    I am so happy to hear a plastic surgeon say “asymmetry is normal,” because it has bothered me since I was a child, and even worse after I read that people who are left-handed are much more prone to asymmetrical face and body. Looking at myself, I believe that is true. As I will be 50 next month, I have earned enough to afford plastic surgeries, yet exactly because I will be 50, I think to myself why start now? Subtlety is the key for a certain time when you are still relatively young, but there comes a time when the accumulative effect of even small procedures starts to pile up and look weird, I think Tom has just reached that point and also he looks a lot heavier. In the end you just can't beat nature!

    • @HapillyMe
      @HapillyMe 2 роки тому

      @@scarletred8888 I agree, you can't beat nature, but as you age, you'll have adjust your restylane, voluma, etc. amount adjusted to where it still looks natural. If you get deep wrinkles over the years, and you get way more injected to completely get rid of the wrinkles, that's when you start looking like an 👽.

    I am sure that Tom Cruise has undergone all the enhancements Dr Gary has listed, after all, he has a trained eye to spot these things. What I am most impressed about is how Dr Gary describes the areas of the face, the natural changes due to aging, the enhancements, why he thinks it is enhanced the reasons why someone would get them done. No emotion, no drama, purely clinical. So good!
    I also think, as an actor, Tom has done a pretty good job of keeping all his surgeries and enhancements low key so they do not detract from his distinctive face. For example, he could have 'fixed' his nose, made the tip less bulbous and more asymmetrical - but then he wouldn't be so recognizable and he didn't do anything like that. Also he has taken great care of his skin!

    It's also possible Tom had taken some prednisone and his face got temporarily puffier at age 59.. over the years, I have certain conditions and need prednisone every so often. You gain weight, your face gets fuller, then you come off and in time the face will slim back but many times, especially for women, the weight stays on.

    I was an endodontist assistant years ago and the endo taught me one day about Toms midline being completely off center 😂 An entire tooth off center! I see it every time I look at his pics. I can’t unsee it no matter how hard I try. Anyway, thanks for another great vid! I’d never do facial surgery but I love seeing other peoples for some reason. You’re awesome. Thanks again!

      Many times Tom Cruise mentioned assorted injuries to his teeth and nose eg. He got hit by tennis rackets and hockey pucks. So he had his teeth capped or had braces which may not have been done correctly as a kid . At some point his mother had to support her 4 children by working 3 jobs. He also had an overbite and as late as 2002 he actually was wearing braces. Watch him speak with a lisp at the 2002 Academy awards. It was sort of cute.
