Am 58 years old and I still remember my dad doing the same thing to me on a cub 100. I love it.

    Looks like a good time!
I'm not a grandfather yet, but my 9yr old has 5 garden tractors so far. We've been moving some dirt around with his tractors widening our driveway. I can't think of a better way to my spend time than playing in the dirt with my son.

The Cub, like most real garden tractors, needs some big weight on the rear to really take advantage of its full capability. That way you wouldn't have to use the "slamming method" to push everything. Wheel weights inside and out are a necessity.

Thanks for the tip, but the tires are loaded with washer fluid, 70lbs of wheel weights and tire chains. It does work better with my 205lbs on it vs the grand son's 40-50lbs

I have a 123 how do you keep the blade from tripping

There is a way to lock it but not recommended. if you it something hard you could launch yourself over the hood. If your blade seems to trips too easily make sure you have the proper springs on the blade.
