Cub Cadet 123/dozer vs Cub Cadet 106/loader vs Magnatrac MT1800/loader
Переглядів 317 тис.9 років тому
In this video I am comparing the performance of my Cub Cadet 123 equipped with dozer blade, fluid filled tires, wheel weights weighing about 850lbs. Vs. my Cub Cadet 106 w/ front end loader that weighs 2000lbs, Vs. My Magnatrac MT1800 w/ front end loader weighing 2250lbs. I was surprised how well the little 123 did. I'm pushing a years worth miniature horse/donkey manure mixed with wood pellets...

Here I'm using my Cub Cadet 106, equipped with a front end loader to move a 1946 Chev Fleetmaster into my repair shop. Note that the brakes on the Chev are frozen on, and the rear wheels aren't turning. The 106 pushed it with ease!

Almosta ranch. 😂
A man has to know his limitations. 😂
😂
I like the lights on the boom you could signal the mothership while doing yard work.
I just got the same machine anyone know what chain size so I can build me some tracks
Awesome rigs ty for sharing

Tracks rule
What lipos are you using to get 4s with the tiny Et410 battery tray?
Magnatrac for the win! They were all better than a shovel fer sure. However; none of em did any favors to your lawn. :)
You must be a Cub collector, Cubs where I’m located at sell for $$$$$. I would just buy a TL230 and been done. 😉
When you put a tracked vehicle up against a wheeled ( 2 or 4 wheeled drive) the tracked vehicle will do the job quicker. It is due to the ground force effect of the tracks.
I’m really surprised that Struck hasn’t put Caterpillar out of business. Will probably buy them out or merge the two companies.
Start a worm farm and sell the worms online, instead of wasting all the good stuff and a bunch of fuel and time :-)
Amazing camera work
İzlemeye doyamadım bende yapmak istiyorum fakat maddiyat iyi değil
For the price of a magnatrac I can buy a 450C JD nonsense...
Whats the stroke on the tilt piston s
eat my dust!
What size is bucket
Did you find out if it's a strong machine?
@@ferenzi7741 I have a hydro 5000 it's a f beast
The comparison was real. Cubs rule, got one. Naturally the tracks would do best. But the old mags were always fron heavy till they got their head out and moved attachment points back and added weight were needed. But all three would have done better with someone that knows how each one should be run, and raise blade and bucket on revets8 stroke unless your back dragging to see where your at on leveling ! My measly two pennies !
Try it on a muddy day. Oh wait….
Can't beat Trac machine
I know the Struck Magnatracs are stupid expensive, but it would be nice to see how something like the RS1000 or MD196K with blades would've done. Unfortunately they discontinued the loader for the RS1000 for now.
I’ve purchased the Struck Magnatrac MH8500 fully loaded, $48K delivered to an ABF Freight yard. There’s a 24.8HP Kubota diesel under the hood, plenty of power for the size of the machine. In comparison, I’d gotten a quote for a John Deere tractor of similar engine power, the 3033R, with backhoe, front end loader, and snow blower- at $75K. Pound for pound, I’d say the Struck machine is on par with the Deere, for half the cost. My ‘Trac, fully loaded with all the goodies I’d wanted, for about the same price as the Deere 3033R with nothing on it but the name. No disrespect to the John Deere family, they’re a significantly larger company, and have a much larger corporate footprint. Hence the higher costs.
Does it dig good
How many gallon per minute hydraulic pump
7 gpm pump on both
@@DUGSTUFF thanks
Awesome machine - was the loader a kit build?
These machines were sold as a kit. The Loader on mine was custom rebuilt by me.
What runs the hydrolics on the 106
oil of course ha ha
@@warrenscott8491 duh lol. I mean where’s the pump
I was surprised to see how well the 123 w/front blade preformed.
Maggie wins.
observation: Why is the Magn atrak competing?
umm . . that's not a dump trailer. You MagnaToy owners are Magna pushing it. Get a Magna life.
observation: Most riding mowers could push rotted landscape timbers but the opening scene was a hoot. You should try a compact utility Deere. You could literally complete 1 job and re-sell it.
Deere John. You seem to be a MagnaHater.
2000 lbs....are you sure>? That is a 600 some lb tractor, with maybe 400-500 lbs of loader etc....Where is all the weight coming from? I do not see 800lbs of weights...Just saying. A VERY similar sized case Loader, even WITH weight was about 1500 lbs.
It weighed 2200 lbs at a tractor pull with me sitting on it.
The only thing I hate about those magnatrack units is that it's like the designers have zero sense of reality. Even their dozer blade is tiny. They build this big tracked machine then have tiny implements. The bucket you have isn't even the width of the tracks. What good is a bucket that's narrower than the tracks? When you were pushing the manure the narrow bucket had the one track riding up on the pile which put the machine and loader at an angle creating an uneven bed. The blade on the smallest tractor you used is wider than both buckets on the bigger tractors and the bigger wheeled tractor had a wider bucket than the magnatrack. As far as material moved the Magnatrack was fastest, the bigger cub was second and the small cub was third. As far as finished quality, levelness the order is opposite. The blade did best even with the small tractor size. The bucket on the larger cub is at least the width of the tires so you got a level push. The Magna track while moving the material fastest would take the longest to get a nice landscape and level. I would never buy a Magnatrack. The last thing you should have to do with new equipment is modify the obvious right out of the box. While I have seen Magnatracks with full width loaders they'll have manual dump instead of hydraulics. For the kind of money they are charging for these machines such massive and obvious oversights would scare the shit out of me thinking about having to repair and maintain the rest of the machine. Magnatrack seems to be a company happy with the phrase "good enough" and that phase has been the cause for every repair or maintenance task that resulted in a mechanic's dreams of ill will for the designer. For that kind of money I'd either find something that at least looks like it makes sense or design and build my own.
The last sentence was unnecessary.
I want to come over and play tractors with you laugh out loud nice equipment though I'm jealous you sure do know how to spread your s*** around LOL
the bucket and the tracked machine do not seem to be appropriately counter weighted for the weight of the FEL. and the resulting loads
Hence why struck doesn't sell one on their tracked vehicles till you get to contractor size tracked vehicles. It only ways 575 lb if it is the one I'm thinking
I was looking for a price comparison. They all would do the job, eventually! Fuel usages, but was still enjoyable to watch. Don’t get hurt!
i have to point it out, but why are you running the loaders the same way you ran the tractor with the blade on it
looks great bro!👍 awesome spot!
That looks like fun! I am guessing the Tekno beat the others?

Like the real life comparisons of these 3. Awesome video....thanks for the upload!
Wait till the tracks come off that magna track that’ll be fun to work on all that 💩 poop
I haven't had that problem since I put on new tracks years ago. Wait until you bury that kabota up to the axles, that will be some real fun!
