      That's just so he can cut all the way through his material without damaging the saw horses. The 2x4 isn't guiding the blade, it'd just cut through it.

      It’s there to support the cut so it doesn’t bind/ pinch the blade.

    I tried it no problem, how do I remove all the osb splinters from my delicate fingers I'm an accountant.

      I put electrical tape on the part of the finger that’s in contact with the osb.

      @kejadventures241 uh ok? Just because it's another way that works doesn't means it's wrong. Just as accurate as a chalkline for skinnier rips. No different than ripping drywall

    OK or you see that black line running down the border already, use your gage on your saw and follow that, then you won't have to use a tape measure. What a waste of time. Imo

    You can make a straight line the same way using a pencil where the saw is. Then cut the line instead of trying to hold your tape square the whole time. No way thats a straight cut with blade wobble.
