    Hello Keven. The more videos I discover of his, the more I admire him. I try to model their carvings but the white pine from Spain is harder than what they have in the USA. However I keep trying. Greetings. Santander, Spain

    How inspiring you are. Thanks. Makes me want to try "free hand" carving (whittling). I have always carved using a carvers vice and mallet. I intend to free up and enjoy myself trying something new.

    Most carvers cut in one scrole but i coudn't manage too so it's good to see that i am using the same technique as a master carver , cheers Billy H. UK.🌞

    Question on the wood is it White pine ? As that has been mentioned as suitable for flat plane / whittling but not sure how to tell it apart from the C3 studding timber at our local diy supply store ... Great work regardless you are a gifted carver.

    При склеивании слишком много клея нанёс, достаточно с одной стороны только намазать ну или если с двух сторон то по немногу..для чего такой перерасход клея.??

      It’s eastern white pine. It’s pretty soft but there are some pines that are hard to work with.

      Well as a woodworker for 30 years, I can tell you you are doing more damage than good. But that’s just my opinion.

      The raised fibers created by scratching the wood actually prevent the two pieces from adhering as well as they would if they were left smooth. You want full contact and the raised fibers prevent that.
