My 6 year old started playing and fell in love. His love perked my interest and I started playing wheelchair lacrosse (I’m an amputee) this past summer. Lacrosse changed my life. This sport is for any and all, truly a gift from on high.
Holy smokes this just got recommended to me by the algorithm and I am blown away that you are a small channel. The quality of this world was 100x greater than what your sub count says, 11/10 video man.
Well done. As a Canadian hockey and lacrosse were in my hands growing up. PLL is going to be the benchmark to get this sport where it needs to be. I can't wait to watch it come to fruition.
Same here, man. Can’t wait for the day that lacrosse players can make a comfortable living. And I really hope that all this hype carries over to the NLL too!
Every lacrosse player I have ever met has been more driven and has had more passion for the sport of lacrosse then any other sport I have seen. Keep growing the game! ♥️
I grew up in Maryland my entire life and knew of the sport, but never paid much attention to it. my oldest kids plays the game and it very easy to see why its so beloved by everyone that plays. great video man.
Very much appreciated! As someone that’s from Western Canada, it’s still wild to me how far this documentary has been able to reach. Thank you for watching, truly
Yuuuuup. At least we have the paid subscriptions…but the NLL needs a TV deal. The PLL has a pretty good deal with NBC, but it’s still tough to navigate if you’re not in America
I think they need to market better and expand the season. As the sport grows in participation, we should see an 18 game season and a 12 club league in the next 10 years, but the outdoor game doesn't look like it will make it at this rate. Last years title game drew less than half the capacity of Audi Field. It's definitely not looking very good.
I've been absolutely enthralled by the PLL 2022 season, watching it all on espn+. I literally count the hours before the next set of games start each week. I've been a huge fan of lacrosse throughout my life and a former player in high school. But I've never seen anything like what I've been witnessing this summer. It's just the complete package. If they keep this up, lacrosse is going to go major. I believe that.
MAN thank you so much! It’s honestly kind of overwhelming how much positive feedback there’s been haha. But if people enjoy it, I’ll gladly keep making more.
Wow, this was a real banger of a video. You always know a video is great when there are credits at the end. Keep up the good work and greetings from Germany.
this is absolutely brilliant work. as someone currently studying media production looking to get into the lacrosse world this is an absolute class production.
Well done Tino, I always wondered this playing as a kid from tyke to sr draft. The sport is something I wish I could have played forever, now its my kids turn.
@@MrTinoFera I played hockey at 5&6, terrible skater so much so my coach had to carry me across the ice between periods. I switched to lax goal and 14 years of great times!
Love it. I play in Korea and feel how lacrosse is isolated from the society. I ride the bus with my equipments just to make sure people ask me what sport this is. Even though korea lacrosse isn’t developed and skillful as America the people I know who play lacrosse love it and dreams it to be globalized.
Wow! I can't believe this reached someone in Korea! I would love to see more people from across the world get the opportunity to play professionally in North America. I was really hoping that we'd see Koichi Nakamura get drafted to the NLL last week, but it didn't happen unfortunately. Keep grinding man!
Canada’s national summer sport is lacrosse. Canada’s ONLY official national sport for many years WAS lacrosse. Hockey did not become Canada’s national “winter” sport until 1994.
OMG...this was awesome. And now with TSN and the NLL deal. One of those obstacles is out of the way. The Hidden Gem...a great way to describe this sport. Great work Tino , and all.
This video is so fucking good i dont know how such a well made and such a good video only has 8000 views this video needs a lot more recognition than it gets keep up the good work man
I’m someone who has always been a huge hockey guy and will remain so. But I’ve never really paid attention to lacrosse until this year. Thanks to the PLL and Paul Rabil that is. I had gone to a random NLL game like 6 years ago but didn’t really get into it. I have a new interest and new respect for Lacrosse as a sport and recognize how impressive of a sport it is. It’s similar to my favorite sport of hockey but yet different and fascinating. I live in a state that’s not traditionally known for Lacrosse. So I will be rooting for the GA swarm and Carolina Chaos.
If the PLL and or NLL could get their All-Star or Championship game in a prime time hour even during the week for free and really hype it up, The sport would go to the next leave. I got hooked 25+ years ago when i stumble on the 1998 USA vs Canada game. Still to me, one of the greatest games in the sports history.
The PLL has generated a lot of momentum for the sport recently, so I'm really hoping that the NLL can build off of that with their new TV deal and get it in front of more eyes. I appreciate you watching this!
I recall Paul Rabil doing a TV interview in which he said something to the effect of, the MLS did all the heavy lifting in terms of creating venues that the PLL would be interested in playing at, and you'd figure that, as with the concerts/outdoor-fair-type events held at those MLS stadia some weekends that their team is on the road, lacrosse could be ONE of those events, whether a PLL weekend or NCAA playoffs, that would be a mainstay of non-MLS game weekends at those stadia.
PLL championships was on ABC on a SUNDAY opposite NFL games. Championship should have been played on a Friday or Wednesday night OR before the NFL season started. Also need to not start the PLL until AFTER the NLL season is done. Water Dogs goalie, and 1/2 of Chaos roster were playing in the NLL championship and missed the start of the PLL season.
If pll is smart they'd capitalize on a market in England. They're getting better and better and yet lack a significant amount of favor from their governing body. They've done tours in Japan and that's good. Thats putting the tour based model to solid use, but they need to increase their international footprint. Besides, England has a rich lacrosse history dating back to the 17th century when the queen of England made a diplomatic trip and saw the natives play it and she wanted to put her own team together despite the overwhelming possibility of getting destroyed.
0:06 Couldn't have picked a baseball play that actually had some class and professionalism? All kidding aside... Any time someone asks me what lacrosse it like I tell them it is like hockey but you pretty much have to draw blood to get a penalty mixed with the speed of basketball and wrapped up in a live DJ...
The PLL has become a cult and Paul Rabil has become the most unlikable person in lacrosse. Neither of those things were true when I released this documentary three years ago
This is every lacrosse players dream, to be a big sport
Yup, that’s all I would dream about when I was a kid
Nlls on TSN now!!!! One step at a time
This video is a hidden gem lmao
THANK YOU!

Great job Tino! My son Troy loved it and recognized you right away. You were an inspiring coach for Troy. Keep up the great work!!! Make a movie brah!
I appreciate that Steve! I always loved our interactions, and coaching Troy was a legitimate pleasure

I appreciate that, Phil. Thank you!
I really wish that lacrosse was in the same level as the NHL or NFL

lacrosse has taken a huge leap after the pll espn deal. im super excited to see what happens next
That goal by Callum Crawford is down right dirty!!
Don’t forget about us when you make it to 1mil + subs!!

How do we get non-lacrosse fans interested in the game?

This vid went so deep
Hope you enjoyed!

Everyone calling Kyle Harrison a foot fairy lololol
The PLL jerseys literally looks like Soccer Jerseys hopefully the PLL makes Better Jerseys.
Agreeed
Its even harder to watch games if you aren’t from Canada or the US, I’m Australian and haven’t been able to see ANY NLL games during the 23/24 season.
NLL is better than PLL
The one dislike is a baseball kid
I was thinking the same thing lmao
Ya lacrosse is such a small sport but it’s one of the most fun in my opinion
The Thompson brothers mic drop
This may be trivial but Basketball was created in the US by a Canadian.
