I have been a clay sculptor for 20 years and started wood carving during the pandemic to do something positive/fun. Thank you so much for this super informative and helpful video! I really appreciate all the details about carving the eyes!

I am new to this site. I'm preparing to spend the weekend binge watching. I am inspired by all I've seen. I don't have any tools or materials yet, but it seems like it takes very little to start. Thank you for posting this! Blessings, Health, Prosperity and Peace to you and yours and to all who read this! 😘👍😇💖

Definitely, as many demos ! Love to see a master's techniques ,and the way they hold and use their tools ,that is much more helpful than talking about it !

Hey guys. Im a 31 year old from the ukwho started out 12 months ago, carving is rarely spoken about over here so the instructional vlogs are brilliant. Tools are even hard to come buy, i only really seem to find flexcut blades.

I'm a newbie carver and have learnt so much from Jim's presentation.
I would like to see carving tutorials in preference to discussion. Thank-you.

Well sure we like to see the whole carve, that's what we're here to see is the carving of what you're doing and it's entirety, and maybe the painting as well

Be quite honest I don't know why you keep switching from carving to carving. But that is annoying to me so maybe you can fix that later videos if you see this or read this. But that's switching carbon a carving is not working for me. Like you work good video later
