Thanks for your review and positivity. Always good to hear an opinion from someone that has done the miles. I have a 1500mm canopy, a double dog box, wheel carrier and a few other extras on order based on what I thought was a good solidly built value for money setup. I have to say that the people at TC Boxes have been great to deal with and their communication is second to none. My gear arrives in January so the fun starts then.
Hi Henry, Just read your comment. I thought you might like to Have a look at my rig, canopy set up and 12v set up. see what you think. Cheers Out There Touring
Thanks for the content. I've been pricing up canopies and was looking at sub 2k but based on reviews of variou brands it seems like 2.5k will be more realistic in terms of quality. TC boxes is one of those brands at that price point so based on your review I'll keep them in the list. Cheers
Good short vid, prompted me to watch more of your content. I noticed some colour changes in the newer vids. Are you still running the original T.C. Boxes canopy just change of colour? If so how is it holding up?

Thanks for the good intro Curtis and she lloks great - looks like white is the new black - I’ve replaced my illegal sized black wheels with white Sunraysia’s and can now rego the Hilux here in SA - I’m still debating on black versus white for the canopy because I prefer black but white reflects the sun’s heat better but will still insulate anyway - did you mount the drawers and fridge on longitudinal alloy channels because I’m investigating how to fix the drawers etc to the underfloor skeleton while taking into acct what you said about the ‘lip’ height? - John in SA
Hey mate, Awesome setup, pretty Mitch the same as mine! Did you have to modify the Dunn and Watson guard on the passenger side for the fuel filler? And what length under tray box’s did you go for? Cheers
Hey tyler! Cheers man how good!! I didn't have to modify the dun and Watson's they fitted up with the filler no worries at all! & they're the dun and Watson double tapered boxs, decided it stick with one brand so it all matched up nicely!
Hey! sorry for such a late reply! Thats correct, Dun and Watson Mudguards, and double tapered toolboxes, with the TC Boxes Canopy, ive had them all on for a while now and still holding up mint
Hey mate I didn’t use auto spec in Belmont, I ordered this before TC had a supplier in WA, but no complaints love the canopy, still going strong and done a lot of KMS offroad and is holding up like a treat
@@Onemoreventure Cheers, The prices in WA are higher, not sure if its worth going there or going direct. 4Xoverland released a video using the tool boxes as a camper, I am thinking of copying them.
@@peterlee543 hey Peter, cheers, it was a long time ago you should see the canopy now! Reason why I went with the 1500 is because I thought it was sufficient enough for our needs & I also didn’t want to have the spare wheel overhanging the back of the chassis’s, along with the jerry can holders. I feel it’s definitely more then enough room! It’s just how you fit it out I suppose. Cheers for the comment hope this helps 🤙

Hey mate how well does your awning work with the canopy door open? Door seems higher than awning. I have the same problem and unsure how to go with the awning
Hey John! I'm not sure on the dust rating but I haven't had any issues at all with dusting inside the canopy & as fas as the hinges leaking on this particular canopy ( one of the first ones out ) they only leaked when the door was open & raining but it's all fixed now according to Tc boxs
@@Onemoreventure Awesome Thanks Kurtis! It is definitely good value for money compared to other brands, but still make me worried if I'm going to cheap lol. Its awesome to get other peoples thoughts on these.
@@johnbates5620 I can honestly say mate after 1 year of owning it, it doesn't look like it's aged one bit & if i were to buy again it would be one of these!

What was the service from Autospec in Belmont? Presuming you used them as your in WA ! Also, do the square holes in the sides bug you?

A 1800mm long canopy would fit on tray dimensions
Thanks.
Hey mate just bought the same canopy as you and the tire holder, but not sure how to fix it to the canopy. How did you do yours?
