I would agree with you, but their Engagement Optimized Matchmaking system is designed to rig your matches and manipulate your behavior to keep you playing for longer periods of time, get frustrated at losing and then when the algorithm thinks you're going to stop playing based off of your playing patterns they will set you up for a win by pairing you with above average teammates who are also set up for a win, and putting you against lesser-skilled players who are set up for a loss to make you keep playing the game. EA and the UCLA have written a study on it. They need to take it out of the game, or else their playerbase is going to keep declining.
i like Warzone and do enjoy playing it (with friends), but it does make me rage, and going to any other BR after playing apex feels like crap, same with non BR shooters that aren't titanfall 2 (excepting bf1/bf5)

The boss of respawn entertainment released a statement a few weeks ago that he made sure during the developing process that EA was not going to be involved in the game. So only respawn entertainment is responsible for the excellent quality. Aside from publishing the game, EA had nothing to do with it :)

Another great thing about Apex Legends is that EA had nothing to do with the development of this game (other than them being the publisher). If EA took control over this game, it would get a ton of backlash with them not making it a Free-to-Play game and them adding expensive microtransactions maybe even going as far as doing it like what Star Wars Battlefront II was like what EA normally does.
It would basically be a dead game upon arrival and I'm glad it didn't turn out like that, that it's really refreshing that we get to see a fresh take on the Battle Royale genre unlike Fortnite which kinda got old after the first couple of seasons. I'll definitely try and pick this game up when I get the chance!

Shit game,no STORY,lack of content even after adding dlcs and MICROTRANSACTIONS UP TELHE ASSHOLE. not what consumers wanted. Make Bfv,full of politics,attacking their customers and not polishing the game up past a few small ping issues and bug fixes which DIDN'T FIX HALF THE BUGS. not what consumers want. Mix it in with underwhelming war stories that at every turn subtly (or not so subtly) push a anti white male narrative. The only real good war story in bfv is the DLC GERMAN ONE and even that is sub par. Then there's star wars battlefront 2 which had......serviceable multiplayer,the graphics are well done,the scale is nice and makes you feel part of something bigger,gunplay (or blaster play *Laughs in nerdy punns while wishing for a noose and some alcohol.....woah.....I actually made a suicide joke......I'm original huh?*) is well done but god THE STORY BLOWS,THE JEDI/SITH COMBAT IS BUTTON BASHING INCARNATE,THE BUGS,PING ISSUES AND OVERALL QUALITY MAKES IT NOTHING *BUT* SERVICEABLE. then there's anthem....anthem is just disappointing and underwhelming.
Honesty the best games from EA in the last 5 years have been battlefield 4 (AFTER ALL THE DLCS AND PATCHES IT WAS A NIGHTMARE AT LAUNCH) titanfall 2 (not bad from a technical standpoint and was actually really well optimised and managed. Respawn is a great studio and have a lot of potential) Apex and Battlefield 1 AFTER.....AFTER all the patches and stuff. Bf1 is redeemable because it wasn't shoved full of politics unlike bfv. And Dragon age inquisition which BIOWARE had a lot more reign over. And apex legends.
The more and more EA gets involved the more the overall quality of a game TANKS and we're left with a game that will be better AFTER the polish that should've been there and the smoothest launches of EA games in the last 5 years goes to Titanfall 2,Apex and bf1 and dragon age inquisition. But dragon age is single player so......... sorry THEY DO NOT know what the consumer wants. THIS IS RESPAWNS BABY not EAS
Probably my favorite BR, its so smooth and fun, and doesn't get stale. It sucks that warzone took its place but they both deserve those medals
Gonna say it again, if you've played warzone and Apex then you know they don't play or feel the same at all.
The battle royale genre isn't just copy and paste anymore. The games feel DIFFERENT now.
So I think warzone and Apex shouldn't be competing because they don't give the same type of entertainment

@@Bennieboy918 yeah except objectively, it's harder to camp on apex and id say the ease of respawing as long as you win the fight/avoid the inevitable 3rd party encourages most teams to play the map more-- not to mention the varying levels of armor and attachments which are game changers unlike war zone where you can get armor plates and call it a day.

But I got lucky in Apex and got one of the Wraith skins I wanted. Only 'lootboxes' I've done are CSGO ones, but at least those you have a chance for return.

@@tsucube4377 doesn't fortnite steal like anything they can from another battle royal game and they steal alot and when apex does steal something they only steal like one or two things from a game
Tsucube fortnite takes what’s popular form other games and then steal it for there own, the only reason they are successful still is because they ride the backs of other people making better battle royales and then taking what makes the game unique and fun and then just put it into there game.

STONKS Incorporated I can agree with that and I can see what you mean, but I still feel that sometimes fortnite itself is amazing for the reason that ltm’s make such a difference to the thievery and such with some of the best game modes I have seen in a while. Tilted taxis. Solid gold. That sniper one I can’t remember the name of.
I like the special abilities of the characters. The ability to go full predator on your opponents is really fun for me.
