hey failwhale im just saying if you want to start a big finish audio drama series start with either classic doctors new monsters where classic doctors face monsters from new who or the tenth doctor adventures where ten goes on adventures with either donna or rose depending on which volume it is because donna is volumes 1 and 3 and rose is 2 and 10 is the only doctor from new who to have an audio series so if you want to start it do it with either fallen angels (classic doctors new monsters volume 1 ) where 5th doctor meets the weeping angels or technophobia (the tenth doctor adventures volume 1) when the Doctor and Donna visit London's Technology Museum for a glimpse into the future, things don't go to plan.

The "all 13" was Peter Capaldi's first time on screen as the Doctor. At that point in time, we all knew he was to be the next Doctor, but nothing else about his character.
2 unfortunate things: 1. He put on an English accent for this scene, but then was very scottish during his run. 2. I was expecting an episode, possibly a special, during Capaldi's run when he realises there was an error in the calculation for hiding Gallifrey and that is why he showed up. Sadly it was never addressed by so much as a comment.
Mobley House Video the general is the bald guy right? Because well the voice is heard saying “no sir!” It shows him so it wasn’t him saying it it was 12. Also he said the line before it which would mean he contradicted himself.
@@LukeTheGeek, no, it was at other guy with the general in the room, clearly. We here this guy talk in the episode before and it's clearly the same voice. Capaldi has talked about this scene too in the past and never mentions having lines. Just them recording his eyes.

I love how they interconnect different doctors and arcs and seasons and make them all feel connected while also giving you that wonder and amazement at "wait yeah its time travel you could encounter someone you upset in your own future a long time before you meet them yourself."
"All twelve of them!" *"No sir. . . **_All thirteen!"_* This was shown in selected theatres through Fathom Events just before it aired on TV. I was fortunate enough to see it that way. There really is nothing like having an audience around you that is just as excited as you are.
Hell, here in Australia, most of the screenings were a few hours after the simulcast (which was at 6:50 am on Sunday morning for Australian Eastern Daylight Time), and the theaters were still hyped. And the lobby of the theater was filled to levels unseen outside of major blockbuster premiers.
9:44 Those scenes with Tennant, Queen Elizabeth and the Zygon were recorded in a field behind my house. The ruined tower was built as a mockup of a medieval castle in the 1780s, by a local businessman who used it for dances and banquets. I believe the BBC also used the woodland nearby, which also once belonged to the tower's owner, for the scene where the three Doctors first meet.
"This is a movie" - this was filmed in 3D, and was shown in selected theatres simultaneous with its worldwide broadcast. You can see that the 3D audiences got their money's worth.
@Graham, King of the Britons! Oh yeah, because the production budget here was clearly sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo low. (that was sarcasm by the way)
9:00 Just skipped ahead to the 10 reveal and you did not disappoint, lmao. Especially because, unlike us, you didn’t know he was coming back. It’s why I love reaction channels so much.
I will forever be in awe of Matt's acting when he discovers the full true name of the painting. Phenomenal
Yes, Tom Baker was My Doctor, since I started watching on PBS in 1980. I met him at a DW convention in 1982 and even kissed him on the cheek (with his permission, of course). I heard his voice when this was first broadcast, recognized it immediately, and nearly fell off my couch in shock. For not playing the Doctor in over 30 years, he slipped right back into character!
I had the great pleasure of meeting Christopher Eccleston at Galaxy Con in my state. He was so kind and just a joy to listen to. Hearing him talk about his time on the show was wonderful. When asked who was his scariest enemy, he chose the boy in The Empty Child episode.
You missed the significance of the beginning. The sign the police was walking next to is a mirror of the opening scene of the very first episode. Wow...I forgot the line from this at the end, "I'm going home. The long way round." That's the line 12 says after he punches his way out of the mind prison. Dope!

If you work with the idea they blocked war out of their memory, 8 is STILL at least a 1000 years old. Making 11 1400, I suppose 1200 isnt that far off!!
I've been rewatching DW as well as your reaction videos and it honestly feels like I've had a friend to watch it with! Your reactions are so RAW and REAL. This was super fun!!
You will love the next Doctor.. ^^ "No Sir, all 13" and you see the bushy eyebrows,, 9, 10, 11 had their moments and stuff, BUT Peter Capaldi IS the MOMENT, in all his scenes !!!
Your original unedited reaction to DOTD is stored on my Tablet. It's the only video I have on it - but it always cheers me up. It's basically every Failwhale trademark (humour;complete surprise;delight;spectacularly inaccurate prediction;writers room) in one handy vid :D
If you remember, 9th when he goes to Rose's house, he says: Could have been worse, look at the ears. So, imo, he didn't even look at his face until that point. Like 9th says he's 900 years old. And 8th said he's 800 or something. So he didn't look at himself for 100 fucking years. Ffs
There’s a theory that between Rose saying no to his offer to travel with him and the TARDIS rematerialising and 9 telling her that it travels in time, the doctor actually had like 100 years there before deciding he needed a new companion. (He doesn’t tell Rose his age until episode 2). So ROSE took place not long after this but the ending was 100 years later from the doctors perspective. Idk what to think about this myself but I just thought I’d share it with you :)
This reaction was so worth the wait! This is an episode I will never forget and it's so cool seeing you react to it as well. I stg I cry every time I see it 😂
5:36 - just before that scene, remember what 10 said to the Cult of Skaro (David's Doctor): "I was there at the fall of Arcadia .. Someday i might even come to terms with that"

I've been rewatching DW as well as your reaction videos and it honestly feels like I've had a friend to watch it with! Your reactions are so RAW and REAL. This was super fun!!
Yes you FIANALLY reacted to the day of the doctor
"yall told me the rtd era is over"
rtd: "hold my screwdriver"
As an English las I can confirm your accent was not the worst I’ve seen, it was genuinely pretty good
Seeing this played in an actual theatre was like one of the best things ever
You will love the next Doctor.. ^^ "No Sir, all 13" and you see the bushy eyebrows,, 9, 10, 11 had their moments and stuff, BUT Peter Capaldi IS the MOMENT, in all his scenes !!!
Your original unedited reaction to DOTD is stored on my Tablet. It's the only video I have on it - but it always cheers me up. It's basically every Failwhale trademark (humour;complete surprise;delight;spectacularly inaccurate prediction;writers room) in one handy vid :D
The day of the doctor always gives us the purest reactions!
Lol I watched this when it came out on patreon and I totally do not remember this epic intro. AMAZING INTRO, I don't know how I missed it!
The intro was worth it mate it shows your appreciation so thank you.
I forgot how good this shit is. Recent Who has disappointed me HUGELY. This drew tears from me, man..
This reaction was so worth the wait! This is an episode I will never forget and it's so cool seeing you react to it as well. I stg I cry every time I see it 😂
Damn man. Even watching a reaction causes tears to stream down my face.
5:36 - just before that scene, remember what 10 said to the Cult of Skaro (David's Doctor): "I was there at the fall of Arcadia .. Someday i might even come to terms with that"
That "sonic screwdriver" you have there does seem to work on wood...
And screws also
It's funny how blown your mind is by this. For us DW fans, seeing 3 Doctors working together is something that goes back 40 years before this episode.
That intro was, as the kids say, “totes adorb”.
Stoked they worked 12 into the sequence as well!
My favourite episode is the crimson tide. Because it is based on a real place. Sweetsvill is based on Saltaire in Bradford West Yorkshire England. Built by sir Titus Salt he was a mill owner Built a large village. Housing for his work force plus shops schools . I am from Bradford.
i heard the voice of the curator and i screamed! soooo happy they were able to surprise us fans with #4 also. it was such a joy to see him.
Who noticed that in the piece leading up to "No sir, all thirteen", the Tom Baker clip had no dialog?
His neighbours are like "so that's why they don't let him out of his room" 😂
Yesssss! I'm ready! I've been waiting all weekend for this!
Your reaction to Bad Wolf Girl was my absolute favorite, I've gotta say. It was perfect!
“It’s getting moist in here” is the new catchphrase
I knew you would LOSE YOUR MIND at this episode lmao
Can we take a moment to just stop and appreciate that intro? Loved it.
I was LITERALLY waiting for the moment you saw Rose. LoL. :D
"Let's go! Slitheen where you at?" 😂😂😂
This is gold. Really glad it showed up in my recommended.
The one episode we couldn’t put you in the writers room, because it was so unpredictable and amazingly brilliant. Here’s to the next 50 years 🎉
Over 56 years now you’re a bit late for 50 years mate
i remember watching this in 3D in theatre's when it came out! the image of 10 entered and the whole theatre screamed! sdxcfvgbhn
