It’s wild to hear you were able to get each category knocked out in 30ish minutes.. I’ve been breaking it up into categories and on average it takes me exactly 2 hours to upload and add context to 35 items.
Okay I LOVE and appreciate your suggestions for photographing your items! I started this back in March and it was so much work and so daunting that I haven’t revisited since - but the idea of 30 minute segments is so much more approachable. I’ve been tracking what I wear in a spreadsheet for the last 2.5 years but I would really love to add in that visual representation. I also love that dress on you! One of my favourite pieces of yours.
I'm so glad to hear that!! I was in the same boat with feeling so daunted by the process but breaking it up made SUCH a difference!! Pls tag me when you get yours uploaded 👀
The fact that you have been diligently tracking this on a spreadsheet for over two effing years… I’m bowing down to you! I could never! Your commitment is impressive!!
Also that dress is so beautiful for you!!! I would definitely point out that you’re a high contrast winter so that deep color looks gorgeous. Your skin looks so clear and crisp
Love this video! I just love long form content, I feel like I can engage with it more intentionally! It felt lovely to sit down with you on my porch for 20 minutes with a cup of tea this morning 😊 I’m going to start cataloguing my wardrobe on Indyx this afternoon!
Omg I did that for YEARS!! Can confirm that this is SO much better. You can also retroactively add all of those outfits that you have photos of and create boards for them in Indyx too!!
Started following you - also an Indyx fan being styled by Élise - have not opened my closet yet and appreciate your tips and the understanding you give of the other side of the process.
Great video, I joined Indyx earlier this year and love the app! I also saw Christina Mychas video on the look book you did for her, and you did an awesome job!
@@albertarosestyle Yes, so many outfits. I am using the 5,4,3,2,1 packing method for 6 weeks in Europe this fall. And it has been so helpful. So many outfits. And yes it is like having little personal paper dolls. So fun!
I just subscribed to your channel. I love your approach to emotional dressing and building a relationship with your clothes. I'm also into second-hand shopping and repeating outfits :)
I’m very interested in doing this. I’m wondering if people are including things like lounge wear/ pjs, exercise clothes (not athleisure but for working out), painting clothes, outdoor “gear” type items or other things that aren’t like city outfit supplies. I feel like maybe I should include these for the sake of packing for trips….
Hi!! I think it really depends on what you hope to get out of using the app! For me, I'm using it to retroactively log my outfits each day to be able to see big picture trends in my style, so I've uploaded everything that I would consider to be part of an outfit. I've included my soft/lounge clothes that I often wear for weekends and WFH days, and my hiking clothes. I don't log my outfits for my morning at home workouts, so I didn't add my workout specific items to my Indyx wardrobe. If you're planning to use Indyx for packing then it might be helpful to see all of those items if they're something you plan to bring!
Alberta! Do you also help out your clients with decluttering and making choices? I've been working hard on pairing down my wardrobe but it's been a struggle (we're talking years of trying lol). I've gotten Indyx to help me out with this, among other reasons. So far, it's been great to keep my emotional and irrational self in check! But I still think I need to be more drastic and some external guidance might be helpful. What to do when you have beautiful clothes that tick all the boxes, but just too many options to really enjoy them to their fullest? 😵💫
I can absolutely help with this! I offer 1:1 virtual sessions where we can edit your wardrobe together and identify which pieces to keep, archive, or release. I also offer free 15 minute consultations where we can chat about how I can best support you, book here! www.albertarose.ca

This comment made my day!! I love longer videos too, so nice to just hang out for a little while :)
Oh yes! I did kind of like this by making lots of outfit pics and then making stickers to copy to iPhone notes but this is a waaay better option ❤
