      Thank you so much for those encouraging words. I am new at this UA-cam stuff, but I feel like we need inspiring material to enlighten us instead of the dark stuff they keep spreading.

    Parley Pl Pratt, was a man of Faith that lived the gospel and was a great man.

      Agreed He was an earnest seeker of Truth, and recognized it when he heard it and received many witnesses through the Spirit during his life. I'm sure like me and all human beings he had flaws. But he was a dedicated follower of Christ. Thanks for watching. There is a great story coming Wednesday

    Love your stories and testimony of the truth of the gospel. When i was baptized i read PPPs book. Seems i remember an angel stood before him on one of his missions. He was a glorious inspired man.

    I love hearing people tell truthful stories and about our Church members.
    But all faiths have good people in them
    We try and share more about what we have.
    This really is wonderful history ❤

    One of P.P.P.’s grandsons was in the MTC as me, and in the same classes. He really wanted to be like his great, great grandfather.

    Thank YOU Lance. You spent my Easter with me, helping me feel the spirit. I always wanted to hang glide my entire life. Now I'm 59...kinda gave up the dream. I'm still a biker chick tho...I won't give up my bike. We have been together many years. 😉

    John Taylor's wife was sister to George Cannon. When John came to England on his mission he had a letter from Leanora to her brother. George wasn't home but his wife, Anne Quayle, invited him to return that evening. As he left, Anne said to her two young sons, George Q. and Angus, "There goes a man of God." Also, to this day in Columbia, Missouri they hold the Parley P. Pratt run on the 4th of July.

    A grandmother on my line was widowed with very many children. Records show that she then married Parley P. Pratt

    Hey Lance, I saw you come up on UA-cam. Quite a difference Lance then the one the does crazy hang gliding stuff. Parley is a great ... uncle. I love that there are ski run and summits in Park City that are named after him. Thanks for making the effort to put good content out there. You are a good story teller.     The jail break story involved a brave woman, Laura Clark, married to one of the prisoners, Morris Charles Phelps. She risked her life to help the men escape.

      I would recommend the autobiography of PP Pratt. It is a wonderful book. Thanks for the tip on meningitis. I sometimes don't do all the investigation I should . Thanks for watching.

      @@lancemerrill6390 Thank you. I'm loving listening to all of your inspirational, informational stories! I worked for a travel agency owned by a descendant of PP. He told the story of PP's escape from a jailer by tricking the pursuing dog to by pass him. 😀
