    Just came from your 5:30 timer vid. Your videos have so much information that is presented in a really clean and understandable way. You explaining all your reasoning is definitely a strength that I'd love to see more of.

    VOD reviews are great imo. It's one thing to have tiny snippets of you performing a specific action you just explained (which are the main videos, typically)
    but having an entire laning phase broken down and explained gives a whole new level of insight. I had no clue just how many opportunities could be create just from steady wave manipulation and asking the jg to help dive during a crash.

    problem between this and regular lower elo games is that the feeding team will most likely not want to help like the Sion did, or will be tilted and play even worse. Sometimes I find it better to ignore the team and just look for as much gold in those cases to ensure im strong enough to clean up fights. This means use your team as mest shields and extra dmg. Things really depends. These tips on the video are great if your team is behind but still trying to win or you at least have a player running around with you.

      It helped that the Sion was there for him but hes telling you the basics. He wouldve still have been carrying just due to the fact that he was pushing the advantages he did have getting to the point where he cant ge stopped and then spreading it to his team to carry. Stop lookin for excuses and just absorb the knowledge

    Really good video. I am a toplane main in low masters and find myself learning a ton from this video.
    I also think its a good idea to show only the first 15 min, as they usually decide the game anyway (in SoloQ at least)

    I took away alot of things here. Fundamentally, I knew what to do, but the fine details and execution were way better.
    - Try to let last minion die right as the next wave comes for the slow push --> fast push. Obv you dont need to explain why, as anyone with a brain can think about it (better tempo cuz saves time for crashing next wave, while minimizing ur own minion's deaths).
    - slow pushing is generally better than freezing when you're ahead. Extending your own lead to other lanes is better than denying youre enemy laner (who is already behind, so their not the win con).
    - building on #2, in situations like at 13:30, I would have ran top. Just goes to show how challengers understand what they need to do and how to execute it.

    Love the content and would love to also be thinking about counterplay so we can learn both sides. For example if I’m the Aatrox at 8:10 I’m looking to base after crash and immediately head to dragon with spam pings so we can abuse the 5v4 and tp back top in time to only lose 1 plate

    This taught me something I always knew but didn’t know why it was important. My goal as support was always to win my adc the lane. What I failed was getting my adc out of bot lane as fast as possible so we could carry the rest of my teammates. Usually if we are winning bot and my adc fed I rarely roam because I don’t want to leave my adc just to potentially lose a 2v1 in another lane cause my other teammates are weak. Maybe I should just ping my adc to roam with me and we both go to transfer our lead elsewhere 🤔

    • @davidbonninobach2092
      @davidbonninobach2092 Рік тому

      I'd say it would be different, because if he was low on mana or hp he can't crash the wave alone so I guess what he would need to do is to get help from the Sion or leave the lane frozen and take the bad recall.

      Hi I was the Sion in this game, this was his first video of the series so I already told him he should at least give some context about the game, but I assume he didn't plan the video when playing this game. Also carrying at your own elo is really hard, thats why you should focus on improving so you become the better player so you can get situations like this. But overal try to see the lessons from this video, of where to look how to get a lead and then a way to transfer that lead. Most players do not or are unable to transfer their lead to win the game. Another important aspect not told from his perspective, but most often you will need at least 2 players to carry the game, so always figure out which players to play with and give resources to win the game. I knew from the start that playing around top would be the best play, just look at the video again and see what I am doing. Like from the start I went raptors to start leashless and backed after krugs to get a back to spend gold from the first blood. I could have started top, to start faster, but that would have ment I wasn't pathing top.
      Just try to look past the big gap of elo and learn from the gameplay what you could improve on.

    how do you deal with the classic soloq ego ppl refusing to let you rotate?
    also arent you afraid the taliyah is gonna bring aatrox back into the game?

    • @CoachRogue
      @CoachRogue  Рік тому

      Not at all with mid push I can rotate into top or bot
      And of course it's optimal to let me lane mid but if Taliyah doesn't let me take mid then I'd just go back top, push it out as far as possible and then rotate into mid with a bunch of free time now that tops pushed out!

  • @spidermiddleagedman
    @spidermiddleagedman Рік тому +3

    In iron that taliyah would not have listen to the idea, instead she would give enemy 2 more kills and go afk or start to troll or flame teammates..... jokes aside thank you for your great video.

    See this game isn't that bad, I'm looking for advice when we go from 4-1 after a good invade, too a 11/2 sylas mid who outplayed an akali with a kill (it's not a big advantage at first, but I was holding out till sylas crossed me)

  • @miguelheredia4123
    @miguelheredia4123 Рік тому +1

    General knowledge of the matchup (kled vs aatrox):
    good matchup for kled, even less contested taking ignite.
    taking ignite to secure push and if possible get good trades using the lvl and minion advantage.
    making sure to use this advantage to get a cheater recall and come back with a item and health advantage.
    transform the enemy slow push (after the wave bounces back) into a freeze, having in count that the enemy will outweight your item advantage with their stacked wave.
    if the enemy allows you to trim the wave and get the same lvl as them use the recovered advantage to freeze and slow push into a recall and impact on the map with ult, maybe drake or waste some enemy ults, overall apply presure.
    stall the waves as closest to your turrent as possible by killing the minions under turrent as slow as possible.
    stack the first and second wave close to your turrent, it's not nessesary to do a full slow push, just kill the casters and have the next waves meet on your side of the lane.
    when wave 3 arrives (cannon wave) fast push it and do herald on spawn or anything else.
    use your advantage and herald if possible to destroy your enemy turrent and push the incoming wave.
    once the next waves are meeting close to the tier 2 turrent, use the time you have before those stacked waves get to your turrent to roam over the map, transfering your advantage.
    if you're the strongest member of your team go mid to start working on the turrent but overall to have more access to farm and control over the map.

    8:20 if you want to last hit as slowly as possible you can wait until the tower shot that will kill the minion charges it's attack. When you last hit during the window that the tower shot is in flight, it gives you a lot of extra time for free, might have made the difference in this case but not too sure.
    very good video btw

    Lets be 100% honest here. DISCLAIMER - I'M NOT A HATER I'M JUST BRINGING FACTS
    First of all you don't always match the requirements to be the 1v9 carry, often the enemies do have not braindead people that knows that they need to focus you down, and most likely your team have no idea how to respond to it
    Second of all, eomm is simply ruining PvP games nowdays league included, even if they keep saying that it's not true, but just check every not smurf account, everyone is stuck from 45% winrate to 55% winrate, with an axis that tries to get you as close as possible to 50%
    And, last but not least, game is unbalanced af, and you can carry only if you do manage to have monkeys in the enemy team, so it's litterally just like throwing a d20, and hoping to get 20 as a result 3 times in a row.
    It's just mostly luck based not even skill based, and people still doesn't believe it, even the greates player on league of legend do barely go over the 50% winrate line...
    (I already know that posting something like that in a league community will generate a lot of hate)

    Where's the part of the game where your jungler forces a gank top in a bad situation and dies? Tbh I think this is a video for junglers and midlaners looking to roam rather then for top laners. I find that the biggest issue I have in top games is overzealous support from jg or mid. We appreciate the thought guys, but sometimes you've just gotta let the top laners be top laners

  • @TaIathar
    @TaIathar Рік тому

    I don't think "how to carry a feeding team" video can be done at your normal elo. Players in lower elos (the ones you're trying to teach) have to deal with people like this Draven in one of my recent games who kept complaining all game "game lost. support stole first blood" and refused to sell his Cull because he thought he was still getting the effect... I have never seen a "pro" player win a match where you have basically a T1 clone int'ing and running it down.

  • @PhilipBrownEsq
    @PhilipBrownEsq Рік тому

    REALLY like the style and content of this video!
    The only thing I'm a little disappointed by, is that it was described as "carrying a feeding team".
    a 0 and 2 botlane isnt "feedling", compared to what us poor schlubs see. which is more often 0 and 5 botlane by 10 min :-/ Plus you got MASSIVELY ahead. Your kills balanced things out. At almost no point did the enemy team have significantly more kills than your team.
    THATS what most people need to see how to carry.

      Really good feedback thank you man. The main thing I was trying to capture was my urgency in how I was playing to get enemy tower and to get out of lane as fast as possible once I had the slightest advantage. But for sure with how far ahead I was it really made it on easy mode!

    • @vTheStranger
      @vTheStranger Рік тому

      I think with the way Rogue was playing, there wasn't any way he wouldn't get massively ahead. There truly wasn't a safe spot in the game whatsoever for the Aatrox. Not in lane, not under tower. And the way that lead was created was explained very thoroughly and I believe could be translated to a good amount of games tbh, bc if the Aatrox just stayed out of lane, the same exact thing would have happened, only this time due to a level deficit instead of a gold lead.

  • @calebowen2006
    @calebowen2006 Рік тому

    Haha. 11 minutes with a 0-3 and 0-2 lane. Imagine us poor gold players who consistently got like 4-1 or 4-0 by minute 12 in like 75-80% of our games but have 0-6 and 0-9 mid/bot laners. It doesnt feel like a matter of i can play well and carry, it feels like a matter of my teams turbo int and get the enemy to their 3 or 4 item power spikes by 20 minutes
