Nice run David! From the forums I read that 11X8 is right in the sweet spot. Sorry about the HS needle , when I ran it it was attached to my stand. I installed it on the back plate for shipping and thought it would make it easier for the run. I guess I didn't torque it down enough.
I have 4x Jett engines and they’re the only engines I’ve ever owned that actually hit the advertised rpms. Incredibly powerful, very high compression and respond really well to a tuned pipe. Thanks for sharing David!
That's quite a screamer, 15,110 rpm. Admittedly it's a small prop for any 90-size engine, but that throttle response, stunning. Looks like Jett engines are quite something too, wasn't hard to tune, great run, great video!
Looks like a powerful engine. To turn an 11x8 prop to more than 15000 rpm probably more than 2kw would be necessary. Would that fit to the data given with this engine? It's running really smooth. Never saw it running before. Thanks for sharing.

What a power house for that engine great runner
Loving the sound of this engine!
Good sounding engine!
15,000 rpm on a 15 inch prop is really good. The Dub Jett site calls out an 11x8 at 15K. Smokin!
Thats a really hot engine, wow!
Always wanted a Jett engine.
thats a little power house. i never owned any of those. it loves that 11x8 prop.
APC 11x8 @ 15,110 rpm - Per calc 2.84 hp
Nice little screamer!!

According to APC's technical data for the 11x8 prop, required are 2,252hp for 15,000 rpm.
Ok, I need one right now 😂😂
What about fuel comsumption?
