One of my favorites but I'm a rye junkie. I like rye more than straight bourbon. I know, sacrilege but rye whiskey deserves it's day.
I found these at Costco for 46 bucks. I’ve emptied a few, and managed to grab a few for reserve. It hits all the right notes on my palette! Cheers!

I just picked up a bottle today, and I must say this is fantastic! I agree with you, Matt - it is entirely unique. I have never had anything quite like it. I am on my second pour and it is just soooo good. Spice, tea, mint on the finish...delicious!
Yes!! This became a top 3 immediately. It is very different. That odd flavor to me is dried dark fruits: Blueberry, cherry, prunes, raisins. Yeah all of those. Keep up the great work

@@ADHDWhiskey so the LCBO is the government controlled liquor distributor in Ontario. They are the second largest such distributor in the world. They are known for their insane prices on most whiskey and how long it takes to bring in any new releases. (this last point is what I just coined LCBO time). Probably won't see this bottle until 2025😭. Cheers Matt

ADHD Whiskey that’d be great, rare breed rye is a great whisky and others profess that pikesville rye is one of the best, it’s be interesting to see them head to head, they’re also in the same price bracket, at least they are where I live.
@@iancampbell1494 They are both fantastic and pretty different from each other. I say get them both and keep them in your collection. I always will have both bottles on my shelf. They are both very fine expressions and examples of Rye. While your at it get a High West Double Rye. For 30$ price range it is excellent and also a great expression of a real upfront Rye. Those are my 3 accessible go to Ryes.

Matt, I'm hoping to get a bottle of Elijah Craig B520 barrel proof. And I'm still searching for a bottle of Stagg Jr, batch 12 or 13
The B520 is phenomenal! Are you usually able to find ECBP eventually or is it a unicorn in your area?
Its hit and miss in Vegas! I missed the Stagg Jr by 20 minutes one day and a couple of hours the next. EC barrel proof does come here, but doesnt stick around for long, so you have to watching for it.
EC B520 is realllllllly good, but I'd opt for the WTRB Rye any day. Well, just get both. Almost finished my first bottle of RB Rye, but luckily I have another, along with two bottles of WT101 Rye and several versions of ECBP.
