failwhale34 best episode ever
I do hope you watched 'the end of time' parts one and two before S5
@AllGoodNames AreGone there's not really point of telling him that, he's way ahead in watching
Yes the Dr Donna!! And the best temp in Chiswick!! that's why she's special!
Remember what doctor moon said? ''Yes, Donna. You saw The Doctor.... and then you forgot.''
FORESHADOWING 101.
Have you left this comment on multiple reactions?
@@andrewmakesthings
Maybe.
@@andrewmakesthings It helps when multiple reactors watch the same episode within a few months of each other.
How did I never realise this before!? My heart 😭
ok i'm a dumbass lol i am just now realizing that lol
As far as I'm concerned, Donna became the most beautiful character of New Who for all of this episode and then WE lost her. And it still hurts.
💔
And now she’s back
She’s back now.
And know this, Doctor Donna. You will never be forgotten. Our children will sing of the Doctor Donna. And our children’s children. And the wind and the ice and the snow will carry your names forever.
T_T
"She's realizing her worth... she's dead as disco." Ohhh its much much worse than that....
Wilf makes you laugh and he makes you cry... every time.
Wilf the goat
@@failwhale34 You have no idea. I mean, current-time, real-life you has an idea, but the you from this video has NO IDEA. :D

Infinity War before Infinity War was a thing. 👌😍
Preach!!!!
Green Lyon Gaming - GLG well technically infinity war was before this episode... in the comics
@@bait1s Erm..yeah, that's true actually, I didn't think about that!!!
@@bait1s who cares! Snairnendifnrnduaiwbs tiei3gr
Nah, Stolen Earth was Infinity War, this was Endgame.
Davros: I NAME YOU FOREVER! YOU ARE THE DESTROYER OF WORLDS!!!
Also Davros: *attempts to destroy all of reality in one hit*
"i saw the truth of us, creator, and i decreed NO MORE"
remember this. those words are important
WTF I only noticed this now
Dalek Khan planned everything to destroy the daleks !
I still think the maddest thing about all this wonderful madness is that it was the No. 1 most-watched show on British television the week it went out.
The only reason it feels like an end for the show is because Russell T Davies who is in charge was leaving after series 4 and the specials were done and taking everyone with him basically. So it was basically closing the page on one era and getting ready for the next when Steven Moffatt takes charge for series 5 onwards
yeah but Steven moffat was the better writer (IMO) and matt was the better doctor and the better companions (ALL IN MY OPINION)
eleven what’s that got to do with anything? Is still doesn’t change anything I said, Russell and David we’re still leaving and so that’s why it felt like the end of this era....because it was
ObiWan Kenobi
And while it may have been in the cards at this point, the BBC considered just ending the show after Tennant and RTD left
Glad they didn’t or we wouldn’t have got some of the shows best moments later on
@@spacepenguins8939 Thank goodness they didn't end the show, or we wouldn't have gotten the objectively best episode of the show, Orphan 55 (closely followed by Love and Monsters, which is most deserving of a sequel in my opinion).
the guy with something oh absolutely
For a moment, Donna knew the doctor's name since everything he knows, she also knows. Too bad she didn't reveal before he wiped her brain.
oh shit didn't realize that.
bruh4real
So she would had known about the Doctor’s past, his children, the time war etc.
No wonder she couldn’t handle it.
It's Jeff
@@lukess.s no its Fred actually
Clara did too but I think we'd all rather forget that episode
Davros: *starts countdown to detonate the reality bomb*
5 mins later...
Davros: YOU ARE THE DESTROYER OF WORLDS!
yeah davros likes to dish it out but he can't take it hahaha
to be fair the doctor canonically has destroyed entire planets and races. like in rememberance of the daleks he destroyed skaro which i think warrants the daleks hatred for him. theres a reason hes called the butcher of skalmoon
@@electricpants8194 The Daleks destroyed Skaro in Remembrance, not the Doctor. Because of their own greed.
@@chocofrolik834 my bad then
Funny how in turn left Rose was the epic one and Donna was aside her and now donnas epic and she sees that rose is still a normal human being at heart. Especially at the ending
Tears down my face. Every single time I see it.
Same
Donna will definitely never be forgotten. She's a favorite companion, we can't forget her.
Dunno if anyone else mentioned this but there were 3 deleted scenes for this episode. They included:
1. The Doctor gives his clone a piece of "Tardis Coral" that would grow into a new Tardis, with Donna telling him how to speed up the growing process from thousands of years to within their lifetimes. The clone and Rose would be able to go on adventures in the parallel world. Russel Davies had said it is fine to assume this is canon.
2. Donna was going to hear the Tardis sound and have a brief look of recognition, but it was cut because it didn't make sense based on what The Doctor said.
3. Instead of ending with the Doctor alone in the Tardis, he would say his signature 3 whats as two Cybermen appeared behind him. It was cut because people thought it took away from the emotion of the previous scenes.
Interesting, I never knew this!
Davros is so hilarious in this episode.
Davros: Tries to destroy reality itself
Doctor: foils the plan like normal
Davros: You are the destroyer of worlds!
Bitch, you were trying to kill every single thing in every universe, chill
Lol
Donna has always been and always will be my favorite companion and this season will always be my favorite. Seeing everyone come back in this episode makes it one of the best. I just love everything about this episode and this season. :)
Your reaction End Of Time is gna be gold mannnn
Can't wait for the upload
It was lol
@@Lordoftheapes79 yup
Watching this now really makes me tear up at the end, with Wilf saying he'll look up at the sky thinking of the Doctor.
RIP Bernard Cribbins 💔
Donna is actually a pretty smart person, and she also got a very big heart. Her problem is not lack of intelligence or Wisdom, it is lack of self confidence. Most likely largely thanks to her mother
I can't wait for the reactions to Waters of Mars and End of Time
This was the end of showrunner Russell T Davies who brought the show back. The specials were produced to space out season 5 for the new showrunner that premiered nearly 2 years later.
I hate it when I find a great new (to me) reaction channel and catch up too quickly just to having to wait for next one again. I'm really enjoying your genuine reactions and emotions.
I’ve been looking forward to this all week!
My heart already can’t deal and I’ve not even clicked play yet
failwhale34 : ''You are not destroying entire reality; I have season 5 to get to.''
Season 5: ''Hold my beer.''
Season 13:Hold Mine Too
The worst bit wasn’t Donna forgetting about the doctor, but when she walked in that room and completely didn’t know who he was. It hurts
Davros is a classic Who villain. Since the 4th doctor
@Just Jay yes hello!
I cried when Nine left. I cried the first time Rose said Goodbye to the Doctor. I cried a few more times, too. But nothing made me cry as much as Donna's final moments. When she pleads with him not to make her go back, she destroyed my heart and ripped my soul. Even losing Ten did not hurt me as much as losing Donna. She started as my most hated character to my most beloved. And Catherine Tate... was... fantastic
And now she’s coming back in the Christmas special, I can’t wait!
Sarah Jane was there when Davros was introduced into the show in Genesis of the Daleks. If you see one story from the classics, that's a good one to see, not my personal favourite, but it's one of the most important
Genesis of the Daleks has gotta be the most famous episode from classic Who.
Yeah when this aired everyone knew there would be more series but it still felt like an ending because everyone knew that after the following specials the show runner would change which in the world of Dr Who is like an end of an era just because every time it happens the show completely changes too
The important thing to remember is Donna still has the person she became in her. Look at "Turn Left" and how strong she became on her own. Donna will not be the person she was while she was with the Doctor, but she can still be a better person than who she is at the moment we leave her here.
Genesis of the Daleks is considered by far to be the best story in Classic Who. So yes, you DO need to watch it ;)
Wouldn't hurt. And you need to meet The Scarfed One, FailWhale.
the buffer just dramablocked you in the most traumatic moment.
I mean it’s also a plus because he got time to process and realise the reality of what’s happening
I've watched this episode hundreds of times and every time I cry 😭 Also, fun fact, the Human Doctor was played by a guy who was a magician and just looked like David!
i think he was a musician. his name is colin but i can't remember the last name. i think he was just his fill in for a few episodes. what i always found funny is when they're both standing there facing rose ten too looks taller than tenny lol
@@lisaosborne8057 omg from watching the ep when it first came out to now i've always thought they said magician not musician 😂😂😂 lol! Yeah i think his name was Colum or somewhere along those lines
Make sure you watch the 5 special episodes set between S4 and 5 before jumping to S5 or you'll have no idea what's going on.
He did :)
He did and no point telling him now it’s too late he’s way far ahead he’s on season 6
@@allthingspaper3247 Ok I'm not physic to know he's that far ahead.
Sam Harrison why is everybody taking an attitude towards me I was just saying. Take a chill pill dude. Some people eh. It states on his channel where he is at btw and before you take an attitude towards me, I was only saying it’s on his channel so you know in future
@@ItsAv3rageGamer It always says in the descriptions and pinned comments where he's actually up to
just as the oods predicted... "doctor donna"
we are gettin close to the end of david tenant run (not a spoiler patreon failwhale is several seasons ahead of youtube failwhale)... i am excited for the "waters on mars" reaction that episode is amazing
SEASONS?!
@@TheMaitoPulla He's on S6E10. It always says in the descriptions where he's actually up to so you can know
It is not so much that Davros is petty, much more he is an insane mad scientist.
He also is petty, because winning the war against the Thals wasn't enough.
It wasn't Davros being petty, it was actually because the Daleks are so xenophobic and convinced of their own superiority that they felt only they should exist in the universe.
You thinking Tennant is going for another series is hilarious lol
Well, he’s half right. 🙂
Well, he’s not wrong. Does he know about the specials?
@@gryotharian watch to the end of the episode and you would've found out 😂
@@gryotharian he's on s6
Even Thanos with the gauntlet couldn't snap away as many people as the Daleks could have in this episode if they succeeded. Unlike the Gauntlet, the reality bomb isn't limited to it's own universe.
Daleks > MCU
This was definitely one one the best episodes ever, the contrast between this episode and any of season 11 😯
8:16 "what is he gonna do whitout his vehicle"
Look for the third doctor (Jon Pertwee) run... he was stranded on earth for almost his entire run
If anyone says is stupid having the doctor fully on earth i am going to venusian aikido your friggin face, the third doctor is awesome
IKEAAAAAAA!
"And I saw the truth of us Creator, and I decreed: *No More!*"
I love how much you love Rose! And her with the Doctor. And now her with the greatest gift the Doctor ever gave- a real partner! Someone to marry and grow old with and travel with. Ahhh, my heart! She's still my favorite companion.
You should see Davros’ origin in the classic series story Genesis of the Daleks.
One continuity error. Sarah Jane never actually met Davros.
Can’t wait for the reactions to the specials! This reaction had to much feels😥😆
can i just say that him believing there's another season of tennant is equivalent to donna thinking she could stay before getting her memories wiped 😂
I'm glad this is out today! Thanks for the reactions, I so wish I could donate via Patreon, when I can I will!
David Tennant is my favorite Doctor and Rose my favorite companion.❤️❤️❤️
You are such a lovely chap. ❤️ your enthusiastic Who love. Love from the 🇬🇧✌🏼️
Iv been binge watching your reactions. I'm loving it! You remind exactly how I felt when I first watched the show. I feel like I'm watching a show I love with a friend. Your amazing! 😊
Watching reactions is very new to me: it never before occurred to me that I could enjoy wathcing someone wtch something that I'd watched half a dozen times.
I've tried a few channels, but this one is my favourite for the unrestrained reactions. Helps me to repature a bit of what I felt the first time I watched these episodes
This story was shown 10 years before Avengers: Infinity War was released (one month after Iron Man).
The Cyberman convert people. And they see it as a nicety. As a way to survive and become better. Daleks are purists and detest mixing. They didn't even like the people from their own home planet.
I recommend watching Genesis of The Daleks and listening to Spare Parts. Both are wonderful origin stories for these two classic foes.
Great reaction. This episode hits you in the gut many times. Donna's ending kills me.
You are so beautifully involved and emotional, that's so great! I wish I'd watched the show at my first time side by side with someone like this ) Now I just HAVE to go and see how you reacted to Doomsday episode! ))
I feel like Jackie could have saved the woman, or at least one other person. We've seen that teleporter transit more than one individual before. What a cold move.
Been waiting so longgg for this! Wish I could afford your patreon😫much love from the UK bro can’t wait for next series
Thank you for the reaction! This episode fucks me up ... everyone driving the tardis gets me bursting with joy like ... possibly no other moment in this whole series, and fifteen minutes later I'm pacing the room thinking about Donna and Ten and am straight up Not Okay ... Doctor Who never forgets to stay silly but goddamn it keeps the sincerity and 200% through every moment of it and you don't realize how much it's gotten to you until all balls it all up for a full-body slam like this episode.
Not quite another season. They rested the show a little bit and Tennant did some Shakespeare in the theatre. The ‘Specials’ Season is coming up- 5 episodes: 3 singles and a 2 part finale.
Just digging all the commentary, man. There are so many reaction videos online now, but only you and maybe one or two others are able to talk about what you're seeing and feeling and giving your unique perspective. Tremendous.
The Doctor and Sarah Jane first met Davros in Genesis of the Daleks, and yes, you should watch it. It impacts future seasons, as well.
I love how the whole thing is Dalek Khans master plan, the DoctorDonna and everything
While it wasn't the end of the show, it was the end of the show-runner's run. (Well, this plus the next few specials...) It makes sense to wrap up all old story lines before someone else took over.

If you thought the Doctor's mood was foul after Rose...
3:18 Doctor: “All then, where were we?” Donna, Jack, and Rose with their faces saying, “What the hell?”!
Give it two months and the Doctor/Donna (and Russell) are back! 😁
it’s a shame tennant didn’t go another series but i seriously cannot wait for the reactions to the specials. the last three tennant episodes are such a rollercoaster
“well she’s cement now”
Two David Tennants? I can’t tell you what I’m thinking right now
If you ever want to watch a spinoff then, even though it is a kid's show Sarah Jane adventures is the best one in my opinion and in the opinion of most fans so watch it.
"In the opinion of most fans". Oh, _really?_ I suppose I don't qualify into the huge percentage of "most fans", then. Neither do three of my ex work colleagues and several other friends - we all seem to prefer Torchwood, so maybe your figures are a bit... well... pulled out of your backside. Don't make statements like that, or you run the risk of "most fans" disagreeing with you.
Paul Curran you sir must be the life of every party you attend
@@kazkilla1 I love parties and I'm normally very lively!
Sometimes, when I hear or read absurd things, I'll respond. Nothing wrong with that. I just don't appreciate it when people make sweeping statements, attributing their own opinion to an entire group, particularly if I belong to a part of that group.
Paul Curran ahh you live up to your name Paul Curran & there’s nothing wrong with that
@@weescotspaul Anecdotal evidence is bullshit. Sarah Jane is more highly rated than Torchwood. Torchwood series 1 is considered a mess, and series 4 is universally hated. SJA is consistently good throughout its entire run.
Dr Who info: Bernard Cribbins who plays Donna grandfather was in the first Dr Who Movie when Dr Who was played by Peter Cushing , Bernard played a young Policeman who went into the Police box to phone the Station to report something sorry I can't remember ....
32:32 WE'RE GOING TENANT AGAIN!!!
You love to see it. It did feel exactly like a victory lap. XD
Absolutely this was a send-off for Russel and David's tenure, but the show as a whole? A 6th of the UK tuned in to this episode. No way they were cancelling it again so soon.
Not sure if you were aware, but there is an extra scene that they released regarding bad wolf bay, it has a slightly longer conversation on the beach, you might want to check it out.
Deleted scenes show The Doctor giving the meta-crises Doctor a TARDIS seed with accelerated growth speed. So in that universe, The Doctor and Rose Tyler are back in the TARDIS, next stop everywhere!
I guess the best part about this episode was that in a deleted scene The Doctor gave the metacrisis Doctor a piece of the TARDIS so they can still travel across the universe once the piece grows
I wonder if there aren't Doctors in parallel universes already
@@franl155 I mean possibly I mean we know one of the early doctors visited another universe so it’s possible but we know only this one where Rose and the Metacrisis Doctor was had a TARDIS and a Doctor there
So this is where you need to watch torchwood so you would know what happens to Mickey when he comes back to earth.
Wow. so both Dalek and Doctor came to the conclusion of "No More" at one point. Damn you RTD and your gorgeous plot arcs.
Davros is the last Kaled (the race from which the Daleks came). He created the Daleks to be the perfect soldier during a civil war on his home planet of Skaro. The war was so bad that only Davros and his Daleks survived.
you really need to watch Genesis of the Daleks, fourth doctor, many consider this one of the best stories of all of classic who, with one of the greatest doctors of all time! But the daleks themselves have been there right from the beginning, in fact the second story, first doctor was called the daleks! But Davros has been there since 4, and 4 5 and 7 have dealt with him. (dont remember him meeting 6 but I wouldnt be surprised!)
Only two words come to mind before watching, LET'S GO !
Nobody ever seems to talk about how in the Bad Wolf Bay scene, the costumes tell you everything. Rose and the Human Doctor are wearing blue jackets/trousers with a burgundy tshirt underneath while the Prime Doctor and Donna are both wearing brown. The pairs are right there.
Also... That look back, you can see sadness on Donna's face because she has every bit of the Doctor's memory. She knows how he feels about Rose, and she knows how much it's killing him to walk away...
@@MANB91UK I never noticed that, but damn you're right. In fact, if she had ALL of his memories, she was just as hurt to leave as The Doctor.
I am still not over this ending for Donna. Never will be. But will hope it will be fixed because never say never.
They tease no David Tennant then give you two of him. lol
33:54 he’s the valeyard tho (the evil doctor)
Everything up to the return to Bad Wolf Bay would have made a great series finale. But my heart wouldn't handle all that happened after being the last of the series. Thankfully, there's more to come.
Watching you get emotional over Donna got to me. She is my top favorite companion. I wished we had more seasons of her and the Doctor traveling together. They were quite the dream team.
This is a pretty great finale for Russell T Davies' run as showrunner. Emotional finale, wraps up nearly all the outstanding plot threads, and leaves a clean slate for the next executive prod--*listens to earpiece* I've just been informed circumstances have forced him to be showrunner for another year.
31:49 - birth of a meme
I cry everytime! Love Donna!
16:04 If you still haven't seen those episodes: "Genesis of the Daleks" - I'd highly recommend it.
Without spoiling anything: the following year there were 4 episodes spread out across a year.
Love this episode.
And love the Christmas Special after this a lot too. Hope you enjoy it!
My god, watching ur reaction to this made me even more emotional than ever. XD
This is why Davies is one of the best show runners for Who period. SO glad that he has come back to Doctor Who, I can try and start watching again.
I loved watching your enjoyment and reaction to this series/season. I loved Donna's arc as well. Seeing every around the TARDIS console was joyous. 👏👍❤️😎
Donna is special and Brilliant! She's got the skills, bro!
You gotta go back to the 70s to truly know who Davros is.
Such a bitter sweet episode.
just watching this cut down version I was bawling by the end
