I used to do my Gonks like The Tiny Turner but I found it is easier to turn the body and the hat all in one piece of timber.

Had to come back for the end. Well worth it. Crammed in all the techniques in the book nearly, I especialliy liked the beading/captive ring trick at the end. Now my guys won't have wonky horns. Great stream guys, just sorry i couldn't stick around.

Fantastic video... I've ordered some 'beards' from the Tiny Turner and looking forward to using some of the smaller blocks of wood that I wasn't sure of a use for!

Nice one. Did you apply glue to the nose. If so how did you keep the glue off the fabric? The nose is liable to be pulled by a child, could choke them and that's why I glue the nose first and fit the beard round it.

Hi Crackerjack, Colwin says: "When glueing on the fur make sure you add glue to the nose hole at this point, however, I would not treat these as a toy as the fur can be pulled off and eaten and finishes will also need to be toy safe." Hope this helps :)
