  • In this video I am comparing the performance of my Cub Cadet 123 equipped with dozer blade, fluid filled tires, wheel weights weighing about 850lbs. Vs. my Cub Cadet 106 w/ front end loader that weighs 2000lbs, Vs. My Magnatrac MT1800 w/ front end loader weighing 2250lbs. I was surprised how well the little 123 did. I'm pushing a years worth miniature horse/donkey manure mixed with wood pellets

Start a worm farm and sell the worms online, instead of wasting all the good stuff and a bunch of fuel and time :-)

Not meaning to bash anyone here, especially Dugstuff, but did anyone seriously expect tires to give tracks any real competition. Great video and if all you have is tire equipment it can do the job, it just takes more planning. I use a Kubota 55 horse with a six foot bucket quite a bit so I know how challenging a tire equipped tractor can be. Thumbs up for a great video.

Magnatrac for the win! They were all better than a shovel fer sure. However; none of em did any favors to your lawn. :)

I’m really surprised that Struck hasn’t put Caterpillar out of business. Will probably buy them out or merge the two companies.

The comparison was real. Cubs rule, got one. Naturally the tracks would do best. But the old mags were always fron heavy till they got their head out and moved attachment points back and added weight were needed. But all three would have done better with someone that knows how each one should be run, and raise blade and bucket on revets8 stroke unless your back dragging to see where your at on leveling ! My measly two pennies !

struck is a top knot machine.get the magnatrac 8000,its got the HP to spare.and suggestions, get loader bucket and the larger backhoe. I am getting one ASAP, I made do with a JD 350loader/backhoe but too many hours and expensive parts are killing me

I can almost smell it! I rototilled for my grandpa for five years each spring. A 3 acre patch. These tools would have been a lifechanger. I'd probably be in the Agribusiness now.

I had a Cub Cadet Model #122 years ago. The tires were filled with fluid and I used chains. It worked great plowing snow.

As was stated before, all good machines. The key point is to size your equipment for the use and to not over work it. Case in point, you should have had a smaller bowl with the smaller Cub. Additionally, pair the right implement to the machine.

I was looking for a price comparison. They all would do the job, eventually! Fuel usages, but was still enjoyable to watch. Don’t get hurt!
