Skillcapped: let’s see how he wins this one with easy macro decisions! :D
I like how this guide highlights what you should be doing and how to maintain your gold income. however, its extremely unrealistic to expect people in their respective divisions, to hard stomp their lane and mechanically outplay equally as fed people with better dueling. Also, if a challenger smurf couldnt carry, how would a silver/gold be able too?
These videos are extremely helpful. I understand the ability to carry with a huge farm lead as he has, I just need help consistently getting good cs numbers. The practice tool isn't cutting it.
thats the thing about ADC that's so frustrating, you have to be ahead of everyone else, while your afk walking support leeches your exp and mid-game you make ONE MISTAKE and that's it, game lost
Just play a game with 5 tanks today lol (chogath, malphite, morde and leona bot, nunu) Enemy build 1 force of nature and full tank and my AP can’t do shit lol. Probabaly even Vayne can’t carry that shit.
This is why adc is the hardest role to carry with. Your macro should be close to perfection or else it'll cost you the game. Great job by hector though showing us that this type of games are winnable
I would like to see Hector get out of a situation I found myself in yesterday. I donated a kill by walking straight into their duo right as my wifi cut out and my support followed me. Came back to: Enemy bot lane had 3 kills and 3 plates. They were both level 6. I was level 1 and down 55 cs. Top mid and jungle were down 3 kills to 14. I was able to stall the game for about 20 minutes, but couldn't farm enough to get back in and I was wondering how Hector would approach the LITERAL worst case scenario.
I think that the people who said hector couldn't do it how do i, doesn't use this channel at all. This video show How u can win and control the game as an ADC, and he did. But I find very funny that u mess up one moment with ADC and u are dead and lost but if u mess up with juggernaut or tanks u only run or press cc bottoms and u are fine xdddd.
so what youre telling me is that a challenger player on one of the best 1v9 adcs when ahead was still unable to carry this game in the end. this is what adc mains mean when they say its "impossible" to carry when your whole team is inting. its because you have to play almost perfectly to carry from this position which is simply too difficult to do
Its about being a strong player so you get a good long run average of games. Because no matter what you claim, on average your team will do as well as the enemy team. One good thing to keep in mind is the concept behind the 30/30/40 rule. That rule says that (assuming you are playing within reason) in 30% of your games are impossible win due to your team, in 30% of your games are impossible to lose because of how bad an enemy is, and 40% of your games could be won if you played perfectly. The biggest take away is that you shouldn't spend ANY time at all thinking about the 60% of the games where you didn't matter and instead only think about the games that required you to play well. The obvious problem with that is the fact that you won't know which type of game you are in while you are playing it. So you always should try your best. The 30/30/40 rule makes sense because it explains why smurfs can climb with 60-70% winrates, but it also it explains why smurfs don't have 100% winrate. There will be some games that are just simply not winnable. But that is never the reason why you can't climb.
@@hamsterfromabove8905 It's true that if you consistently play well and keep your mistakes at a minimum you're gonna climb cause your team is gonna change every game. But everyone already knows this. So i really dk what the point is of this video.
@@piperfree4271 because many people say adc is useless cant carry games this video is supposed to refute that but of course it was just an insanely bad match
I wonder if advicing the team can be helpful. Obviously there's nothing valuable in chat most of the time and you regularly prove that we can win with our own skills and knowledge. But sometimes I explain certain concepts to my team and they eventually apply them. Things like pressuring the sidelane, which champion is suited to farm midlane/sidelane, that we can already kill baron with 2-3 champions (because most player are afraid of it), that drakes aren't worth dying, etc.
Yeah same, as a jungler I'll often say "all to drake" or "bot to drake" or remind the perma splitting top laner that we need to prevent the enemy from getting dragon soul
How to climb as an adc in a nutshell; 1-Dodge everything and be challenger mechanics 2-Be untiltable and unbreakable mentality 3-Dont be behind ever and be 12 cs per minute and ultra fed always 4-Have challenger like. Macro and desicions when u are actually a gold trying to climb 5-still Lose
This is the best guides out there i was behind in lane because reasons But i was playing a really good split pusher midlaner (jayce) my team wanted to baron So i went bot and as soon as i saw the enemy team i immediately went ham on there turrets Going from tier 2 to taking inhib in no time i lose my flash but i escape and that inhib was the pressure we needed for the game winning siege since three people came to stop me so we got baron for free Split pushing is either a complete throw or a game winning decision macro over laning boys
How to carry as adc in a game where enemies gigafed: 1. play a mind wrecking 25 mimutes perfectly grabbing every cs you can 2. Enemy realises that the only strong enemy is adc, so they flash ult you as soon as you get into vision ~~3.within that 1 minute respawn time they end the game~~ 4. ??? 5. Win.
I'm not a bot lane player but this was such a good watch, particularly when Timmy's Akali inted. I'm learning Qiyana and I've made that same mistake, using the wrong ability to engage. Ex. Furthest distance I can go is W-E-Flash but sometimes I forget that I should be using flash, and then the enemy manages to get to their tower/allies before I can punish overextension
"carrying your feeding team on adc is easy, all you have to do is be a smurf several levels better than your opponents and out-skill them constantly the entire game". Well thanks skillcapped, great advice.
Pretty much proves the point that carrying as an ADC, even when you are a fed late-game Kai'Sa piloted by HECTOR, is impossible. Imagine playing Jhin or Ashe in this same situation. One mechanical mistake or a single misstep and it's over. It's a truly shitty role to play and completely depends on how well your team does which is a coinflip in low elo.
@@Sergios_Kounelakis Considering that Hector made 1 mistake and lost instantly, the conclusion that OP made isn't far off. When trying to carry as ADC you have to play perfectly, as 1 single wrong move will cost you the game.
@@mrWade101 See I'd agree with all that, except every lane is exactly the same thing in that situation. Doesn't matter what lane you play if you're the only fed/carrying member on your team at that stage of the game 1 mistake and it's game over. On top of that people say he did 1 mistake, when clearly he made 3 in quick succession. 1 got caught in bot, 2 he didn't far sight baron 3 he got caught in the end. If 1 didn't happen the rest wouldn't even have a chance to happen. In conclusion the mistakes hector made are not exclusive to adc and will be punished just as hard in any role or champion you play. The difference between hector and every person that watches skill capped vids and still complains about role/champs etc is that he was willing to learn from his mistakes and stop them from being repeated.
@@ma-cg1il of course it is. A bruiser who is this fed can 1v3 easily and are much better suited for this style of side lane pressure. A bruiser who is this ahead barely needs to micro at all to win a 1v1 as well.
6:15 the fact is all gold or even silver player watch skill capped assasin will always find isolated fed person especially adc for a kill now in gold or silver rank
I love that he played almost perfectly then he makes one single little mistake of not paying attention to sett and get one-shotted While riven/sett/any other bruiser/tank would just laugh at that and turn the fight around he got caught and could do nothing to counter it
THANK YOU This is literally what i need. Everytime im doing well as adc EVERY other lane is fed off their maataa and the game is over because i feel useless. Im still probably droping adc this season but this helped alot thank you
the line between split pushing and inting cos you are too far up the enemy territory is blurry man cos I see my team fighting top side and I decide to just push bot lane cos I'm too far away. All is fine and dandy until some nocturne suddenly ults and kills me 1v1 from out of nowhere when there's a 4v4 happening top side. I would obviously assume he was top side as well since there's a team fight there but he just suddenly jumps at me with his ult which gives him a free kill. What do I do in that situation where the main threat is almost never seen on the map and you can never predict if he's with his team or not, which just leads to you getting jumped while "split pushing" and giving him free gold :/
Huge difference here. He ONLY DID THIS BECAUSE HE'S KAISA. That's it. That's the only reason. Being an ADC that has a high damage 1v1 nuke ability, a psuedo-dash that comes with STEALTH, and a long range blink ultimate that also has a FAT SHIELD behind it....yea, he could do A L O T more here than a Jinx, Kog, or even a Xayah could've done. Don't fucking downplay the champ he's on. Almost no other champ could haveplayed EXACTLY the way he did here.
I will watch the whole match on the site :-) The most value here is the macro lessons in live action, the plan, the fact that he lost is just a plus. That's ok to try things and loose. We shouldn't think that will work 100% of the time and we'll become gods, if we win 51% of the time we'll still climb. The opponents were good but what are the odds to often meet challengers on our way to diamond?
@@archersterling6726 It is impossible to carry games in league actually unlike in Dota. In Dota, even if your team is AFK or Noobs, you can still carry games since Dota don't have objectives like Drakes and Br. In league, not even Faker can carry games with noob players.
Single digit deaths? How cute. I just came off a game where Jax was 8/20, MF was 5/15, zyra was 6/13. Was able to stay at 8/5 for a while, but ended the game at 9/9 because xerath and wu just oneshotted everything, rammus was unkillable also thanks to a 5/6/40 lulu. They dropped like flies and just kept going in to feed the enemy, seemingly in order to destry any chance for a comeback. Tell me, how do you carry that?
Would love to see a video on mid lane CS because right now I’m not sure if I’m supposed to take camps or leave them for ADC or just go split push bot, etc.
This shows how the adc are so nerf, the other lanes can make a lot of mistakes and they can still carry, but with the adcarry, if they just do one single stupid mistake, you just can't carry your inting team. And the worst thing is that if you are 5/0 you can still be killed by a 1/4 assassin, tank or bruiser. I remember a game when I was feed (13/0), I was with my team, then a Zed (3/4, with two or one item I think) came to me and killed me with his combo, my team was around me and I was trying to not be chase by Zed, but we couldn't do anything, that Zed just one shot me, I think that was really unfair, I know that Zed is the adc killer, but COME ON! I got 5 items and he got 2, I think that wasn't normal. In my opinion, the adc are really nerfed and weak. If I'm wrong, well, you can just answer me and tell me what mistake I'm doing
I answered a few of the q’s correct. I don’t understand why you would go to prevent Analí shoving boy instead of slow pushing top with irelia top and have vlad freeze wave bot cuz he’s hard to dive?
Watching his teammates flame and tilt the shit out of each other while the only person on their team doing well stayed completely silent was so frustrating to watch
Would he have won the game if their team had a fed syndra malphite rammus and Ashe who perma grouped mid and could hard engage onto a similar comp where he played kaisa
7:38 i love how they say "easy" and are arguing about who carried the 4 v 3 fight in Chat as if 2 enemy players (including 1 of 3 fed carries) weren't just drawn and killed top
You obviously cannot carry this because in any case , your team will just surrender before you start having any impact on the game , or they will just surrender because they lost their own lane and don t take your potential into consideration .
surrender is needed is there is team gap, if just score bad, you may still win, but if there is team gap and champion counter, ff is needed, also if jg doesn't do dragon, ff is needed.
playing adc is like your playing lol on hard mode and this video was made 2 years ago now its even worse in patch 13.5 with every fucking line is buffed and bot line getting nerfed because hi it makes perfect sense

10:51 "Hector was just being stupid and greedy"
Harsh words on poor Hector....
It's a mix of delight and nostalgic sadness looking at a game without the new items or the changes
These videos are extremely helpful. I understand the ability to carry with a huge farm lead as he has, I just need help consistently getting good cs numbers. The practice tool isn't cutting it.
I want to see him carry a game as a Shaco Mid
no
Because he can't
@@austinrichard1473 we are talking about hector think again i would say
No no, let's make this fair-- Braum mid
@@kaminari1927 no fairer yuumi
now i wanna see him do it again in s11
thats the thing about ADC that's so frustrating, you have to be ahead of everyone else, while your afk walking support leeches your exp and mid-game you make ONE MISTAKE and that's it, game lost
ADC in S11 OMEGALUL
I like how everyone was going crazy about ADCs being broken in S11 before S11 came, then NOW
@@cernos7230 and tanks were totally titled the looses but have now the highest wr with nunu malph and ornn
YUP
On the bright side, I've seen some ADCs solo kill assassins and bruisers way more often in S11 (e.g. Guinsoo's Kog'Maw, Lethality Jhin)
Came back to:
Enemy bot lane had 3 kills and 3 plates.
@@piperfree4271 because many people say adc is useless cant carry games this video is supposed to refute that but of course it was just an insanely bad match
not almost, you have to play perfectly and not make a single mistake, which is impossible for a normal player.
Just what I was looking for! Even better that it's kai'sa, who I am trying to figure out for the preseason.
I'm so happy. Finally some content for adc mains, and by hector, and he is teaching how to carry!
"pls stop"
"no?"
had me laughing for minutes
“He was just being stupid and greedy” woah there calm down 😂
"With that mental breakdown, let's wrap this up."
Even at high elo, that's the standard ADC experience.
How to climb as an adc in a nutshell;
1-Dodge everything and be challenger mechanics
2-Be untiltable and unbreakable mentality
3-Dont be behind ever and be 12 cs per minute and ultra fed always
4-Have challenger like. Macro and desicions when u are actually a gold trying to climb
5-still Lose
This is the best guides out there
i was behind in lane because reasons
But i was playing a really good split pusher midlaner (jayce) my team wanted to baron
So i went bot and as soon as i saw the enemy team i immediately went ham on there turrets
Going from tier 2 to taking inhib in no time i lose my flash but i escape and that inhib was the pressure we needed for the game winning siege since three people came to stop me so we got baron for free
Split pushing is either a complete throw or a game winning decision
macro over laning boys
How to carry as adc in a game where enemies gigafed:
1. play a mind wrecking 25 mimutes perfectly grabbing every cs you can
2. Enemy realises that the only strong enemy is adc, so they flash ult you as soon as you get into vision
~~3.within that 1 minute respawn time they end the game~~
4. ???
5. Win.
I'm not a bot lane player but this was such a good watch, particularly when Timmy's Akali inted. I'm learning Qiyana and I've made that same mistake, using the wrong ability to engage. Ex. Furthest distance I can go is W-E-Flash but sometimes I forget that I should be using flash, and then the enemy manages to get to their tower/allies before I can punish overextension
if a challenger player loses an adc game off of 2 mistakes how am i supposed to win
but seriously...
This is a bad representation of the game.
Don't tilt, try your best and you will climb :D
become Asian.
Did anyone else JUST notice that gold has the League of Legends logo on it? I can't be the only one right :')
What do u mean
What?
Gold as in the in-game currency gold. Not the rank/ranked shield
He won a game with max mouse sensitivity. He won a game where he inted 5 times. He won a game as Yuumi top. He couldn't carry a team as ADC.
If this is your conclusion after watching this video then you should stop watching them altogether ...
Do you think it's easier to carry as a bruiser in this situation? You literally have to jumb in the middle of the enemy team to do any damage
6:15 the fact is all gold or even silver player watch skill capped
assasin will always find isolated fed person especially adc for a kill now in gold or silver rank
Give Hector a raise! Sending him out to PTSD worthy games in the name of creating content! #RaiseForHector2020
I love that he played almost perfectly then he makes one single little mistake of not paying attention to sett and get one-shotted
While riven/sett/any other bruiser/tank would just laugh at that and turn the fight around he got caught and could do nothing to counter it
THANK YOU This is literally what i need. Everytime im doing well as adc EVERY other lane is fed off their maataa and the game is over because i feel useless. Im still probably droping adc this season but this helped alot thank you
He loses but it gets to be a video anyway because it still has a high teaching/learning value. Love it
7:13 thats the first time I have heard something like that from you guys
XD
lol
the line between split pushing and inting cos you are too far up the enemy territory is blurry man cos I see my team fighting top side and I decide to just push bot lane cos I'm too far away.
I will watch the whole match on the site :-)
The most value here is the macro lessons in live action, the plan, the fact that he lost is just a plus. That's ok to try things and loose.
We shouldn't think that will work 100% of the time and we'll become gods, if we win 51% of the time we'll still climb.
The opponents were good but what are the odds to often meet challengers on our way to diamond?
Video even helped my Yorick gameplay thx
Bruhhhh, I feel hector on a emotional level, had the same thing happen to me as Tristana and lost it when I was cought out by a giga fed yasuo
I love basic guides (no flashy tricks, etc) like this a lot. Fundamentals is something I really need ingrained.
Finished it: Great video, would love to see more.
yo one of the great content so far more like this 👌👌
My new favorite channel
What do we do when our entire team clears all the waves in all the lanes (including supports)? I just can't find anything to farm.
Me when the enemy assassin just one shots my ass and I literally couldn’t do anything about it.
so to carry games i have to be challenger skill level, never misplay and have perfect mechanics or it's my fault I lost. Okay got it.
yes or youll be gold stuck :) matchmaking is rigged disguting but whatever :)))
Guy lost anyway, so not even with that...
@@archersterling6726 It is impossible to carry games in league actually unlike in Dota. In Dota, even if your team is AFK or Noobs, you can still carry games since Dota don't have objectives like Drakes and Br. In league, not even Faker can carry games with noob players.
Please make a video on how to properly set up dives! Clash is back and it’d be really helpful in a coordinated setting.
Seeing hector get snuck up on by sett while looking at the map made me happy
Single digit deaths? How cute. I just came off a game where Jax was 8/20, MF was 5/15, zyra was 6/13. Was able to stay at 8/5 for a while, but ended the game at 9/9 because xerath and wu just oneshotted everything, rammus was unkillable also thanks to a 5/6/40 lulu. They dropped like flies and just kept going in to feed the enemy, seemingly in order to destry any chance for a comeback. Tell me, how do you carry that?
Would love to see a video on mid lane CS because right now I’m not sure if I’m supposed to take camps or leave them for ADC or just go split push bot, etc.
in our next challenge, hector will do the laundry while doing squats. as you can see, enemy team can't squat, so he should outfarm them
This guide was so good omfg
Haven't seen this episode yet, already know it's 🔝
Thanks for posting when the season ended! I shall try it... next year
Dont play adc thats what this video just said.. It literally says you have to be a professional adc to have the mechanics to carry an unranked game.
I answered a few of the q’s correct. I don’t understand why you would go to prevent Analí shoving boy instead of slow pushing top with irelia top and have vlad freeze wave bot cuz he’s hard to dive?
Watching his teammates flame and tilt the shit out of each other while the only person on their team doing well stayed completely silent was so frustrating to watch
happens a lot and that's why the community is shit
Would he have won the game if their team had a fed syndra malphite rammus and Ashe who perma grouped mid and could hard engage onto a similar comp where he played kaisa
7:38 i love how they say "easy" and are arguing about who carried the 4 v 3 fight in Chat as if 2 enemy players (including 1 of 3 fed carries) weren't just drawn and killed top
This is such a good video
Yet sad..
I must say the best thing he teaches me this match is having a good mental
Thank you.
Prob my favorite league video ngl
You obviously cannot carry this because in any case , your team will just surrender before you start having any impact on the game , or they will just surrender because they lost their own lane and don t take your potential into consideration .
This happens so often on my adc smurf, I know I can carry but they just FF 4 to 1....
surrender is needed is there is team gap, if just score bad, you may still win, but if there is team gap and champion counter, ff is needed, also if jg doesn't do dragon, ff is needed.
playing adc is like your playing lol on hard mode and this video was made 2 years ago now its even worse in patch 13.5 with every fucking line is buffed and bot line getting nerfed because hi it makes perfect sense
Real reason of winning: enemy picked SONA and build a tear
Even Hector couldn't carry as an ADC. That's why I gave up on trying and switched to mid/top instead
Great video! Shows that you cans still 1v9 and prolonged the game so much that your team can comeback and get their items. Resulting for higher chance of winning. As the most valuable player in the team by far. If he dies/missplay its donzo. If Hector is alive he wins, if he dies he loses. Other than that Hector gameplay was kinda perfect and clean! Felt he was scripting lol how he played vs akali and sona top, dodging and aswell varus w predict. The guy got good mechanics and micro! As expected form a challenger player. Thanks to reasure me and others that ARAM is not the way to go always xD. Esp when your team/whole team is behind.. The best you can do is what is perfectly displayed. Make every second matter. Take camps/minions make yourself a powerhouse! Give yourself and teamates a favourable situations ending up making enemy doing mistakes and you getting more profit. In end making the chance of winning from 20 to 70 like at inhib at top for example. i will now imrpove my macro, micro and gold echonomy as best possible. Feel like you guys are the best Lol guide. Thank you Skilled Cappped!
Hector didn't do shit. If he was playing any other role he would just be running around the map killing whoever he wants whenever he wants from 3 minutes on.
0:36 and already this guide failed me by not taking into account my Thresh would get hit by every single Morgana Q at level 1 and beyond, resulting in a clean 3/0 for the enemy Xayah. There’s always next game!
Today is CLASH day, i'm going to play mid and i was expecting the mid or top itemization... You did the itemization for adc, support, jungle in sequence...
even if hector says his mechanics are poor in this video you have doesn't mean he's playing like a silver 2 player, he's still far better. i would have never been able to kill akali and sona like that. great video as every other but i think you are missing something sometimes. instead i never miss any of your videos!
8:00 what happen for him to say he didn’t pay attention?
I tried to shove waves out but they're all like flaming me to group up
same here they are dying and ping me saying im useless :)
can you carry as adc, when your team feeds and you have that sona from the vid as support?
good guide and what do i do if support follows me everywhere like a dog and i cant get a level Lead?
Just had probably the most tilting game of my life. 10-2-4, 330 CS 36min game. Played the map, pushed sidelanes, and rotated for every neutral objective that my jungler was in position to contest... The mid Zed was screaming at me in the chat the whole game, while going 4-16-8. He and the Riven top were both level 14 when the game ended (36min) Fucking kill me.
just started playing ranked again and exact same thing happened to me for 10 games straight
Yesterday i had a game on caitlyn with 10/0 and more Cs than i usually have. So nice when a fed kha zix fails to oneshot you everytime😍
Every other time i hated my life in those situations
i was stuck in diamond but now i can finally climb again, thank you very much
Any tips, when my midlane is open, pushed to the inhibitor on min. 16? How can I comeback from that type of match?
Hello, I am requesting replays of challenger smurfs on every role, when their team is feeding.
