The only other problem with the Tenrai is how insanely difficult it is to make them. And I'm working on my 3rd Tenrai. I'm 12 BP away and been there for about a couple weeks.

Missed Fairy Fulmar (nearly a second faster than suisei - if you're giving up your damage on the DB slot anyway....) and Stuka (slightly worse than purple SB2C but matches IB for gear requirements)

12A's do 60-70% of the damage of a Tenrai. Fulmars do 30-40% of a Tenrai. Use a Homing Beacon. The Aviation difference is less than the bomb damage you miss out on. If you need to go faster switching Sea Hornets to Bearcats is more efficient. (But you shouldn't need to go faster.)

can't say I tried that hard to do my own research on the matter, but I'm just wondering if homing beacons stack? that is to say, does equipping two homing beacons on one aircraft carrier make any impact compared to just one? cause I can't really find any information to the contrary.

Homing Beacons are special equipment. You can't equip more than one of a particular special equipment to a single ship.

Bit late but yes, the bonus to aviation you get from it being gold rather than purple buffs the damage of not only the bomber but your other planes as well
