    I completed this cleanse about two yrs ago and gained weight, smh....lol but I found out it was because I am sensitive to sugar/carbs. After a few months, I went on a green smoothie challenge for 28 days. I only used berries with various greens and a stevia liquid sweetener if I wanted an extra kick. I lost 36.4 pounds and have kept off 29.0 pounds two years later. You did great queen👏👏👏👏💜.

    I love when ppl are honest, this is rough especially the first time. I'm currently on day 5 of a juice detox(no food), getting to day 8 seems like a miracle.

      @@mommymarine1756 I encourage u to stick with it, I had a few week moments but I did notice my meat craving disapated and I'm pretty sure my colon is clean...the tiny weight loss wasn't enough to talk about plus it came back once I ate. Def will do it again, but I will mix juicing and blending to mitigate hunger cravings due to no fiber.

    I did this smoothie for 10 days right before my Sister wedding and lost 14 pounds. It was rough but I was determined to stick with it. This was a few years ago and I am thinking about doing it again to get the Pandemic weight off.

    The beginning of your video is so applauding because you're not taking away from the creators business with showing how every smoothie is made. Ironically I've started doing a smoothie breakfast for a month now, without knowing about this diet at all and the ingredients are similar, 🤣. The weight started dropping for me almost instantly and that is still with eating whatever I cook for lunch, with little food after work. I'm allergic to peanuts, so walnuts have been my "nut" of choice, lol, and I find them to be extremely fulfilling, especially after work. My body looks lighter and my clothes fit much better. The smoothie breakfast has helped me a lot but I only do it about 3-4 times a week because I can't do smoothies every day. Lol. I need egg, bacon, sausage or something. 😂

    I’ve done this a few times and when I have my snacks prepared and scheduled, it makes all the difference! And, when you fall down, get back up. I also have learned to only make the smoothies I love 💕.

    The key is to keep your blood sugar balanced. You’re looking fabulous. Fruit is great, and its better if you eat it whole or in a smoothie to get the fiber. Because its the fiber that balances your blood sugar.

    My mom and I are doing this after New Years, and I’m happy im watching your review because I also hate sweets, so It’s good to know it is possible even if it is challenging, but I like the idea of sautéing spinach for a snack.

    Also, breakouts, congestion and mucus are all a part of the cleanse. The Mag07 and liver cleanse takes care of that. All the best sis. It’s a great tool but can be challenging.

      Anya Jackson if you follow to the T it is a little easier. Don’t skip anything. That includes the Mag07 and liver cleanse. And create those snacks she recommends. When the hungry comes, trust they help. Boiled eggs, celery, Carrots, tuna, nuts, Sliced apples and unsweetened almond butter will help.

    Thx for your blog. I completed my cleanse a little over a week ago. By the end, I made a detox soup to eat on a few days after day 10. I did experience great sleep like you did as well as a few breakouts but nothing serious. I also had night sweats OMG. Around day 2 or 3vi felt stuffy. I thought it was my allergies but I guess it was all part of the detox process. I enjoyed most of the smoothies. I didn't care much for the one with mixed berries. It was way too much seeds in it for me. I don't think I drank much of that smoothie. I felt really sleepy on days 2 and 3 during mid day. I had headaches as well. I didn't feel sluggish when waking up with was amazing. I wld say by day 4 I wasn't affected by the detox symptoms. I lost 13 pounds but had to do the salt water flush on the weekend.
    Now that my 10 days are over I'm still incorporating my favorite smoothies with a meal and snacking to sort of stay on track. I have a lot of JJ Smith recipies that can be used to help continue the weight loss journey.

    I’ve completed the smoothie cleanse several times. I adjusted the smoothie too. I didn’t used grapes, mix greens(I just used spinach) didn’t used the added sweetener, or mix fruit) I love day 6 smoothie. It works I lost 17 pounds the first time 14 pounds the second time. I didn’t like how it blotted my stomach up. I lost the pounds but still felt bigger. I would also suggest weighting in the morning after you’ve used the bathroom for the most accurate weight.

    I lost the exact amount of weight as you did, but more importantly I FEEL GREAT that I made all 10 days and I can see the inches. I am actually wearing a dress today that I have not worn in a year. I went from 183.6 to 176. I am now doing the modified cleanse / clean eating. I am also taking Liver Focus and Mag07 (as needed). This was jump start to my health, fitness and weight loss journey.

    i made a homemade tomato soup to help me out. very savory and helped offset the sweetness.
    A few tomatoes
    cloved garlic
    carrots from my juicing
    some sweet peppers
    half of an onion
    i roasted all the veggies in the oven. i blended all the ingredients in the blender and got a creamy tomato soup. you can add that over some zucchini noodles or add veggies to the soup.
    also you can substitute fruit for the less sugary fruit. use a green apple instead of red apples. in the book it talks about the fruit that has less sugar.
    I also dont used the protein powder in the smoothie. I save it for my workout smoothie and or use it as a dessert smoothie for a sweet tooth.
    I think the main thing is to have a meal plan. If you do the modified meal part you can spread your protein out over lunch and dinner. half chicken breast and salad for lunch and other half portion chicken and veggies for dinner. add lots of different veggies to each meal. I know a green smoothie with a salad is 😭😭😭. you have to get fuel every three to four hours.
    you have to drink lots of water as well I make my herbal teas and buy a gallon of water and make a gallon to pull from during the week.

    I would not add Stevia if you don’t like sweet things, it makes it sweeter and personally I think it’s nasty. Plain fruit and veggies works for me.

    Best video I've seen!!! I have been doing this on and off. Currently I'm on day 5. I have my moments too where I cheat. Last night was horrible I had 2 slices of pizza 🤦🏿‍♀️😭 I take the liver focus pills and tea in the morning and mag 07 at night. You look amazing and thank you for sharing your journey. Im also happy that you respected JJ's plan by not sharing the recipes.

    You can use more greens than fruits in smoothies. When I started the cleanse I felt it was too sweet so I used 3 or more handful of greens with less fruit. I also drank a gallon of water per day to help the process.

      Half-Pint Paris a lot of ppl do this cleanse for benefits other than weight loss. I know i felt amazing and got the best sleep! I plan on doing it again soon as well!

    I started the cleanse on 8/19/20 weighing in at 209.2 lbs. I made some minor adjustments to my green smoothie. Instead of the water I add coconut milk to mine, because I like that tropical taste. I use spinach, avocado, pineapples, peaches and coconut milk. I weighed on 8/23/20 and the scale read 202.4 lbs. I drink 48 oz. a day and I eat a piece of baked meat and veggies consisting of broccoli, mushrooms, red peppers, orange peppers, yellow peppers and zucchini. So my cleanse is going well, which I'm surprised because I haven't even been tempted to eat unhealthy while at work. Just trying to get back in shape during this pandemic time of indulging with my eating. #staypositive

    I just happened to be doing this same 10 day cleanse, but have been intermittent fasting and juicing on and off for many years. The reason you were talking on not being able to take all the sweet in alot of those smoothies is more than likely if you added those stevia sweeteners. I've left them out of all the smoothies so far and they taste just right. Those stevia sweeteners are even ridiculously sweeter than normal sugar although they won't wreck your diet. My two cents

    Good morning. I’ve done JJSmiths Detox. I was successful doing modified. I lost 8 pounds. Like you, at night I needed something hot. I made vegetable soup. I also used that soup to come out of the cleanse so that I did not shock my stomach. Please note it sounds like you may not have had enough snacks. The program does allow for a few healthy options. They kept me from craving. That was 2 years ago. I still use the smoothies in my diet and when I want to do a mini cleanse for a few days I do so to reset.

    My favorite snacks on this cleanse are apples w/peanut butter, boiled eggs or a spring mix/spinach w/cucumber, carrots & tuna with a squeeze of lemon. Mmmmm😋 sooo yummy. Sometimes I get a little creative and make deviled eggs.

    The first time I did it I lost 9lbs and it was so hard because I was starving. But I was happy with my results. I didn't do it to the t cuz I was snacking. But I did it a second time and I got sick, had vertigo, but lost 5 lbs lol. This time I'm doing it again the right way. Can't wait

      Henny Castle I lost 5 pounds. But I lost 10 pounds just doing portion control before that. I think it would have been better if I had done this in the beginning as a jump start but since I went into it already losing most my goal weight I didn't lose much. I do still drink the smoothies but only use it to replace one or two meals a day.

    I did this cleanse for over a year the set back I kept having is tired of the smoothies..... I'm doing intermittent fasting and eating a pescatarian diet and it's the best lifestyle ever. I still have a smoothie occasionally.

      Brittany I PocketsandBowsTV I lost 10lbs first 2 weeks I felt guilty cause I was eating..... The trick is to watch carb and sugar and pay special attention to ingredients. I saw jj came up with a keto program.....hmmm. The concept of the Healthy Keto lifestyle is great. Look up some videos on youtube

    I just started day 1, so it was good to see your journey. You mentioned salting several foods, like eggs and spinach, and I don't think salt is allowed under the plan. But if it worked, more power.

    Nice video. I just completed a 21 day juice fast, which I prefer juice over smoothies. If I do a smoothie the consistency has to be extremely thin almost like water. I was like you the sleep was the absolute best! My first day was my worst day...headache, nausea and vomited once. I experience the drainage of mucous also. But I hear that’s part of your body detoxifying, which toxins also releases through your skin which probably why you had the facial pimples. I cheated about 4 days total because at the end I wanted food. I goal was not to eat anything. Just wanted to drink my homemade juice and drink plenty of water, but I sauté spinach and ate a mixture of blackberries and strawberries. When I was done I was down 14 lbs total which was great. I started at 209.2 ended at 195.2. The first thing I ate was crab legs too. Great job. Thank for sharing with us and for being honest of your good days as well as your struggle days.

    "Today is day 8 of 10... and... I'm over it" lol! But on a serious note I totally understand -- going liquid in general can be so hard when you're accustomed to eating tangible food (especially since I'm a savory person too). Shout out to you for this dedication though sis!

    I did this cleanse a couple years ago it was extra hard because I was eating strictly vegan at the time but I followed it to the letter but those were a long ten days keeping a journal those 10 days helped a lot my least favorite smoothie was the one with the kale in it...I was like you I was over it at the end of the 10 days

      That's awesome! I feel like the weight i lost was in 8 days as well. I didn't really lose anything the last 2 days.

      @@PocketsandBowsTV Me either. I think it's mostly water weight, but it's a good start to a healthier lifestyle, in my opinion. Also I think it's important to continue to incorporate at least one smoothie a day, as a replacement meal to continue to see results, along with the proper foods that will help reach the ultimate goal!     You could imcrease the flaxseeds or chia seeds to 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup in your. Instead of banana use half an avacado. Use more greens and less fruit fir less sweetness tasting. Find a smoothie tou like and use that. Also if you dnt like drinking a smoothie..make a salad. Use flaxseed oil in your dressing 2 tbs.

    Good morning BEAUTIFUL!!. OMG I did this with my mom and ohhhh boyyyy, I was doing great until day 4...... Girl I wanted food soooo bad I was angry😡😡😡 but I fought threw and made it to day 10. My clothes were fitting much better and I was down 8 lbs💪💪🙌🙌🙌

    When you eat and you feel full but not satisfied your not getting enough healthy fats EFA's..coconut oil ..ghee...mct oil and you can put a tablespoon or 2 in your smoothies..it makes a huge difference and I used L-caritine it not only did you tells the body to burn stored fat for energy but it takes away your cravings and appetite

    The ones with kale are the worst. I only like juicing kale! Putting it in a smoothie destroys the consistency! When you said day 4/5 I knew exactly which one...lol

    too much fruit/sugars in my smoothies makes me break out!... a tip: add half an avocado for that smooth texture and herbs like basil for extra flavour and kick !

    I have a question. In this book, Day 1 recipe is Berry Green and the ingredients are:
    3 handfuls spinach
    2 cups water
    1 apple, cored, quartered
    1 cup frozen mangos
    1 cup frozen strawberries
    1 handful frozen or fresh seedless grapes
    1 stevia packet (add more to sweeten, if necessary)
    2 tablespoons ground flaxseeds
    OPTIONAL: 1 scoop of protein powder
    ARE THESE INGREDIENTS FOR THE WHOLE DAY, OR FOR 1 SMOOTHIE OUT OF THE THREE?

    I’ve tried to do the smoothie thing before and I’m like you I am a savory girl. I do try and have a smoothie in the morning with a scoop of moringa powder which cuts the sweetness for me and helps with inflammation in my body. But I’m here for your journey girl. Good luck!

    Whole foods plant based high fiber nutritional dense diet cover's everything. Blended whole foods juice every day sauna fasting exercise plenty of water sleep meditation family time destress rest from prayer to prayer. Then do it the next day. Don't think so hard about tomorrow. Just for today is all you have. Yesterday is history tomorrow a mystery . Today is what counts

      I drank what was made in the blender. I just used the cup to keep it cold.

    I have been doing something familiar to this, i changed a few things but overall very alike, i can tell you, IT REALLY WORKS, like really really does. i've lost 9LBS in 13 days, and the first 5 days included a lot of cheating due to a celebration for my kids at chucky'cheese and other events, i just couldn't avoid it but after that I've been going extreme with my own routine and secrets!! i will be posting a video on this, ya'll be ready!!!!!!!! i included my exercise, my timing, everything! (my secret water recipes for weigh loss and my experience with them in a different video!)
