Follow him down into the Worldstone Room. Now all you have to do is kill him. 01:06-01:08 Before following him it is recommended you open n^ TP back to town, refresh your Potions if you need to, and purchase a bunch more for the upcoming fight with Baal. He has abilities that will drain your Mana so it's recommended you stock up on enough Potions to be prepared for that. 01:08 Barbarians use leap. 01:08-01:14 Hoarfrost: This is the V shape blue wave that Baal shoots out that knocks you back. It will stun you when it hits you and damages you multiple times while pushing you back; this ability travels very far across the ground and usually doesn't stop until it hits a solid object. Out of all Baal's abilities, this is probably his most annoying. 01:10 Note the float and the sleeves for the Necromancer, the Paladin, and the Amazon. Get as close as you can to the monster in question, so you will be able to be the first one picking up (most of the time randomly) drop in this grinding frenzy. At the same time, you would stop attacking, to solely focus on the item drop. I still remember the time when you can "buy" rejuv and 100% rejuv potions by using the "fill belt" bug. It was patched long ago, but thanks to it, I successfully ended my game many times

I didn't get that at first until the loot grabbing fight happened. I was like "What the heck, why is everyone silently getting closer to him and just staring at him?" Then I laughed so much later when I realized what it was.
The roller coaster screaming when the heroes are hit by baal 's wave thing spells is hillarious .Also Baal's prolonged mourning after his death is so on point :)

Omg serious nostalgia trip hearing the Beast Wars music at the start... I had so many of those toys as a kid, mostly Predacons because I always liked the bad guys more. Scorpinok, Waspinator, Terrasaur, Rampage, Tarrantulus, Black Arachnia, Inferno and of course Megatron. So many memories, thank you for bringing them back Carbot :D

Most I remember was that and playing as a female witch doctor and throwing undead puppies at Diablo's head. (And firebomb bats, frogs, and spiders, man I played that class like an undead druid! She was so fun!!)

The D2 dev team - from Condor aka Blizzard North - did love and detail their game this much. They just didn't love the rest of Blizzard, or Blizzard's greedy corporate shilling, or Blizzard's childish ideas about D3 onwards. So they left. Blizzard is not the same people and not the same company now that once it used to be.

In more organized runs, you also allowed the person with the most magic find to get the killing blow, to increase the chance of good drops.

Took me years to realise you needed to equip skills to left click and aura to right. I was swapping between skills and normal attack + aura..
@@highcheeks That was the reason I was turned off to playing a paladin. I thought you had to pick between having an aura active OR using a skill, which seemed awful to me.

It's very funny, just yesterday I went back to see Beast Wars, and I ended up watching 26 episodes of Beasts and Machines in one day.
Starting the morning off with Beast Wars theme music gave me Saturday morning cartoon flashbacks.
It took me a full 30 seconds to recognize the Beast Wars theme. So good!
My goodness... the feelings that intro music evoked. Calling up memories of one of my favorite childhood shows... and the PTSD from a certain character death... Thanks Carbot!
Omg serious nostalgia trip hearing the Beast Wars music at the start... I had so many of those toys as a kid, mostly Predacons because I always liked the bad guys more. Scorpinok, Waspinator, Terrasaur, Rampage, Tarrantulus, Black Arachnia, Inferno and of course Megatron. So many memories, thank you for bringing them back Carbot :D

Most I remember was that and playing as a female witch doctor and throwing undead puppies at Diablo's head. (And firebomb bats, frogs, and spiders, man I played that class like an undead druid! She was so fun!!)

The attention to detail in every little aspect really makes this great if only the developers loved their own game this much.
The D2 dev team - from Condor aka Blizzard North - did love and detail their game this much.
They just didn't love the rest of Blizzard, or Blizzard's greedy corporate shilling, or Blizzard's childish ideas about D3 onwards. So they left.
Blizzard is not the same people and not the same company now that once it used to be.
Man, what a lovely journey. An every episode is so true.
