    That's awesome I love how the bucket can turn upside down.

      Thanks. It initially dumped from the rear and could only dump flat on the ground. Moving the pivot to the front allows it to dump at 36" high vs 1".

    The difference is noticeable....nice job on the design, fabrication and mods

      Thanks Mark. It's been fun messing with this thing. Amazing how much power these little guys have.

    Nice build! I equipped my Sears Suburban 12 with 8” wide Kenda Executioners, filled with RV antifreeze, homemade lead wheel weights, 120lbs per side, and stock weights on top of that. Made a ripper from a large box blade shank. It’ll bury it over a foot deep. Looks like yours might need a bit more angle to hook in properly.

      It's traction limited due to the loader weight. I can hang that same ripper on my 3225 with no ballast, ATV tires and a 3-pt hitch an it'll bury and pull it with no problem. Weird how much traction that loader weight removes.

      @@rc-Cub-Cadet-Nut Try lifting your loader as much as possible to get it closer to your center of gravity. Should help a bit.

      I have. No real gain that I could tell. I also have problems with it pulling my box blade. The no loader 3225 has no problem with it either. Unfortunately the loader tractor sux for rear implements.

    I've learned most times ripping needs some wheel speed lol. Nice tractor Man

    What size sports weights are those? They seem perfect diameter for a 12" rim!

    • @rc-Cub-Cadet-Nut
      @rc-Cub-Cadet-Nut  Місяць тому

      They are 25lb CAP basic plates. They fit in the rim lip perfectly. I do have 5 and 10lb weights down inside the wheels as well. 100lbs per wheel total.

    Outstanding machine. 💪🙂
    I did a Johnny Bucket version of this on my 2006 GT2544 with joystick controls for the bucket and electric sleeve hitch. Always loved the Big Brother Hydraulic 3000 series. I think they made a loader for this one, the 812 model, but it's very hard to come by as is a clean 3000.
    You've done an amazing job with that loader hitch combo, great machine, never sell it. They don't make them like used you, like everything else. That thing is a beast!
    My tractor is on my other channel quantumphaser, this one's my gaming one😜
    Cheers 🍻

      Thank you sir. It's been a work in progress for a few years now. The loader does all I could ask of it. It is so useful with forks in the bucket and a pallet to haul brush on.
      I checked out your vids. Your 2000 looks to be set up well.

    Are those taper bearing trailer hubs on the front? That's a great idea. Custom spindle?

    • @rc-Cub-Cadet-Nut
      @rc-Cub-Cadet-Nut  Рік тому +1

      Yes, they are 4/4 boat trailer hubs. The spindles are long enough that the backing ring can be cut off and a new ring welded on to position the hub correctly. I use half of a 1" IDX1.25" OD tractor top link bushing as the new ring. I put the ring on loosely, put the assembled hub on and end retainer bolt on, turn it hub down, push the ring against the bearing and tack it in place. Then disassemble it and weld the ring solid. DOne.

    How do you work on engine? How does the hood come off, or do you have to unhook the bucket assembly? Tnx

    • @rc-Cub-Cadet-Nut
      @rc-Cub-Cadet-Nut  2 роки тому

      It just tips forward and the headlight touches the lift cylinder. I can get at everything I need to without unhooking anything. On Cub 3000s the hood is just the white part and the hood sides come off with clips. They can also come off without unhooking anything.

    did you mount those on the stock rims?

    • @rc-Cub-Cadet-Nut
      @rc-Cub-Cadet-Nut  3 роки тому +1

      The 25x10-12 tires are on narrower rims than this GT had originally. They are on 12x7" rims. The factory rims are 12x8.5" Mine were broken around the bolt circle and the ones on it are what I found locally for sale

      I guess the 27x11x12 SunF tires on my other tractor won't work on the new to me cub. Have you put a belly mower under the tractor with those 25's?

      @@mikechapman4767 Sorry so late to reply. I never got a notification on this and found this comment randomly. I haven't had a deck on it but some of the guys on MTF have had up to 26" on with a deck.

      It sure is lol. Even with each tire with weights and liquid ballast weighing 200lbs. I currently have 270lbs on the rear hitch and it has helped greatly.
