00:40-01:06 Directly link to the ending of last week’s episode. Eve of Destruction is the final quest of both Act V and the game. After you have taken care of his Guardians, Baal will vanish through a portal behind the throne. Follow him down into the Worldstone Room. Now all you have to do is kill him.
01:06-01:08 Before following him it is recommended you open n^ TP back to town, refresh your Potions if you need to, and purchase a bunch more for the upcoming fight with Baal. He has abilities that will drain your Mana so it's recommended you stock up on enough Potions to be prepared for that.
01:08 Barbarians use leap.
01:08-01:14 Hoarfrost: This is the V shape blue wave that Baal shoots out that knocks you back. It will stun you when it hits you and damages you multiple times while pushing you back; this ability travels very far across the ground and usually doesn't stop until it hits a solid object. Out of all Baal's abilities, this is probably his most annoying.
01:10 Note the float and the sleeves for the Necromancer, the Paladin, and the Amazon. Like a wave pool!!!!
01:14 - 01:16 Assuming there are no items granting any non-class-specific skill, the assassin uses Dragon Flight and sorceress Teleport.
01:16 - 01:19 We could add any finishing move for the assassins here, and firebolt for the sorceress.
01:19 - 01:23 Hoarfrost attack might be evaded by an Amazon or by a barb jumping over it, or if you are doing an uninterruptible attack, like WW.
01:19 - 01:23 While the assassin tries her best, the sorceress has cast mana shied and uses Static field, which makes lose a quarter of the health of every enemy in a radius around you. This is limited to a % of health max based on the difficulty level.

01:30 - 01:34 Barb uses Consume. Similar to the lifetap curse, it consumes the hp of a single target based on the appetite of the caster.
01:34 - 01:38 NecroCancer uses Teeth, which Fires a barrage of “summoned” barbed teeth.
01:38-01:44 Baal has a fierce melee attack, and it looks like he is trying to pierce you with his tentacles. In an absence of enough life steal source -%, lifetap-, you would rely entirely on potions in order to keep your hero alive. Health and mana, progressive recovery. Rejuvenation, instant recovery.
01:44-01:52 Carbot and “overuse of uuuuuuuuuuuu” will never be in the same sentence. Or only this one. Little detail here. You cannot buy a rejuvenation potion. Either you find them or you craft them.
01:52-01:57 Druid uses Armageddon, which summons Small meteors to fall from the sky around the Druid.
01:57 - 01:58 Druid uses Werebear, which Transforms the Druid into a Werebear (duh…), and Fissure, which Attacks an area by opening a hole in the earth and damaging anything near it.
01:58 - 02:02 (Druid users will appeal this one). the AOE and damage of the spells do not match the spectacularity of their animation.
02:02- 02:03 Replenish quantity, please. The animation of some spells would actually keep going despite the fact that you have no more arrows/javelins.
02:03 - 02:18 Vile Effigy (Clone): Baal creates a clone of himself that has the same exact attacks he does. The clone will start out at the same total health Baal has too, IE if you have Baal at 50% the clone will be created with 50% health. Baal's clone will take amplified damage and is easier to defeat than Baal himself. For the most part you should try to ignore the clone and focus on Baal.
02:18 - 02:20 Baal can be discerned from his Vile Effigy duplicate by carefully observing the names. Note that in the hover name of real Baal, pictured in the image below, the "B" of Baal is slightly offset to the left from the "D" of Demon. The B and the D in the hover of the Vile Effigy are exactly aligned. You will also notice which is which since the Vile Effigy is spawned with just half of Baal's hit points, so even though their health bars look the same, the duplicate will appear to take damage much more quickly.
02:20-02:30 At this point I was hoping that YourPal would be able to make better use of Blessed hammer.
02:30 - 02:40 Baal's clone will take amplified damage and is easier to defeat than Baal himself. For the most part, you should try to ignore the clone and focus on Baal.
02:40 - 02:54 Common practice for item grinding. Get as close as you can to the monster in question, so you will be able to be the first one picking up (most of the time randomly) drop in this grinding frenzy. At the same time, you would stop attacking, to solely focus on the item drop. Note that the Necro is holding a bag and still has not recovered from the "teeth" spell.
02:54 - 02:57 Similarly to his brothers, Baal has a spectacular animation upon dying.
02:57 - 02:58 Friends on the battlefield, foes to pick up the loot.
02:58 - 03:00 “I cannot carry anymore”.

03:49 - 03:51 2 Seconds of credits in exchange for hours of joy. Not fair…
03:55 - 04:01 The quest is completed when Baal is slain. Tyrael will appear inside the World stone’s chamber, telling the player that Baal already corrupted the Worldstone and that it now must be destroyed. Music by Enya - May it be.

I love the part where everyone stops attacking Baal when his hp is low waiting for him to drop items.
I didn't get that at first until the loot grabbing fight happened. I was like "What the heck, why is everyone silently getting closer to him and just staring at him?"
Then I laughed so much later when I realized what it was.
Lol I laughed so hard cause I do that all the time. 😂😂😂
In more organized runs, you also allowed the person with the most magic find to get the killing blow, to increase the chance of good drops.

Took me years to realise you needed to equip skills to left click and aura to right. I was swapping between skills and normal attack + aura..
@@highcheeks That was the reason I was turned off to playing a paladin. I thought you had to pick between having an aura active OR using a skill, which seemed awful to me.

Starting the morning off with Beast Wars theme music gave me Saturday morning cartoon flashbacks.
Omg serious nostalgia trip hearing the Beast Wars music at the start... I had so many of those toys as a kid, mostly Predacons because I always liked the bad guys more. Scorpinok, Waspinator, Terrasaur, Rampage, Tarrantulus, Black Arachnia, Inferno and of course Megatron. So many memories, thank you for bringing them back Carbot :D

Most I remember was that and playing as a female witch doctor and throwing undead puppies at Diablo's head. (And firebomb bats, frogs, and spiders, man I played that class like an undead druid! She was so fun!!)

Brought back so many memories!
The attention to detail in every little aspect really makes this great if only the developers loved their own game this much.
The D2 dev team - from Condor aka Blizzard North - did love and detail their game this much.
They just didn't love the rest of Blizzard, or Blizzard's greedy corporate shilling, or Blizzard's childish ideas about D3 onwards. So they left.
Blizzard is not the same people and not the same company now that once it used to be.
It took me a full 30 seconds to recognize the Beast Wars theme. So good!
I love how they loot Baal
When i did runs to rush new players through, one rule was that everyone has to stand away from Baal and every other boss.
With the old 1.09d bugged amazon buriza and the Amplify dmg (Atmas scarab) he was literally dead with 5 shoots.
Most people who tried to ninja anyway were always impressed, that they couldnt even ninja because Baal was dead
before anyone could run to him.
This made me lol so hard. From the health potion hat, leaping to town, throwing Teeth, Baals hp stopping from dropping, the heroes inching closer to get loot and so much more.
Enjoyed every episode and this is a fitting end. Kudos!

When the assassins inventory was filled it should have been the amazon getting the item!! Lol she was always jacking the Amazons stuff!!! Awesome series !!!
