    About the end bit: That was at a Sinclair gas station. They all have those big dinosaurs in the parking lot. I couldn't resist. People were looking at me funny. I looked back at them even funnier.

      i know im very late but i have a 5.8 inch wrist because im only 14 i was wondering if the typical seiko 5 could fit me

  • @thezapsback
    @thezapsback 7 років тому +47

    Just a little advice from my experience: in order to make it more comfortable for your wrist, it's better to size the bracelet asymmetrically. if you shorten downside of the bracelet more than upper side, the clasp will fit much better. if you want to remove total 4 links, better to pick 3 down-1 up than 2-2. Take care! :)

    • @minitwatch
      @minitwatch  7 років тому +14

      Doing it the way you've described is exactly how I don't like it :p That is how it is most uncomfortable to me! lol. Everyone's different! I like my clasp right in the middle of the bottom of my wrist.

    You're a legend, I've been losing weight for months and my watch being loose has been annoying the hell out of me, and I kept forgetting to get it adjusted. Then one day I randomly looked this video up while walking past the computer, found something on the desk and fixed my watch. Literally life changing.

    I already know how to do this and I still watch the entire video just because I know you'll make me laugh. "at least assistant manager" in fine print, for example! Or bracelet links being passive aggressive, lol! (And thanks for not editing out the hiccups!)

    Hey thanks.
    I just received my brand new Seiko 5 automatic about half an hour ago.
    I had to remove 5 links and thanks to your terrific video I got it done with only a little bloodshed.
    I gouged my index finger with the teeny tiny little screwdriver that I used to fulcrum the link thingy out.
    The bleeding has stopped for now.

    Edit : Nvm figured it out, I wasn't putting the L bracket between the hook part of the link, which is where it holds it together, it works now :)
