Welcome back to another Vid!
Today we send it out fishing the remote waters of Northern Territory, launching out of Darwin to cast lures at some BIG Spanish Mackerel and land them in the boat! Jordy Flys up from Perth to get a taste of what it’s like living in the Remote Top End of Australia and gets a chance to catch a fish of a life time!
Afterwooods we head out night barramundi fishing to catch and cook dinner & then 4wd to some of the best swimming waterfalls in the outback camping amongst the gorges with a good old camp fire.

As someone with a 2001 lux (460,000km) I was rooting for the old girl but still did not waning the new girl to fail. With that said you will always have more fun in the old lux.

Get yourself some gore tex vents for your underbody toolboxes, it’ll allow them to breathe and equalise pressure to minimise condensation inside but won’t let water in, you just need to get the right size ones for the volume capacity of your toolboxes.

Thanks Tim you Legend, I froth that song too 🤌, 3inch struts with adjustable or fixed upper control arms and definitely recommend a diff drop. Once you get that all in, get your tyre shop to adjust the castor and camber up push the castor forward as much as they can to get the wheel away from the body mount and you’re on! 🎣

Hey mate I’m running long travel Bilstien shocks, standard n80 leafs in this video with extended shackles and extended lines 🍻 works well, but now I’ve upgraded to constant 500kg leafs with airbags because the touring setup is pretty heavy but in staying that it still performs well
I love the simplicity and strength of old hilux.

I'm looking at one of these at the moment, a 1997 with the 2.4L petrol engine. Is this a good car to use as a base for an overland build which will have a lift, 35" tires and air diff lockers front and rear?
id definitely recommend a diesel one over petrol, but they are both a great 4x4

Подскажите кто ставил 5 л вместо 2 и з л, по мощность и тяги разница большая я про атмосферники. Хочу заменить 2 л на 5 л есть смысл у меня на 35 резине на 2 л мощей не хватает в затяжные горки на 2 а то и на первой заежает двига откапеталена хайлюкс лн 65. Может кто знает?
