David Yoo thanks for the compliment. We have stopped uploading new content for now, but please share with your colleagues. We put this together as a free resource for all ESL teachers.
your channel has really helped me this year, really appreciate you guys taking the time to record these videos. Really creative ideas and i've been able to adapt pretty much all of your ideas to classes with 40 students or more. Keep it up man.
Loved the smirk when he told her for the first time to sit down and shut up, just the title of this game is already enjoyable, haha. Great activity!! THANK YOU SO MUCH
Thanks for the comment. It’s funny because when we originally published this video, many viewers took it too seriously and filled the comments with their condemnation. We took it down and added it back later. That’s why it’s out of order in our series
Great game . Very well elaborated . I’d say “ sit down please and be quiet “ instead of saying sit down and shut up. Absolutely fantastic game. Keep it up.
@@GuysWithGamesESL Follow up - My class of 10-12 yr olds had so much fun with this activity! I split in boys against girls and they wanted to sit on the floor instead of at their desks. It was super exciting for them to do something new...so thanks again! :)
Dear teacher, what I didn't understand was do we pick a student to ask the question or can anyone answer the question we ask? If so, can the students from the other team answer the question before the picked student?
One of the most underrated channels on UA-cam

enjoy it
How about using "Be quiet." instead of "Shut up"? :)
Yep. That is totally up to you, the teacher.
There’s certainly no malice behind either phrase in this game.
Helen, you’re totally right about the “shut up” being inappropriate. It was really meant as a joke .
@@GuysWithGamesESL No worries >W< We adults can figure out it
you look like gwneth paltrow if she was a guy
What’s in the box?!?
Why "shut up"? Kinda rude.
