- Road trip in Lapland Day 1
After a lot of struggles to get to Finland I'm officially starting my internship with a road trip to get to know Lapland a little better! First day of our road trip around Finnish Lapland. Our journey starts from Rovaniemi and we are driving towards Posio.
Honestly if you are going into the forest at summer in Finland you need to be prepared for mosquitoes. I've got most of my bites during the clouberry picking. I used a looooot of mosquito repellent, and. I tried two different brands. At the end of our road trip I had over 70 bites, but not all of them itched, but still...

So....the stories I heard about the bugs and mosquitos in the Finnish northern forests are not exaggerated it seems 😅 nevertheless, it's beautiful out there!
Haha most definitely true, but even so a trip into the forest is worth it ✨

Åh tusen takk, det gjør meg skikkelig glad å høre ❤ Haha det var første gang jeg kjørte drone, det var såå skummelt, men absolutt verdt det! Huff, er det mulig… Den var så dyr, og vi hadde så dårlig tid at jeg bare rappet den med meg :/ nå ja lesson learned haha

Somehow they were able to get trough my clothing as well 🥲 but I think a net that covers your body would be nice, then I’m able to breathe as well, hiking all covered up sounds stuffy 🙈
