractive and up-to-date. It's been lovely spending time with you, but you became old-tech and boring to be around. After all these years you didn't care much about improving to keep me around, now the competition showed up you decide to wear lipstick?! I know it might hurt, but, you just can't beat the beauty of the feature-loaded DJI's goggles 2. Can you explain the recording settings in walksnail what does the "LOOP" and "RECORD TIME" settings do? And is it for VTX only or for VTX and DVR recording? I did the update for longer record time since I have 32gb in VTX with the new firmware but don't know if it is for VTX only or VTX and DVR?
Hi lee , Thank you for the video. How do the oled screens look vs DJI ? (regarding V2 goggles not the goggles 2 that are Oled) . There are good offer on combos and maybe the quality of the image thanks to the Oled Screens its important ? rather than the Resolution?. Bardwell says that DJI Goggles 2 are very good not because of the resolution but because of the Oled's. Thank you if you can clarify?
Walksnail goggles are 1080p OLED. The HDO2 goggles are the gold standard for analogue and these look better IMHO. I don't have the DJI v2s here.. happy flying!
I have been flying Fatshark HD3 analogue for 5 years and DJI for 2 years. I will be sticking with both these for the time being and in a "horses for courses" way I use the 2 systems for different reasons. DJI for cruising with a lovely picture and analogue for whoops and small hairy flying wings which crash into obstacles LOL
Honest and factual review and points. As I have many analogue quads I will wait to see what HD zero comes out with as I believe the goggles will have a bay for analogue modules.

I run my RC car with analog video and have issues with line of sight reception. I know this is a broad question with lots of variables but would an HD system improve the line of sight issues? Thanks!
Not really, all 'regular' FPV uses 5.8Ghz and it doesn't penetrate obsticles well but does 'bounce' off hard objects. Using high quality, well tuned antennas help get the most from the signal that is there and reject the stuff that has bounced and changed orentation (right hand to left hand etc.). Best of luck!
I think in the summary section you said the most important thing for all of us. We all want to invest in a future proof system which will coop with all important aspects of our hobby. Radio link, video link and great FC software and hardware. We now have elrs, we already have inav, and the last think we miss is HD video which can work with every osd(ardu, inav, pitlab, eagle etc). Another aspect is the range. I like flying aircrafts but i do want to do long range with hd. I would rly like to see an option for higher mw so that i can crank it up and go far like the hack with dji that can hit 1.2W. Lastly i would like to see availability. These days i cant find any dji air units anywhere. Only caddx which have lesser range and i am reluctant to buy. On the other hand i cant get inav osd through and i am thinking of getting WS for that reason. In any way it was a nice video and i hope you will be able to keep up the good work.
@@Painless360 Ofc antennae play a significant role, but for the sake of argument, we can assume that we have the same antennae on all systems. I don't know if there is another factor to be considered here. Anyway I would love to see a video system that will incorporate everything like smart audio, dynamic power output, osd etc that everyone has put money into.
I have a very old "BUDGET" set of analog goggles. I think they are the lowest cost small goggles you can get. I am getting more active in flying again. I am looking to upgrade my goggles. I need a better fit, picture quality and everything new goggles should have. The EV300"O" goggles are on sale for a good price and they would be a whole lot better than I have now. The Skyzone 04X are on sale for a little over $400.00, Fat Shark is $499.00. I see the cost for digital goggles is $600.00. Yet you need antennas, and a new VTx and camera. So there is another $150ish for the camera/VTx setup and $50.00-$100.00 for the antennas. All said and done, digital would be around $750.00-$800.00. As I am shopping, do I jump to digital and leave my smaller collection of analog camera's, Vtx's on the shelf? I have 8 setups in quads, fixed wing and cars. as of today, 11/26/22, there are a few places with combo deals around $750.00US. Where I fly most, it is pretty flat, very few trees. So wide open country. I should be able to get the best possible picture quality where ever I fly. At the time I write this, it is very close to 3 times the cost of the EV300O goggles, It would be about 1 and a 1/2 the cost of the other analog goggles. Is it worth the extra to jump to digital? Will there be more companies coming out with camera's, VTX's? Will prices go down? Get the EV300O's now and in a year get digital? Jump in now and try not to look back? Oh yeah, almost for got to thank you for this and all the other video's you have. You have saved me so many head aches and broken keyboards from beating them against the desk in a fit of rage. Thanks. Buzz.
I'm not doing tests like that on this channel. Lots of others are performing range tests. I'm more interested in how it performs in more typical flight scenarios. Walksnail is capable of flying 30km plus with max power and the right antennas and with OSD and image still viewable without issue. Far further than is legal in a lot of places... Happy flying!
I’m analogue and wanting to “upgrade”. I think I’m going to wait until a solution presents that will also accept my Rapidfire module. I have so many micros, I want to be able to run everything from one set of goggles.
You've been able to do that for quite sometime with the v1 DJI goggles....u just need some cables and an adapter there are many to choose from. As for waiting for an analog rx bay in a new set of digital gogs I hate to say it but it ain't happening.
@@jmcjmc5587 yea it's the same add on side module bay that DJI has had for years....I think what he is looking for is something built in. Either way this is not a new concept.
@@jmcjmc5587 that's right the vertical jitter solution they did add that....I really don't see that as much of selling point tbh sounds more like marketing. I find it hard to believe they found a way to, just now, improve analog enough to care....vertical jitter was never bad enough for me on any analog setup that I thought ever needed fixing If u ask me.
I'm a long-range flyier so, at least for now, flying analog only and no with rush to switch or even add digital to my setup. In any case, I decided that, if I ever do that, it won't be anything DJI just because I don't want to be locked into one company. I like to be able to purchase components from various vendors that work together (ELRS for instance) and DJI makes it's own V2 devices incompatible with V1 (via a software lock so the hardware could do that). I'm not blind to the possibilities that digital brings, but I'll wait for something more open to competition, maybe HD Zero.
It seems such an obvious option to so many of us and with the HDZero goggle having an analogue input. I wonder if there were thoughts about how these goggles would impact the other goggles like the HD02 in the existing FatShark line-up? Maybe.
Hi Lee, thanks for this informative review! I am totally new to the hobby and was wondering if it's at all possible to have a digital FPV like the Walksnail that supports long-range systems such as Crossfire with Diversity modules? Many thanks!
@@Painless360 Many thanks! I have purchased the AR Wing Pro after seeing your review and will start acquiring the additional components to get the plane in the air, but first I need to equip my workshop with the necessary tools/materials. Thanks again!
@@Painless360 Thanks, Lee! I was aware that the AR Wing Pro is for more advanced pilots but to be honest, I've flown off-the-shelf quadcopters mostly for forest surveys so I'm only new to fixed wing and "the model building" hobby. However, I will take my time to build and test this wing as I intend to use it to mount a LIDAR sensor to collect forest data in Equador for my Ph.D. PS. I intend to link you on Patreon soon to pick your brains a little further 🙂
Looks like you have a compact setup for the second monitor. Any details to share on that? I’m looking to build a ground station myself. Ideas for receivers etc are very welcome indeed!
Thank you for this great review. Do you have information or could you test if the walksnail hd system will suppor MSP OSD in case Ardupilot? @@jimmytheriot8978 do you run it with walksnail? my question was if the Walksnail system support the msp osd with ardupilot. I know msp osd work with ardupilot im using it with DJI system on all my planes but i cannot found any documentation on ardupilot wiki about Walksnail & MSP osd support..i found only Mad's tech video..which seems promising and almost answer for my question ua-cam.com/video/mPlaf04D5Z8/v-deo.html
Yes it does. In fact, in the latest firmware you can choose the type of OSD, Ardupilot, Betaflight, INAV and more. No more having to 'detune' an OSD to work with the basic Betaflight MSP implementation that DJI phoned in..
Also I don’t get why no analog or hdmi input. When spending a lot for goggles they might have attracted more analog flyers. Plus can’t hook to computer to run a practice sim.
I saw a new hd zero module i thought a couple of weeks ago . It is already obsolete ? Does this use the battery and plug in switch ? I have attitude v6 never used thought of turning them into hd zero but the comouters and update job sounded too expensive . More than the goggles .
Not at all, there are a number of competing HD systems about at the moment here is a quick overview of the main three: - DJI (excellent performance with longer distances but variable latency makes it not ideal for racing and a very closed system from a vendor that doesn't listen) - HDZero (fixed low latency, perfect fro racing but not as good for flying further away) - Walksnail (same as the DJI in terms of variable latency but a more open, less proprietary and more accessable model from what I can see) Hope that helps.
@@Painless360 I have walksnail and fatshark recon walksnail box goggles . I updated qs to get 700mW and 4 channels . If i play back a video in the goggles it plays in slow motion . Is that the sd card ? It is a 4G no name card .
I wish they would work on a component to plug into anolog to have u go from analog to hd and back with a push of a button- I love my fat sharks and there analog and all my quads are too ,I’m a guy on a budget and HD ain’t on it for along while .
Possibly if it can output the right MSP format for telemetry. It is such a shame that Eagletree closed up shop as they could have optimised it for the system.... Best of luck
Thanks 🙏 perfect format and style. I practice FPV since 4 years and I begin with you and "Jb" you are inside my best 2 FPV channel. But actually I stay sucks 😅 on my analog RapFire and orqa goggle for money issue..... 😎 I think my 💜 shake between avatars and hd zero (for the spirit) 😎 Have fun guys 🙂
Are the goggles suitable for those of us that have to wear prescription glasses ? For me, if these are not suitable, it would be a total 'deal-breaker'.
Anecdotally, I have -6 in one eye and -7 in the other and some astigmatism. I just set them both to -6 and it is comfortable for me. I don't fly long range though.
There are 'Open' systems like OpenHD and now parts of the HDZero system have been released into the Opensource community too.. I've been trying to make a series on OpenHD for about two years!
I don't get on with wearing goggles, so would love to see them bring out a standalone receiver which I can then connect to a screen of my choice. Standalone receivers seem to get overlooked when it comes to HD. Great to see the system supports Ardupilot displays - my preferred o/s. If they brought out a standalone receiver for the system I would not hesitate to move over to HD - something I really want to do, but not being a goggle user pretty much leaves me with analogue.
Walksnail has said they are doing this - but in the meantime, there is HDMI out so you can attach it to your laptop for display or a dedicated display.
I can't, flying beyond LOS here in the UK is not legal. But, If I were able to them higher gain antennas and all of the usual tricks would work here, the same as any other system. See my video on 'flying further'. Walksnail have now swapped the lower two antennas in their SKU to patches and switching from circular polarised to a good patch can extend range over 2.5 times..
What I have against DJI is that it is not developed for hobbyists but for consumers that unfortunately put our hobby in danger by doing stupid things and hence DJI has 'fenced' the system (my personal view and opinion), it is for me the reason not to support DJI. Will Walksnail be and stay fully open? If so this might be the upgrade from analog to digital.
I think that many feel the same way. I've looked for an alternative that is easy to use, works well and provides similar ranges to DJI and so far, so good for this.. Lots more testing needed though..
Another analog hold-out here. The lack of an input for analog receivers is a deal breaker. I'm too invested in analog at this point. I'm badly wanting to invest in a system that does not have "planned obsolescence", but cannot convert my entire fleet - especially the whoops - and don't want to have to haul around multiple pairs of goggles.
I've been on HDZero for the last 6 months or so and tbh I'm disappointed with the quality. The low latency is great, as is the consistent frame rate but the quality isn't much better than analogue so now I'm thinking Walksnail may be a better solution in pretty much every way.
I will be making more videos on Walksnail in the coming months. I am just waiting for the latest firmware to be released with the new INAV OSD fonts and then I can get some decent video shot.. Stay tuned!
Living in Australia where the exchange rate is political BS I'll stick to my analogue and use my mavic pro or phantom 4 for images I'll stick with fatshark and all the kit I own is analogue from fms edf jets to drones

I'd make the jump IF they were capable of a double figure (KMs) range . It seems DJI can push 13kms but I've not seen anymore?
I've seen pilots push HDZero and Walksnail past 30Km... That is far more than most pilots need (or can fly legally ;) )
Honest and factual review and points. As I have many analogue quads I will wait to see what HD zero comes out with as I believe the goggles will have a bay for analogue modules.
Welcome DJI to my FPV world, but be aware that I'm also flirting with HDZero, she really is an eye-catcher too! 😁
The cable which connects the camera to the Vtx is much better than the HDZero flat cable. It looks much less prone to damage and more flexible.
@@Painless360 Great advice! Thank you for the reply!!
6:30 ...well, you're 2 weeks old this video is not obsolete. P360, love the vid,
I think in the summary section you said the most important thing for all of us.
Power isn't the only limiting factor for range. HDZero and Walksnail has been shown to fly over 30km at max power. We'll over twice what DJI can do...
Stay tuned! :D
Thanks.
Buzz.
did you compared the range with 1200mW Caddx and dji goggles V2?
I'm not doing tests like that on this channel. Lots of others are performing range tests. I'm more interested in how it performs in more typical flight scenarios. Walksnail is capable of flying 30km plus with max power and the right antennas and with OSD and image still viewable without issue. Far further than is legal in a lot of places... Happy flying!
Yeah I like my analog for long range it is a shame there is no option to plug analog in looks like I may end up with two sets of goggles
🤩🤩🤩 I think it is slightly better than DJI unit and cheaper also Fatshark HD I loved it
I’m analogue and wanting to “upgrade”.
The new hdzero goggle support analog and upgrade it.
@@jmcjmc5587 yea it's the same add on side module bay that DJI has had for years....I think what he is looking for is something built in. Either way this is not a new concept.
@@JahoosaphethI don't think you will have an hd goggle with an integrated analog bay. At least HDZero will upgrade analog video feed.
If you like longer ranges, HD zero isn't a good choice.. Happy flying
No analog backward compability is killing it for me. Why not build in an analog receiver bay?
It seems such an obvious option to so many of us and with the HDZero goggle having an analogue input. I wonder if there were thoughts about how these goggles would impact the other goggles like the HD02 in the existing FatShark line-up? Maybe.
Thanks! I like all your video's but this one is truly outstanding.
Hi Lee, thanks for this informative review! I am totally new to the hobby and was wondering if it's at all possible to have a digital FPV like the Walksnail that supports long-range systems such as Crossfire with Diversity modules? Many thanks!
It is. Radio control uses 2.4GHz normally and FPV is 5.8GHz...Happy flying. See my RC basics and introduction to FPV videos.. Best of luck
@@Painless360 Many thanks! I have purchased the AR Wing Pro after seeing your review and will start acquiring the additional components to get the plane in the air, but first I need to equip my workshop with the necessary tools/materials. Thanks again!
The AR Wing PRO isn't a model for beginners. Check out my videos on learning to fly... Best of luck!
Also, the AR wing Pro will be used to test the data capture system then I'm looking to mount everything on a larger wing to cope with the payloads.
Love the content! Raw and straight to the point 👉
Looks like you have a compact setup for the second monitor. Any details to share on that? I’m looking to build a ground station myself. Ideas for receivers etc are very welcome indeed!
The screen is from the short lived Fatshark transformer goggles that they made with Hobbyking...
@@Painless360 Thanks for the reply. That looks like a perfect fit for something to look for on the second hand market.
Surprised you didn't choose the Fatshark version.
Black vs white / heat from sun was worth the extra cost in my mind.....
It can be an issue for those in hotter climates but I am in the UK
Thank you for this great review. Do you have information or could you test if the walksnail hd system will suppor MSP OSD in case Ardupilot? I have all my planes and multirotors equipped with DJI system...and im using the msp osd on both..i know wailksnail currently supports BF osd but what about ardupilot?
Thanks for your feedback
MSP OSD is working with ardrupilot, That's what I'm running at the moment
@@jimmytheriot8978 do you run it with walksnail? my question was if the Walksnail system support the msp osd with ardupilot. I know msp osd work with ardupilot im using it with DJI system on all my planes but i cannot found any documentation on ardupilot wiki about Walksnail & MSP osd support..i found only Mad's tech video..which seems promising and almost answer for my question
ua-cam.com/video/mPlaf04D5Z8/v-deo.html
Yes it does. In fact, in the latest firmware you can choose the type of OSD, Ardupilot, Betaflight, INAV and more. No more having to 'detune' an OSD to work with the basic Betaflight MSP implementation that DJI phoned in..
Nice review mate, thanks for sharing.
Also I don’t get why no analog or hdmi input.
When spending a lot for goggles they might have attracted more analog flyers. Plus can’t hook to computer to run a practice sim.
Is it pid or what my eye width center is 76mm will these do that.I have to use box googles I want to use HD Cheer's
54 to 74mm IPD visual range on the goggle..
@@Painless360 Thanks mate
I saw a new hd zero module i thought a couple of weeks ago . It is already obsolete ? Does this use the battery and plug in switch ? I have attitude v6 never used thought of turning them into hd zero but the comouters and update job sounded too expensive . More than the goggles .
Not at all, there are a number of competing HD systems about at the moment here is a quick overview of the main three:
- DJI (excellent performance with longer distances but variable latency makes it not ideal for racing and a very closed system from a vendor that doesn't listen)
- HDZero (fixed low latency, perfect fro racing but not as good for flying further away)
- Walksnail (same as the DJI in terms of variable latency but a more open, less proprietary and more accessable model from what I can see)
Hope that helps.
@@Painless360
I have walksnail and fatshark recon walksnail box goggles . I updated qs to get 700mW and 4 channels .
If i play back a video in the goggles it plays in slow motion . Is that the sd card ? It is a 4G no name card .
I updated with a phone download from caddx and " move to sd card " app . I never updated the mini 1S vtx .
I wish they would work on a component to plug into anolog to have u go from analog to hd and back with a push of a button- I love my fat sharks and there analog and all my quads are too ,I’m a guy on a budget and HD ain’t on it for along while .
Could you comment about latency? Thanks for the video Lee
22ms close in then drops as you increase range. Similar to the DJI system.. Happy flying
hi, do the goggles have the same battery connector as fatsharks?
The look like it!
Just pre-order the VRX
can you please share link for that LCD you use i like it and i need to buy same
ua-cam.com/video/MO6EoDsR6bk/v-deo.html is what it came out of - brilliant screen..
i wish they had a audio jack
I miss HDMI-IN, like my HDOs has. To at least give the option, to buy a HDZero Receiver, or a Siyi HM30, and use it with this Goggles...
will this system work with eagle tree vector
Possibly if it can output the right MSP format for telemetry. It is such a shame that Eagletree closed up shop as they could have optimised it for the system.... Best of luck
Lee - did you see that WS pulled back the 27.x FW? Any idea why?
Walksnail team not back in the office until the 13th so I can't get the an answer.. Happy flying
What cable are you referring to for your external monitor? I've tried several different types to no avail. Do you have an Amazon link for any?
Links added to video description.. I hope that helps.
can some one tell me . . walksnail can use analog? any body aready hack it ?. .
Thanks 🙏 perfect format and style. I practice FPV since 4 years and I begin with you and "Jb" you are inside my best 2 FPV channel. But actually I stay sucks 😅 on my analog RapFire and orqa goggle for money issue..... 😎 I think my 💜 shake between avatars and hd zero (for the spirit) 😎
Have fun guys 🙂
Thank You.......... very informative !!!
I want a long range (several miles), low-latency, UHD, long battery life, and most importantly open-source FPV system. And it needs to be affordable.
Thanks for the video
Are the goggles suitable for those of us that have to wear prescription glasses ? For me, if these are not suitable, it would be a total 'deal-breaker'.
They have adjustable diopters on each side suitable for a wide range of corrections.
Supports +2 to - 6. But stereo goggles can still be an issue for those with astigmatism... Happy flying
Anecdotally, I have -6 in one eye and -7 in the other and some astigmatism. I just set them both to -6 and it is comfortable for me. I don't fly long range though.
Brilliant detail, thanks for sharing!
Do the Goggles fog up quickly?
Not from the testing here. The fan speed is set settable. Only issues I've had is that longer eyelashes can brush the lenses...
@@Painless360 thanks Madstech seems to find it quite a problem with his set
This is why it pays to watch more than one video on a product.. Happy flying
My wish is for something open. Not sure it will happen but betaflight and elrs move things forward in a great way and give us competition
There are 'Open' systems like OpenHD and now parts of the HDZero system have been released into the Opensource community too.. I've been trying to make a series on OpenHD for about two years!
@@Painless360 that is very good to hear!
I wish somebody would show how to set up An airplane with flaps on Inav. Everybody just sits up wings or quad copters
Lots about already - i.e. ua-cam.com/video/qY1TwINNX6c/v-deo.html
What antennas are you using for long range
Honest question - does Lee do long distance?
I can't, flying beyond LOS here in the UK is not legal.
But, If I were able to them higher gain antennas and all of the usual tricks would work here, the same as any other system. See my video on 'flying further'. Walksnail have now swapped the lower two antennas in their SKU to patches and switching from circular polarised to a good patch can extend range over 2.5 times..
@@Painless360 I thought the top right sma was for the long range antenna? Which I did take mine apart and switch it to the bottom antenna
Please can someone on your channel help with box gogles to suite HD video, I recon I will dif., buy that product + Walksnail vtx. Thanks and Cheer's
At the moment I don't have something that I can think of. Lots of things in the works so stay tuned!
Stay tuned!
answer is easy: you have a analog and a digital setup
Living in Australia where the exchange rate is political BS I'll stick to my analogue and use my mavic pro or phantom 4 for images I'll stick with fatshark and all the kit I own is analogue from fms edf jets to drones
i went with the new dji system because there's no power button lol
the stock omni antennas are trash. change into TrueRC and it is a night and day performance. i can say, it out performed my DJI stuffs
Agreed. I've used this same setup on other HD goggles to great effect.... Happy flying
