    Very happy for you
I’m gonna have jaw surgery within the next 4 months and had braces for half a year, the struggle is real
Also got all my wisdom teeth removed, all four of then at once, it was such a nightmare recovering from that, I can’t imagine how hard the recovery of the jaw surgery is going to be
And I always hate my self when I’m looking at the mirror because I think I’m ugly all the time and I’m not 14 anymore with normal jaw
Anyway, sorry for typing too much, you probably not going to see this but it’s nice to share my thoughts sometimes because I always keep them to myself, I don’t like to make other people feel bad for me
Glad you are doing good, you made me feel better and have more confidence
    Love from Israel

באטו Bato i also has my wisdom teeth removed and that was a hard recovery but I’m not going to lie the recovery for jaw surgery is very draining mentally and physically and your body heals at its own pace so it’s hard to stay patient but it was the best decision that i made to get jaw surgery because like your experience i didn’t like what i looked like and also i was having health issues because of my bite and once i healed and everything i loved how i looked. Just remember to be patient with yourself and it will be hard to only eat liquids and soft foods. I actually before i was supposed to eat sold things i got so emotional because all i wanted to do was do everything from before so i would take some food and swallow it whole. You will do great with the surgery and good luck.

Ashcash hi! I got my surgery in Spanish fork Utah and my surgeon was Dr. Egbert and he is an amazing surgeon i hilly recommend him, he his so considerate and nice and he really cares about his patients. I paid $800 in his office before my surgery and that was all i has to pay for him there. For my actual surgery it came out to be $79,000 but my insurance covered 80% and i got an extra 40% off so I’m only paying $1200 all together.

Cheyanne Libert oh wowwwwwwwwwww! That is amazing!!!! I will do my research on him. You seem to have some amazing coverage! I’m in awe 😩. But I love your results. They did a great job. Thank you so much for this information. I really appreciate it.

Ashcash where do you live? Yes i would recommend him literally to anyone who is getting the surgery. It was hard for me driving wise cause i lived 3.5 hours from his office so i has to drive quite a bit but it was worth it. He’s cares more about his patients than money, his office staff is great too. If you ever do get it from him mention me, he would prob love to hear that. Also ask as many questions as you can with him because it’s easier to get the answer from him than the internet although i researched a lot before my surgery and it was nice to ask him in person.

@@cheyannelibert3207 the thing is I live in DC so I would have to take a plane there. lol I was planning on going through the early process (invisalign until I receive the correct overbite for approval of insurance) with an oral surgeon who I've been in contact with and then find another oral surgeon to do the actual surgery. My fees if insurance is covered would be about 30K. That's way too much for me lol I have Carefrist but I'm not sure how that works out of state.

Ashcash oh wow ya that’s far from where i am haha. Ya it’s hard with insurance luckily my insurance covered 80% of my surgery then i got 40% off that so i only paid about $1200 all together from $79,000 which was the first total before my insurance covered their part.
