Write something 5 minutes each day is really helpful 👋
Yes! Great advice
But what exactly can i write about? On what kind of topics..this really confuses me
@@violetvelkov I usually write about weather 😅
Reading books in english when you already have a good level is amazing to learn new vocabulary too❤
Yeah! Totally agree 👍🏻❤️
Hi what books pls write ❤
Now I'm intensively learning English by immersion. My first language is Armenian, second is Russian, and the third is English ( forth is becoming Spanish 😂). After many tries with traditional learning technics, I've decided to learn by immersion ( like I've learned Russian passively), and use traditional methods just as additional tools to accelerate my learning process.
For example, I just created new youtube account with only English/Spanish content ( I don't use my Russian-Armenian channel anymore ), I read books, listen podcasts, use flash cards, watch movies, etc... In the very start time it will be hard, but with each practice it will become easier and easier. Even this text... Its not grammatically correct, I haven't rich vocabulary yet, but compared with my English level 3 month ago, its huge improvement, I can't explain you how huge is my progress ))
I even started to learn Spanish as an another way to use English 😂 Also my Spanish level motivates me sometimes, because compared to Spanish I'm god on English 😂
Lifehack: Are you struggling with your third language ? Start learning forth one 🤟
Motivation is a temporary and not stable thing. On other hand with consistency, patience and sometimes with little bit willpower you will succeed.
I suppose your English level is high yet. How long have you been lerning that language ?
Man, you have a perfect English. Now, you’ve motivated me to create a new you tube account

Excelentes consejos. Entonces yo también voy a intentar comenzar mi cuarto idioma. Felicitaciones, vas por muy buen camino. ¡Sigue adelante!. 👍👍
Language was never a barrier as long as you are able to convey the message
I started to really learn english when I was 27 yo, after I have finished my law degrees and becamed a lawyer in brazil. I have allways had contact with english through music and videogames, but just started to really learn it when I decided to study it in daily basis, by my self, using internet. Now I am 32 yo and I have watched a lot of movies and series to keep in contact with the language, I am reading some books too.
What's ur level
I am from brazil too, how is your english nowadays?
it's become, becamed doesn't exist. I'm learning too. through inmersion reading books, manga, series, and consuming this type of videos in youtube. also applying shadowing and other strategies, to improve my speaking which i think is the most difficult one to master since i'm a shy person to speak with others i'ts a little dificult for me.
Thank you for sharing your experience! I´ve been a teacher for quite a bit and I do understand how is to feel "stuck" at some English level, in my case B2... This video has given me the confidence I need to keep going and achieve C1.
Thank you!
Having a good teacher is highly beneficial, I agree! I'm very grateful to my teacher even for my love for languages ❤
totally agree!
here is my ways to improving English, which I use every day:
- reading posts and writing comments in english on Reddit
- learning new words on Words Up app
- reading books in English (outloud when it possible) in 2Books app
- watching a lot of videos of english speaking bloggers on UA-cam and shadowing (repeating after them outloud)
- learning grammar with Essential Grammar in Use by R. Murphy
my next step will be taking the course for teaching English as a second language (TESOL)
would you mind me asking did you take any courses or not? do you have a teacher degree?
Nice! Thank you for sharing!
This is exactly what i do...till now i guess learners should practice a lot ❤it's take time yet the result will be so satisfying 🎉
hey, can you tell where i can find this app, please ? i’d like to try but i’m not sure, there are lots of app with this name “words up”, thanks!
@@anttif. it's WordUp, I misspelled it. and it's logo is purple with small light purple and blue squares. I downloaded it from Google Play. sorry, can't share the link, the comment gets deleted :(
@@moonlight19720 thanks a lot!
My story in a spanish spoken country:
I studied in public elementary and high school; therefore, I was not billingual when I was 17.
Although I got some general grammar basics.
From 21 to 23, I enrolled at an English Conversational program every Saturday in an institute, I loved it. Then, I went to college but didn't practice that English.
At 30 I joined again other institute, but I quit because I got bored studying again the same grammar. At age 31 I entered another institute some months and the major told me if I wanted to teach, I accepted but only for 8 months just on Satuday mornings. Some years later, at age 37, as a professional, I decided to go to college and to enrolle in English Teaching Major (this was the only way to become really billingual) and graduated this year. It was a long journey in my case, but I am satisfied now that I know I'm B2+. Best.
I really appreciate your story good for you
Wow!! Congratulations...☺that is my dream...get an oportunity like yours, because I love to teach, and I have a B2 level...and I need a job 😁.
Yes practicing is very important otherwise it wont be possible.Thank you for perfect suggestions it motivates us.
Thank You Karina. I started to re learning, sometimes I felt lost. Thanks again for your approach
Great job thank you i love it
I had the same problem with yours and I totally agree with you. "Speaking is a physical activity, just knowing English isn't enough. We must speak it. "
💯
Thank for the advices
really valuable tips
Thanks

A very useful video 😊
Many thanks for this video I learned a lot ❤
I understood the whole video whitout subtitles, thank u for the video :)
Nice 🔥🔥🔥
Great video! I'm still learning and english has helped me a lot, and i got many benefits from it.
Glad to hear that)
Good video. I think the most important tip is simply to talk, even if just to yourself in imagined conversations. Because literally everyone understands English, but once they need to talk most people just aren't comfortable cause they aren't used to it. So practice, cause practice makes perfect.
oh and learn all the connector words like: because, however, although etc. Helps getting actual conversations and not just singular sentences
Yeah! 100% true!)
Nice work. Go on...
Thank you Karina. Your recomendations are very well. My goal is get C1 level of English. I know that I have to try hard and that's why I do not cold turkey practicing my English😁
Nice Video, Karina! The way you to talk in english is very natural and clear. Congratulations!
I think this video is soo interesting for those who meet many obstacles to learn any language ..from my own point of view anyone can learn english easily especially the rules are so easy to memorise it . but the only problem that most ppl find difficulties when they speaking it in front of others sometimes we made mistakes and ofcrs there are soo many rude people that can make fun of your mistake that's one of the reasons that can make anyone feels bad bcz i know that feeling so in my opinion the perfect way to develop our skills and at the same time to be fluent in any language is to speak to native speakers and also we can easily watch videos with subtitles for ex in english ..etc .....and thank uuu for giving me or us many ideas how we can learn any language ❤
So nice
Thanks
I started my English studies when I was 47 or 48 at the same time with pandemic, but it wasn't enough, nevertheless I have been practicing on my own, UA-cam is a great tool and always I'm learning making mistakes but I don't mind, is not big deal. Finally the most important thing is learning over and over because I don't want to quit. 😅
Thanks a lot 🥰
Subscribed immediately! Wish you great success !! I’m sure that you’ll do excellent videos!!

Thanks Karina,love your video !!
Great video! I have learned English and Spanish on my own.
nice!!!
Congratulations Karina. Greetings from Costa Rica.
Nice video!!! My experience is similar to yours cause I'm an English teacher. I started learning after High School till I reached B2 level in a Hispanic country then I took The FCE and started teaching then I got certified for teaching through the British council and got the ICELT certificate, then I made a big move and moved to the states, pun not intended, after moving to the states I was shock to find out that advanced classes were not that advanced so I decided to take pronunciation classes in a college and after that I decided to take a High School test in English to improve my Language and have it validated through a valid Diploma now I'm taking lessons through the British council app cause I took their score test app and placed me in C1 so I want to get it certified.
Hi, I'm a teacher too! Can you tell me more about this app? (The British council is a Cambridge test, right?) Did you get a certificate for that test in the end? I'd like to try it out if it works!
I hope you create more videos like this one! Thanks for this! 😁

The best way to enhace your vocabulary and become fluent in english is to immerse yourself by the language make english a priority in your life
Shadowing is also a great method to improve speaking skills so the key to success is practise
totally agree!
Hi nice post
In my personal case, I've been living in Ireland in total for 2 years, at the begining I took some courses, and now I keep learning by myself, watching videos and learning new words, now I'm close to C1 level, but even so, some people here I can't understand at all, but I notice that happens because here some people speak a shitty english, without good pronunciation, so the problem is not me, just with a bit higher level, I'll be very well, cheers and very good video.
Thank you! Wish you good luck in improving your English😉
@@karinasanduyan Thank you! You look so nice!
I HAVE ALREADY REACHED C1 LEVEL AND I AM AN ENG TEACHER ,BUT I AM SO HAPPY TO FIND YOUR CHANNEL.......I AM LEARNING MORE FROM YOUR VDS .KEEP GOING DEAR

I literally studied english only for A year, then i took some tests on the internet, and i got B2 intermediate and C1 Advanced, with one year of english. I am quite impressed with myself.
You alright good for you
I was thinking it is difficult but now i have youtube channel by English language
My first language is arabic
I'm starting practice with some podcast, the topics that i like it are more easy to understand.
Then i practice with the vocabulary i've learned.
Nice! 👍🏻

Well karina most of us, learn english as 3rd or 4th language. But all we need to do, practice.
