Certain builds though, like the so-called “Bear sorceress” is here an exception. 01:13 - 01:17 Necromancer is using Bone spirit, which tracks down a target, or finds one of its own. Bone Spirit starts out initially strong but eventually fades in power compared to Bone Spear as synergies are invested in. And killed by a Spike fiend. 01:37 - 01:45 Barbarian uses Whirlwind, a fierce spinning attack. The characterization of this scene reminds me of Dragon ball for some reason. 01:46 - 01:47 Just to be slain by the (almost certain) lvl. 98 act 2 mercenary, using Stab. 01:51 - 01:58 To prevent the bodies from being recovered, the sorceress guards the camp exit by casting Meteor repeatedly, which leaves a trail of fire and kills the innocent Paladin. Once I had a friend get crazy and added for fun all the items he wanted. But, he did not understand suffixes, so instead of giving a value to an item suffix, he set it always to the maximum THERE IS (not the maximum the item can spawn with; like, hammer can have between 1 and 15 of the suffix, he gave it the maximum in the game, like 99...). The result was his "unbeatable" paladin who could one shot everything. So, I requested the same style of gear, but made a necromancer. You can guess his reaction when he killed himself repeatedly because of thorns/bone prison, lol. Hitting himself for 30000000000 damage... muahahahahah

The enigma hammerdin was probably the most common of the "top" Pvp specs, since it was very difficult to reduce pure magic damage. In addition it was very common for the hammers to despawn/ bug out visually even though they were still there so you'd die to nothing on your screen.
Charge was also very hot at the time. Those were my favorite builds. Charge was a good counter to spell caster if used properly and the bash/whirlwind/leap barbs.
@@hughmann9568 Yea Pallys had alot of options in dueling. Even FOH could be legit if the person really put in the time to build it out. Other options for melee only duels too.
i cant stop watching this. because it is how dueling truly is got by far the best i wish there was a way to show how much i love this like and sub is just not enough. pleas keep the good time coming from D2 this is pure bliss and true.
Loved the level 9 PvP leagues! Such a simple concept: Both Teams start with fresh charakters and play up until Level 9 together and just duel it out with just the selffound stuff There are those ruins where the foundation is still standing in the Darkwood that makes the perfect dueling ground for those 2 on 2s had surprising sucess with Crows as a Druid
Funny. I had one of those OP pvp hammerdins. I even had one FoH hammer on ladr. The only thing that i had trouble with defeating was good wind druids. All the rest wasn't really a problem. Bowazon, Sorc, Barbs, they all lost their ears.
1. While on the bridge you're still inside town and can't be attacked. 2. Barbarian, Druid and paladin are melee figures, amazon, sorceress ans necro are ranged so they run from melee attackers. 3. Amazon has tracking bolt. Assassin runs very fast. 4. Assassin has a teleport skill, but it requires a target to teleport to and attack. 5. Barbarian is very hardy 6. A passive skill allows the amazon to dodge incoming attacks. 7. Necromancer has Bone Spirit, which chases a target and deals a lot of damage. 8. The high level player is a Hammerdin with offensive auras and an high level Iron Wolf merc that has auras of his own. 9. Barbarian has "whirlwind", but Paladin with a shield has a very high block rate, and the high level mercenary is strong enough to kill the barbarian. 10. Sorceress casting meteor leaves a wall of fire qt the towns exit. It deals high damage and the unarmored players cannot get to their corpses to recover their gear bc they'd die. Necromancer uses a waypoint to teleport out of town and come from the other side but sorceress has an active thunderstorm, which calls down lightning spontaneously to hit foes, and can deal insane amounts of damage, easily killing a low vitality spellcasting character
Oh that ending was so good trying to get their corpses back lol

@@hughmann9568 Yea Pallys had alot of options in dueling. Even FOH could be legit if the person really put in the time to build it out. Other options for melee only duels too.
1:40 Standing here
I realized
You were just like me
Trying to make history
I remember playing hardcore with my brother so that we can hit lv. 9 and fight to death! Winner was able to reach lv. 18 to, again, fight to death!
it want the valentines card of the "sorceress and the mercenary" as a T-shirt!!!!
Meanwhile back at DIablo 3 on New Tristram:
Nek the Brawler: "I feel so lonely..."
this hit me in the feels.
Yup, that's basically D2 dueling in a nutshell. :D
This is hilarious. I am going to have to re-watch this with "Yakety Sax" from Benny Hill.
was expecting assassin to set lightning traps
Esses vídeos são na verdade melhores do que a própria experiência de jogar o jogo. Parabéns cara, tu é muito bom.
Priceless! Especially at the end... I have both great and horrid memories of that time. XD
THIS ARROW GOD DAMN, SO DETAILED IN ALL
BEST DIABLO VID
Even the hubby who never played a click of Diablo laughs. ;)
i cant stop watching this. because it is how dueling truly is got by far the best i wish there was a way to show how much i love this like and sub is just not enough. pleas keep the good time coming from D2 this is pure bliss and true.
1:51 PEWP was notorious for this!!! I never forgot him either lol
just missing the barb running to corpses dropping random gear around it to try and pop em lol
the fucking mercenary always gets me, fuck he's funny
Loved the level 9 PvP leagues!
Such a simple concept:
Both Teams start with fresh charakters and play up until Level 9 together and just duel it out with just the selffound stuff
There are those ruins where the foundation is still standing in the Darkwood that makes the perfect dueling ground for those 2 on 2s
had surprising sucess with Crows as a Druid
Haha I love when the quill rat gets last hit
Everything about PVP in one short video. Holy shit, this could not have been done better
Funny.
I had one of those OP pvp hammerdins.
I even had one FoH hammer on ladr.
The only thing that i had trouble with defeating was good wind druids.
All the rest wasn't really a problem.
Bowazon, Sorc, Barbs, they all lost their ears.
Haha man I remember all this stuff happening, I used to camp the moat a bit with meteor!
The most legit one for me was the necromancer spamming bone spirit 😂
My favorite part is the necromancer coming from the waypoint to try to get his body and the one tap by the lightning storm rofl
I made this sam comment. Was looking for someone else who noticed lol.
there could definitely be a few entries to diablo dueling lol
1:31 "dodge" nice details here and there
Oh god. Meteor at entrance, hahaha! Good ol' D2.
El grito de muerte del Nigromante me da años de vida !
El volverá y siempre 😠
5. Barbarian is very hardy
Lol the hammerdin... You're supposed to use Zerk on him.
