Lucy and those birds sounds..😻 Thank you Aprille. By the way, is there any yoga pose that helps with acid reflux? At the end of the session I had to get up early because of the acid coming up into my throat...😅😅
Much of acid reflux has to do with digestion overall including excessive gas and bloating. You can try doing a few more of the practices that are focused on Spleen/Stomach meridians which can stimulate digestion and I also have a detox class that works on twists as well as Spleen/Stomach to help the body digest better. Otherwise, try to keep at an angle where your throat is higher than your chest so maybe lifting up the head in most of these poses so it's a bit higher (use a towel folded) and keep the hips and chest lower will help. If you have acid reflux a lot, ask your healthcare provider for some food suggestions that work to reduce it (I know some foods just tend to cause it more than others). Also, most yoga should be practiced on an empty stomach so at least 2 hours after a meal and even better if it is 3. Thanks for joining me and have a great day! Peace, Aprille
