Documentary/ BTS avail on Nightwish YT Shorts. (My fav is the eagle ‘soaring’ as Floor’s vocals are ‘soaring’). The band members as “ghosts” in the library represent ‘The Elements of Nature’ are Wind/Air, Water, Earth & Fire. Without these, the world could not function in the perfect and orderly fashion that it does. The wind raises the clouds to form the rain, that nurtures the earth to grow vegetation, fruits and flowers, and the wood that kindles the fire. Love this music video! I had to go look up the lyrics..and it is really deep! Tuomas Holopainen is just a genius...plain and simple. Oh...when Floor is singing with the chorus... I believe it is the London Choir singing...and Tuomas decided to blend Floor in with the choir. Well...I can't wait until September 20th to order the new album. And yes...I am going to watch your video! You have an amazing voice....and I really love your music! I will be 67 years old in a few days...and I still prefer my music a bit on the hard side! As a Nightwish fan, I had to listen to this song multiple times to dissect and absorb it. Your review helps me understand what 's really going on here. I'd rather listen to a reactor that articulates the mechanics and song theory than a reactor that says, "This is wonderful!!!" while they force a smile. Keep up the good work! If you want another rabbit hole, try a band called The Warning. They bring high energy original rock with 90's-2000's flavor. Their live performances shine. Just 3 young sisters who've been on stage for ten years with a growing fanbase. Try "Hell you call a dream" first, here on their official YT channel.
With one thing I don't align - the video cannot be more expensive than yours. Stock images, a very good AI tool, a few real scenes and yes, a great editing. The Album will be out September 16th .......as you know they'll be taking a 2/3 yr break leaning more to 3 yrs before touring BUT Tuomas said the other day that he doesn't know how long itll be ....i think itll be shorter , i think by the end of next year he"ll be ready to go back out , i know Floor and Kai are ready now. Anyway i cant wait to hear this and the rest of the album LIVE . BTW ....not being able to catch the lyrics in the chorus alot of people have been complaining about Floors voice being recorded to low in the chorus.

Well, this music video is one of the best l've ever seen. It's award winning material (all the free divers are real, not any cgi, you find their names in the info box of the original video). And the Floor's mix in the chorus. It's their artistical choice, which l don't support, but l can live with it. Better to hear words before without Troy's conclusion. 😅👍

The music video is full of visual jokes, directed by Ville Lipiläinen. The song absolutely works without any visuals, and NW has done a good one again (not surprised). People are of two minds about the vocal track, but the slightly low vocalist volume is a conscious choice, and doesn't bother me at all.
A lot of people comment about the mix. Its an interesting choice, a little crushed sounding, but ive realised that as a theme track to the video its perfect. It really does sound like a soundtrack. It doesnt work quite as well as a standalone single though. Back to back with another Nightwish song it sounds very very narrow and compressed.
He does it that way because if the video he's reacting to is over a certain size that can be one reason he gets a copyright strike and the video is blocked from being posted.
