So IMDB indicates that the show is over by displaying an end year, but when I go to the 'Is my show cancelled' site, it indicates it is still alive, "on air".
So which is it, has the show been cancelled, or is there more to come?

Especially with season 3, The Orville has proven itself as a capable show. I hope to see it return :) I want to see Lysella become an Ensign xD
With how long it’s been out of production it’s highly unlikely we’ll get a season 4 even as much as a fan I am of the series if we get any new content it would probably be in the form of a movie like season 4 or the mandalorian will be or the wrap up movie firefly got with serenity

looking forward to Season 4 ... I love the series dynamic .. the writing .. the visual .. I hoped that between John and Talla could work but .. just saying
The Orville is a fantastic show but the seasons are too short, getting actors together and sets built takes time and money and the short seasons make the show hard to justify financially getting commitment from the actors. If this show were to come back Seth really ought to bring in other writers to help extend the season and not try and do it all on his own, I think if he did that there would more buy in from studios.

This show is such high quality in the writing and production values, but I want to point out that the people, the actors, make these characters so real. I actually care and sometimes aggravated and angry at some of them and I cannot believe how close I can feel to them. I am ust coming to the end of New Horizons now and feel that melancholy creeping in about finishing such a great story. I hope there is more to come.

I went to work, everyday during ‘Covid’, working on a construction site… no one got sick or died… there were hundreds of us, I am always more fearful of catching wells decease than catching a cold.
And another good show trapped behind the Disney paywall.
