- A 10-day juice cleanse. How hard could it be..?

DO NOT approach this cleanse if you are looking for an easy "diet/weight-loss solution". This becomes a lifestyle. It changes your relationship with food, and makes you think about it in an entirely different light.

A short list of the morals I've taken away from this cleanse include but are not limited to: a greater understanding/respect for food as a whole, an organic lifestyle, veganism, and an appreciation for my body and what it's capable of...
A quick list of snacks I had on nearly on a daily basis consists of: a sliced apple w/ 1 tbsp natural PB, egg salad made with 2 eggs & 1 tbsp vegan mayo, low sodium tuna salad made with 1 tbsp vegan mayo, and a plethora of raw vegetables (carrots, celery, broccoli, bell peppers, snap peas, cucumbers)
ingredients for "protein balls":
• 1 cup oats (steel cut or rolled)
• ½ cup ground flaxseed (for bowel movement)
• ½ cup all natural peanut butter (I use smucker's)
• ⅓ cup honey
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• (it also calls for 2 scoops of protein powder)
directions re-worded by yours truly: In a large mixing bowl, stir the ingredients together until they are all damp and well-mixed. Then, either scoop out a tablespoon amount of the mix to form a ball, or use your fingers to make even ball shapes. (I found the hand-technique much easier, as I had more control) Then, layer the balls in a container, placing wax paper in between each layer to separate them and prevent sticking. Lastly, place em in a freezer for a few minutes before moving them permanently into the fridge for storage! :)

What discipline you have, to not quit while others are indulging in food you usually eat. You did it! And an honest review. This video was refreshingly honest, and you are real. You did good. I literally go so sick, i had to stop. I lasted 5 days and lost 6lbs but got really sick and energy was do down. I will try it another time maybe i suceed that time
Hazlo con Sue definitely only try again if it’s physically sustainable!!! Don’t push your body to levels of dangerous discomfort! You’re beautiful as is and if it can benefit you health-wise, go for it! But if not, don’t sweat it!!
Yes! We try to get everything organic. It’s might be more expensive but it’s so worth it. It’s more natural and better for the environment. ALSO, I’VE BEEN WANTING TO MAKE THOSE!

ashley reddy Update: We have a garden now becuase it can be expensive. Idk that organic is always better, implying that sometimes what’s most sustainable for yourself really is. I would like to apologize for any misconceptions I may have had then because I feel like I sounded naive a year ago but thanks for the reply!

What exercises did you do for physical therapy? I used to be obese and plus sports always had my knees dislocating and relocating. My physical therapist gave me exercises but I haven’t seen progress. Thanks 9
For my knee in particular I would do calf-raises, leg presses, clamshells, leg-lifts, or stretch my knee by gas-pedaling with an exercise band. :))
ashley lonardo Okay, pretty much the same. So just building your leg muscle and muscle Around the knee helps. Did you do it daily?

When you say drink 1/2 your lbs in oz of water,
Does that mean if I weight 183 lbs, I should drink that divided by 2 and drink that number, in oz ?
Or should I convert lbs to oz and drink that amount.
just divide the weight by 2! and that would be the amt in oz you'd drink! ex: 183/2 = 91.5.. so 91/92 oz of water per day! Sounds crazy but def do-able.. I bring bottles with me everywhere..

Hi everyone-- I just wanted to make a post acknowledging that I no longer praise diet culture or any of the fads in the video.
I have had a long journey (2+ years) battling and recovering from an eating disorder, which I am very open about informing others on!! I wish to help educate on body positivity and healing your relationship with yourself and with food. Weight loss is fine when achieved in a healthy manner, and I am always an advocate for feeling good and being your best self!
I would recommend this book for those looking to turn to a plant-based lifestyle or simply change their habits to eat less processed foods... if interpreted differently, this could be labeled as “pushing diet-culture”, but I want to make it clear that is not what I was doing nor was it my 17 y/o self’s intention!
Good luck to anyone participating in this diet, but I personally would not support it or recommend it unless you have a fully healed relationship with food and yourself. Know your worth, know your beauty, THEN work on implementing self love and change!!

How are you making this without a book?
Recently completed that second cleanse... oddly enough I didn't lose any weight... but I AM excited, because after each cleanse I get back into the swing of my organic lifestyle! I eat only whole/organic foods, non-processed!! Makes the difference in the way your body performs... also have been journaling a lot more, limiting my screen-time on my phone to less throughout the day. Whenever I get a chance I leave my phone behind!!
I did show the book in my video... I think? If not, I did still complete this cleanse using one. :)

I have been doing something familiar to this, i changed a few things but overall very alike, i can tell you, IT REALLY WORKS, like really really does. i've lost 9LBS in 13 days, and the first 5 days included a lot of cheating due to a celebration for my kids at chucky'cheese and other events, i just couldn't avoid it but after that I've been going extreme with my own routine and secrets!! i will be posting a video on this in 2 days, ya'll be ready!!!!!!!! i included my exercise, my timing, everything! (my secret water recipes for weigh loss and my experience with them in a different video!)
*UPDATE* I love RX Bars. They've become a staple snack or meal throughout my day. (rx bar sponsor me plz)
It was often teetering back-and-forth between Maple Sea Salt and Mint Chocolate... but my fave from the beginning was Peanut Butter Chocolate, and it always will be!!

Not having coffee is going to be an issue 😂 TFS all the TMIs too
haha.. I will say, though I've changed DRASTICALLY since then anyway... I used to drink about 3 cups of coffee a day... Now I drink 1 every 2 weeks?? If that? I've switched to tea, mainly green, and it's wayyy more soothing... also makes you feel better about the stimulant that you're putting in your body. (would much rather get caffeine from tea than coffee)

That’s odd! It “works” for everyone since it’s whole food/smoothies/a calorie deficit for an extended period of tome... it may not LAST for all, but that depends on what you return to eating post-cleanse.... strange that it had no effect on you guys though.
