My best roadside deal was a Hobie 16 with a trailer for $250. It was kind of dirty and I just figured it didn't have any sails so I told the lady okay and hooked it up to my truck. I handed her the money and was about to pull off when she asked, "Don't you want the sails?" I was like, yeah, sure. She brings out a Tequila Sunrise mainsail and jib, still in the plastic, never been put on, and we load them into my truck.
Love it. ❤ The best one is the Big Bayliner. Jorge's boat for the money is a great buy. I've was told that decor and everything that is seen comes with the boat. Love that! Great video. ❤
I bought mt alumacraft 1860 the boat motor and trailer are 2008 model and the motor is a Yamaha 115 2 stroke and it looks brand new even under the cowling ut looks brand new i paid 8 grand for it and it runs like new and the boat doesn't leak a drop of water
Great job with your content. When will you take the GradyWhite out again and give us an update on the skiff you are working on. Cheers 🥂 to your next adventure.
V20 with cabin is my fantasy boat. Does everything I want a boat to do VERY well. Saw a UA-cam Short of a V20 with 225 doing 48 on the GPS with smooth water.
I’ve done a LOT of spearfishing of a v20 center console back in the day. Probably have been in weather we had no business being in also. Boat was a champ! Rides like a much bigger boat. 🌊🛥️🤙
@@perfectfitboating When I was a kid, My Uncle and a family friend each had V20. Hull design in that size is a compromise between speed / efficiency and choppy water ride quality. Wellcraft seems to have hit the mark perfectly with the V20. It's the best "If I could ONLY have ONE boat" type boat I've EVER seen. Only boat I've heard get as much praise for the solid build and ride quality were two V-hulls from Thunderbird. Thunderbird seemed to be focused on tri-hull boats and I HATE tri-hulls but they made the Performer and Formula that were EXCELLENT V-hulls.
I've never found a great deal in any kind of sales lot. The best deals are abandoned looking boats in people's yards or storage lots, knock on the door or leave a note and you might be pleasantly surprised. My most recent score was two boats for $200, they were having an estate sale and I inquired about vehicles. I put about another $1000 into them, used them a few times, and sold them for $11,000.
In the new market, no. They seem to be going up. The lower end center consoles have gone down 10-15% in the last 3 years or so. But then again it depends on where you’re seeing these boats. Dealers in some areas charge more for the same boat than in another area. The used market is going down FAST!🤙🌊🛥️
@@perfectfitboating Yeah I was looking at something used from the semi custom center console. Cape Horn, Sea vee, Contemder. Hoping the prices start coming down
If I’m going used. I’d lean towards trailer and hull only, late model to repower.Maybe consider one with a newer engine. Not touching ANYTHING that I can’t have my mechanic check out for me. I feel like in this economy there’s going to be a ton of newer boat going up for sale for cheap. People went hog wild during Covid and over spent on toys. The piper is calling and if you look around you could get paid for other’s mistakes. The repo man is coming for a lot of folks y’all and you could benefit big time. Just my opinion…..
Bret I’m with you 100% on that. Used is the way to go. And if people can hold out a little longer, that repo man is starting to make his rounds right about now! 🛥️🌊🤙

Theres alot of good deals on facebook market place too, I love the content bro, great job!
Thank you buddy! I’ll be doing a marketplace video soon! 🌊🤙🛥️
Good video. I guess all it takes is a good eye and basic knowledge on how to scope out a good buy. Thanks for the advice.
Thank you Salvatore! I’ll be making a dedicated video on what to look for when buying a used boat and that might be a better video for that! 🛥️🌊🤙
Great video , I love your content 😊
Thank you friend we appreciate you! Thanks for watching! 🛥️🌊🤙
There’s good deals out there, just gotta go find them, great video 👍
Thank you so much! Gotta hunt them down! 🤙🌊🛥️

That’s awesome! Glad you made out with a great rig. 90s-2000s seems to be the best years boats were made.
great video!
@@Agua-Sala thank you so much and thanks for watching brother!🛥️🌊🤙
Thanks would like to see you guys make a run with your Grady to the Bahamas after the storm season before you move on to bigger one
We definitely want to but this year has been one of the worst seasons for boating we’ve ever seen. We definitely want to! 🛥️🌊🤙
Cool deals!

Interesting video

Oh man, soo many boats i wanna see. Wish you couldve looked at the pathfinder 22 for that price! Thats my range and type im lookin for
Me too! Give them a call and see if they can send you some pics! 🤙🌊🛥️
Have I made a good case for a DIY video on re-finishing the topsides?
We actually started to redo the topside. We have a video where we painted the walk around console. We will be doing the rest of the topside soon! 🌊🛥️🤙
I think if anybody buys a boat with a e tech on it must crazy
First boat $15,000 max especially with cheap motor. 2nd boat $8,500 and that's for motor only.
Agreed! That first boat is MASSIVELY overpriced. Second one is slightly more realistic.
Are you seeing a decline in the boat prices for higher end center consoles. I’m hoping these sellers come down to earth on their asking prices

Excuse my ignorance, but how do you buy things that have been repoed?
Usually at auction. Or the bank privately sells them.
funny thing is I just looked at all these boats that he’s looking at to buy
Did you go see the ones in the lot? How were they?
Great deals is a misnomer if not an outright clickbait title. Most of these are over priced and some of them are massively overpriced.
So funny boat with a tohotsu witch is worth nothing
I wouldn't buy nothing from Florida not with all them hurricanes that hits them them boats probably been under water before
That’s quite possible!
