If you like a breakfast you have to see breakfasts having Turkish. Then you'll say I didn't have breakfast until now. For example:

Thanks a lot for your work and for this video. I used to read Olya's Expresso before the war started. But since i live in Ukraine we have a lot of must-watch news here and it became too difficult for me keep up to date with world news. By the way, can we call this thing "a digest", like сводка? Or there is a better word for this?

I totally forgot about the word 'digest'! Yes, I guess it would fit, although Olya's newsletter is much more than a digest - there's also stories and music and memes... But yeah, it's generally a nice word to talk about newsletters with news :)
I can totally understand! I'm not from Ukraine, but after the war started I actually didn't read Olya's newsletter for a few months, because I was feeling so overwhelmed with news from other sources that were about Ukraine only.

@@innainenglish They discuss the war metaphor in everyday language. Phrase like "defending your point" or "winning an argument" reflect this metaphor. This framing affects how we perceive interactions, encouraging a combative mindset rather than one of collaboration.
You mentioned war rhetoric, which inspired my question about the book. It's an important topic, and I'm glad you brought it up. 👍🤝
