Hey everyone! This is a project that's been sitting on my harddrive for a long time. I recorded a lot of my adventures starting from my very first voyage all the way to my ascension to Pirate Legend!
It took me a little over 3 months (about 100 days) to get all my reputations high enough to join Athena's Fortune without me explicitly trying to speedrun it. I know people often look for how to get Pirate Legend the fastest way but to me, the journey was more important than the destination.
Many things happened on the way, from epic showdowns to funny moments and I hope you enjoy the stories that came out of it.

You probably know this by now, but when a ship randomly scuttles at an outpost it's probably because the crew actually logged off and they didn't coward out or anything.
So THAT'S what happens when, after a long day of lost shipments, I log off? My ship gets sucked into the void with the ferryman?! Huh... Didn't know that!

@@broify8520 Ships linger for about 10 minutes before auto-sinking, so not necessarily.
One time I was having a battle and we both destroyed each other's ships at the same time. As we're both sinking I hear the other crew saying "Oh they quit and scuttled what cowards" lol. The saltiest of seas XD
The Kraken and Skele-ship tag teaming the galleon was the most hilarious thing I've seen all day.
Sometimes rare is on your side... For like 30 seconds then it screws you over.

@@King_Sus yessir. Back on launch, the sloop had a completely useless jail that nobody could use because of the fact that no majority vote could ever be reached on a two-man crew

Been hunting for quality SoT content and luckily for once in a while UA-cams algorithm actually sends me to the good stuff. I'm surprised you don't have more subs.
He does have a main channel that has 75k subs. I believe he mostly did Overwatch there though.

At 9:27 I was yelling at my screen (not literally) to stop aiming up when throwing the water out but hey he was new and it’s an easy rookie mistake I’ve been there too

@@eliburns5264 if the water splashes at all on the ship it goes directly back into the hull instead of outside of the ship.
Omg I know, I always throw the water up over the top stairs or over the map table and out the back just to be safe. Misfiring the bucket while throwing it through the window has almost made me sink my ship way too many times

This guy is so awesome. His storytelling and narration is really good and so engaging, his voice is cool too. I’ve never even played sea of thieves and he makes me want to play it so bad, such a good channel and definitely needs more subs!
To me, there are 2 great SOT content creators, Welyn and Cliff the Story Guy. Both for the same reason, AMAZING NARRATION!!!!!

Given the fact this is my first video watched for this channel, and i have enjoyed nearly the first 50 minutes already, i know this guy is good and has captured my interest. This channel deserves my subscription.

Never did i see a youtuber that totally takes a different approach to SoT content and to be honest thats what i love about it and makes its interesting to watch
I like to be quiet and chill so not attacking over players is ideal for me and others. I would love to be in a server without constantly being attacked.
my goal one of these days is to mimic these guys and form an alliance with literally an entire server, that way there'd be no pvp lmaoo

This video is amazing, the sheer amount of work you put into this video was amazing. The hour and forty seven minute commentary must have been so tedious, but man does it make the video AMAZING. The story, the ideas, the ability to sink almost every ship you encounter. Just absolutely outstanding content. If every video you ever post is on a level like this one, you will be one of the TOP sea of thieves creators EVER.

Sea of tales: an honest review
Your narration is exquisite, you feel like welyn but with a European accent, and you go after encounters more than money, and you seem to show the best of the best. You have great chemistry with you’re friends, and I would love to have more of these book style videos, to save time you could use old short videos in this format. One thing however is that some, SOME of the dialogue is repetitive, however it doesn’t bother me that much and I love this series so far.

I'm one of those pirates that scuttles when boarded, I do it for 2 reasons:
1. I'm a solo slooper and suck at pvp, and
2. It is the only thing I can do to annoy reapers, sort of my last "middle finger" before being sunk anyway
I do the same thing and its funny to see people call me slurs while im dancing in the crows nest of my sinking ship.
Yeah I do the same. Usually I just get attacked for no reason when I have zero loot so I’m just like yeah screw you guys I’ll scuttle and find a new session lol

The detail in your commentary is amazing. Your voice at the end of a sentence never drifts of to a slumber mumble, its like listening to a Shakespeare plays but your playing every role perfectly. Thank you for making this video, definitely watching this a couple times.

This is my favorite video youve made so far. My 1st time watching this video made me sub to your channel because of how long it is and the fact that you managed to make it entertaining from start to finish. I've played Sea of THieves for almost 400 hours and i have never gotten a Reapers Bounty from a Captains Orders map so i got really confused when i saw you dig up that Reapers Bounty
as long as theres no reapers bounty active currently, theres a shockingly high chance to get one from digging up skeleton captains orders on small islands

Took me about a week
I bought sea of thieves at launch got bored and stop playing it until last year when I saw you showing all the awesome new features that have been made since. It has quickly become my escape.
The life of a solo slooper is never truly boring but usually very lonely
The only way that it gets more lonely is when another ship you thought was friendly tries to kill you.

It was actually just today me and my crew became apart of a 4 crew alliance with 2 brigs and 2 galleons (including ours) we ended up doing the FOTD new Megalodon event and two world generated forts. We ended up making over 500,000 gold pieces in just a couple hours definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had on Sea of Thieves

Not gonna lie man your videos have encouraged me and my crew to always turn around and fight the pursuing ship. It’s resulted in a lot of team ups and some real bad trolling from some guys….and a ship full of invisible people….but also some of the most memorable wins I’ve ever had in the game.

Watched a load of your content today after getting back into the game. Great work.
Watching through this reminded me of this time me and my friends were doing a bunch of gold hoarders stuff, and both of my crewmates left me to finiah off the night solos as they didnt really care too much about the money when you lower the emmisary flag and tbh neither do i, some new players were trying out reapers and walked up to me chilling and shopping on an outpost and asked if they could sink my ship for my lvl 5 gold hoarders flag. So nayurally i was both intrigued and confused as to why they didnt just sink my ass they didnt give me a good answer, but they were fun and joined me for a few songs on the banjo so i gave them the go ahead then headed off for the night. GOD I LOVE THIS GANE CAUSE ITS SO FUCKING WACKY!

Attacking a new ship at the very beginning of the Outpost will always be a douche move. Especially to get nothing from it. Happens way to many times in this game.

I was on a galleon crew and one of my crewmates boardet another galleon, he then somehow convinced he was their captain. He ordered to attack the galleon in the distance (us) and they fell for it. Sailing right in to our ambush
