    Thank You!
    Navigating relationships with narcissists can be a complex journey filled with unpredictable twists and turns. These individuals have a unique pattern of behavior that seems to repeat itself incessantly. Initially, they draw you into their world, creating a sense of intimacy and connection. However, just when you feel most secure, they unexpectedly pull away, creating a chasm of confusion and hurt.
    Eventually, when they have exhausted their use for you, they discard you, often without any apparent wrongdoing on your part. This abrupt dismissal can leave you feeling bewildered and questioning your worth. It's a classic move by narcissists, but it's crucial to note that this does not necessarily signify the end of their interference in your life.
    Interestingly, narcissists have a tendency to reappear in your life when they perceive some benefit to be derived from you once again. This behavioral pattern is commonly referred to as the idealize-devalue-discard-hoover cycle, which succinctly encapsulates how narcissists manage their relationships.
    Therefore, even though it may seem as if the narcissist is done with you after they discard you, the reality is that they may very well not be finished meddling in your personal affairs. To truly liberate yourself from their clutches, ignoring them might be the only feasible option.
    In this expanded video, we will delve deeper into the reasons why you should ignore a narcissist who has discarded you, how they might respond when being ignored, and how to cope with their potential reactions. It's important to understand these aspects to gain a broader perspective on the situation and equip yourself with the necessary tools to handle their behavior effectively.

    The narcissists in my life cozy up to my husband and treat me disrespectfully. They pit him against me by complaining about me to him. I want to get away from them but as long as my husband still wants to see them I am stuck. I am thankful though that they only show up once a year for a visit and I can ignore their phone calls and block them from my social media.

      I'm really sorry to hear about your difficult situation. It's tough when the people close to us don't treat us with the respect and kindness we deserve. It's important to communicate openly with your husband about how you're feeling. If these people are causing you distress, he should be aware and supportive of your feelings. In the meantime, remember to take care of yourself. Blocking them on social media and ignoring their calls can be effective ways to protect your mental health. Stay strong and know that there are people who understand what you're going through.

    Only way i know how to do so, is not absorb their misbehaviour.

    • @NarcPedia
      @NarcPedia  5 місяців тому +1

      That's a wise and effective approach! Not absorbing their misbehavior helps you maintain your peace and keeps their negativity at bay. Setting boundaries and protecting your emotional space is crucial when dealing with such individuals. Great job on recognizing and implementing such a healthy strategy! 👏💖 Keep up the good work!

      I'm sorry to hear about your situation. It's truly unfortunate when someone actively undermines the things that bring us joy and tranquility. Remember, their actions are a reflection of them, not you. Take care!

    I live with two narcissists and one in training. They know I am erring them but they move to another way. On cold nights they open two windows on extremely cold nights. They don’t even care that there are early parents living with us. They always sleep in the cold, so I took the delivery and got to mom and her electric blanket. Take their clothes off of her back everything with my sister is gotta be an argument or they do something else to get even with me, the worst thing they do is they use the bathroom they need to seat up. They flushed it to it and walk out, so everything be aerosol with their E. coli germs on everything they make me sick only a person who don’t care will do this.
