Creator of Netronian Chaos here! Just saw this freshly hot video and i thank you for playing Netronian Chaos with gud friend of mine Skelegant's map pack, Bungle in the Jungle. I appreciate it gazillion times! Your video is once again, well reviewed and has some delicious criticism to it. And oh my, i thought i nailed the Final boss fight, but it turns out it 's kinda easy if you know how to do the Life-Saving Strafing. But hey! At least his last attack when the health is low is pretty hard to dodge. Also you can disable the weapon limit, actually! Just turn on the 'Disable Weapon Limit' in the Options and then Voila! Also you can turn on the Weapon Vacuum; extra setting that you can collect weapons for ammo if you have full 6 weapons, depends on what kind of weapons you have. Plus, if you think overall boss battles of this map pack are easy, you should check out MAP01 even more. Find the secret and see for yourself! Thank you so much for playing and please keep up the good work!
I am happy to see this mod still being worked on, I really like the drawn look of the weapons, it makes it seem cartoonish but can still kick you in the nuts at any moment. I wish you success in further projects.
You would not believe the amount of times I played through those levels figuring out the best enemy and ammo placement :D I really enjoyed mapping around the NC enemies as they're more challenging than the good ol' vanilla enemies, and every encounter becomes a fight for survival.
I agree on the sky box. Don't know why but I really like the look. I also really like the look of the fourth level you showed with the big menacing looking building. The dev/devs did a really cool thing with having a cartoon look and feel but also having it look and feel serious. Thanks for the update on this one Icarus.
I see, that you recorded the not fixed audio version, I did for them. That said, this is a fantastic mod and I'm glad, it has some maps on it now, though it should have more. Now only if Rebel Rumble had some maps for it, we would be golden for this year in Doom Community.
Tri desolator reminds me of the old Starwars battlefront game which is what I really like to use for also that is such a good mod so keep it up pardner
To be honest, I would only play a weapons wad if it was tailor-made for a level pack. I want to just click Ultra Violence and have a balanced, challenging experience.
How about reviewing "Nun with a gun"? It's a great Skelegant gameplay mod forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=59072 and plays great with the Preacher map pack www.doomworld.com/forum/topic/68940-preacher-new-map-041717/
Why don't they have faces? I was staring at the thumbnail trying to figure out if the yellow thing on top of the body was a head and if it was where are the eyes?
The green thing on the left side functions as an eye (it's closer to an insect eye than human eyeball though), and I believe the right side has some kind of sonar melon or extra brain stuff going on.
There's a really fun gamebreaking bug I had to deal with the moment dropping weapons became a thing. The game doesn't remove the weapon from the slot, the slot is still occupied, even though you drop the actual weapon you were holding. This leads to you being unable to pick up more than the very first six weapons (including the knife and the pistol you start with) you encounter. A shame this happened to me as it completely killed the point of the mod.
So that stage 2 boss just seems like a Cyberdemon with more health than the sun. I dunno, that seems kind of cheap to me, increasing the difficulty by just massively increasing enemy HP.

MOAR
hey wanted to say this love the sound effects you used for your weapons more so the Fletchet cannon
I would love to play this because it looks really well done but I can't get it to work
Looks like alot of fun. Will have to try this.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Creator of the map pack, Bungle in the Jungle! :D
I need help. How do I load the map and mod at once? @_@
@bold524 Select both files and drag them onto gzdoom (netronian chaos should be loaded first)
Looks much better now, with the custom enemies in an appropriate art style. Now it's just the vanilla Doom textures that are clashing :-)
This is one of those mods that straight up needs to be a full on TC for me to fully appreciate.
Damn, these MSPaint mods have come a long way. I'm loving this. It just needs a new cartoony texture pack to go with this.

6:55 Was that a laser Spork ?
This might be the best mod ever
It reminded me of Chex Quest
This mod actually has support for Chex Quest.
@@QuakedoomNukem Did you double CHEX to make sure?
This mod is absolutely amazing. It looks really stylized and memorable, except, maybe, for the map textures (but those don't count)
Giant luxury hotel in North Korea?
They must have... what? five's of guests a year!
This mod works well with Diabolus Ex. i havent tried the map-set for this yet but i might soon

Saturday morning playing this. That's all I need.
these maps were made by skelegant, another talented doom modder
Tri desolator reminds me of the old Starwars battlefront game which is what I really like to use for also that is such a good mod so keep it up pardner
Reminds me of Blakestone for some reason. Not enough scientists to talk to....
Nice to see that this mod is back
I actually enjoyed the earlier version. I will definitely dive back in.
To be honest, I would only play a weapons wad if it was tailor-made for a level pack. I want to just click Ultra Violence and have a balanced, challenging experience.
I don't remember you mentioning it the first time, but it seems fun.
Great video!
How long is this mod? PS. nice vid as ussual! :)
Is it just me, or does the netronian emperor looks like jim sterling?
cant wait for next update
Can you review Maskim Xul for doom mad madness next?
if this but became a actual video game I'd buy and play it
I was really hoping the textures of the levels would be consistent with the art style.
Could you please tell me which MtG card is your avatar? I've been searching for it for ages.
Diabolic Tutor. Funny thing is that I actually don't play MtG but I sometimes watched my friends play and I love the artwork.
This reminds me of Adventures of Square

how many times have you emptied a magazine, engaged combat with an enemy and THEN reloaded? geez
You should cover Ashes 2063 next.
review request! Inquisitor 3?
intro music title?
This mod wont launch in mobile version of freedoom!
Review legacy of suffering
it's a great mod but some of the default uac assets just ruin it

ZDoom's Default weapon drop key will break the game. Try press the mod's included drop key(Default key bind is X). Thanks.
That actually fixed the whole mess. Funny things like this happen.
Is it possible to deactivate the camera shake? I noticed it quite a lot during the video.
GZDoom has an "earthquake shake intensity" slider under "display options", so maybe try that.
OK
10:32 so you would hardly recommend netronian chaos.
Play Moonman in your next Doom mod madness, please?
So that stage 2 boss just seems like a Cyberdemon with more health than the sun. I dunno, that seems kind of cheap to me, increasing the difficulty by just massively increasing enemy HP.
Hey Icarus you can do The Adventure of Gardevoir and Gallade based by Bad Fur Day in 3d
Its a really dumb story but the art is neat
320th like
You only play as a female? Excellent.
The feminists are taking over
+DaddyKrabs Nah, netronian chaos's protag is just a badass marine who happens to be a big tough lass :D
None of that "Strong Womyn™" bullshit
What is this
@@losertm2250 A Mod just for fun. :P
