I live on a lake in International falls, Minnesota. The weather has been odd, when I first moved up here on the Canadian border, the lake would be frozen, and we would have feet of snow by mid to late November. Now we don't get the snow we used to, and the cold is not nearly as bad. It would stay below freezing from mid November to late February, I remember -50 one time, without the windchill!
Happy New Year Max! Love your channel you are my favorite weather person. With Ryan being my second. You're channel is streaming much more than Ryan's. But I love him too. Have a blessed and happy New Year ❤
Max, you are close to a million subs. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Max. Your forecast lines up with local meteorologist. Western NC may experience some light rain with cold temps but the ice & snow will be north in VA. A blessing for the ppl there. Our new governor is making it a priority to take care of the displaced there. Thank you everyone for all your thoughts & prayers for these poor souls trying to survive. ❤❤🙏🙏
I was super encouraged during his announcement yesterday up here. Prioritizing getting people in sufficient shelter on their own properties/neighborhoods is super important!
I will admit that I hadn't even thought about the fact that emergency vehicles can't go on the temporary bridges and grades.
I like how Gov Stein is getting started! :)
I will believe it when i see it.. everytime we were suppose to see a major snow event the last few years with "10 to 20 inches of snow.. even in the most extreme areas we maybe got a few inches across the mid midwest.
The last time my local meteorologists were right on with their forecast, was Jan 13th 1998...they called for 1-3" & we got 2 1/2" 👍 since then, pretty much the opposite of what they predict
@@andybales7318 hahaha exactly. And the youtube ones are terrible too to be honest because its wind,, it blows all over the place. Good luck predicting that!
Thank you, Max.,
Michigan remains untouched. Score!
A "ton" of snow? I don't see much forecast for the Wash D.C. area. It always misses us! And when it does come it's NEVER on a weekend.
Good morning from Northern Michigan, Max! This forecast is pure insanity!
Thank you Max for keeping us all up to date so we can prepare ❤
Good morning y’all from Kentucky. Not looking forward to seeing the winner storm coming.
Moe'ning Y'all from Twin Cities, MN
Hi Neighbor!!
Vernacular lol
🙏
Close to central city Kentucky here. Prayers go out to everyone. May Max be wrong for once (ha), and we all have 70-degree weather all next week. Seriously, everyone be safe. Peace. 😊
Max Max he's our man if he cant do it no one can!!
I live in Maryland and they try to scare us, but I am old enough to realize the most snowfall we get is from a southern weather front when we tap into gulf moisture, we rarely get more than 7 inches on a west to east moving snowstormm
Hope everyone stays safe with the winter weather. On the other side though living in the upper Midwest and not even seeing a snow flake from this feels like a big slap in the face.
Bus, I mean max, can you just once say “ that’s today’s weather and beyond”. We love you. You’re the only one i watch.
I live in Manhattan Kansas up in the Northeast of the state just two hours west of Kansas City and they’re telling us they were going to get less than an inch of ice and anywhere between eight and 12 inches of snowfall here
It.s start to be cold in Sweden. And lot off snow. On som places. It stop on the road. And the trucks can note move. Since the night and morning.
Thanks for the updates 👍🏼🙂
Any reason why you're skipping out on the mid atlantic on your forecasts?
A "ton of snow" is not that much.
Max for two days youve completely missed the 12-24 inches of snow we are getting off Lake erie in Northeast Ohio lol. Its literally blizzarding outside my window right this moment.
He said at beginning of this video there is lake effect snow.
@@dieterh.9342 we have storm warnings that arent even on his map he didnt say a thing about it, theres 4 storm chasers livestreaming the 3+ feet of snow off the great lakes... he missed it completely.
He's more focused on the less ordinary possible outcomes. Warning folks around the Lakes about lake effect snow is like warning people in Arizona about sunny weather. ;)
@@stvkomerI live around the Great Lakes…Michigan. Can you please tell me the names of those stormchaser channels? Thanks…stay warm!!!
@@irenafarm got a point lol
We’re getting wrecks from snow already in Virginia
