The coolest part is when everybody realizes they are on the winning team, we could learn a lot from that
It’s really good there’s a mixture of youths and adults doing this together. It shouldn’t be just for one particular age group, even though it’s technically for youths.
Feel I should say a big Thank You Mark. I've used a number of your methods with Agile software development Scrum teams over the last few years. If Agile isn't an area you currently work with, then you should get involved. We love this sort of stuff!
Michael, somehow I have managed to miss your note. Thanks for commenting, I'm so pleased you are loving our resources. I'm not familiar with Agile software - can you tell me more?
We did it with 28 participants and our record is 7.32 sec after 20 attempts...................ye Incredible India...........Don Bosco leads the way with the youth
Excellent Stacy, I'm sure your kids will love it. Be sure to check out tons more back-to-school activities that are 100% fun and will invite your class to interact, connect and build trust at playmeo.com/activities/
How do I extract more value from an activity that just having fun is always a useful question, so thanks for asking Ryan. Yes, I would absolutely connect my debrief to a skill such as communication, but as a team-based event, I think it is ideally suited to inviting my group to reflect on their continuous improvement.
What about a second round where everybody has to say the name of the person who is sitting to the right of them, and than a round and everybody has to say the name of the person to the left of them. Could be a fun way to learn the names of each other.
Yes, Silvio, I did it some months ago with good success. We started with establishing the alphabetic order of names and called them out in that order. We also tried the same thing by typing them in to the chat room - which proved funnier because of the mistakes people made when typing fast :-)
@@playmeo-group-games Dont know if you knew that now if people have their zoom updated and you being the host in the gallery setting there is something like have everyone have the same gallery view as you.. (not sure if everyone needs to have the update, but you click on that and all of a sudden everyone sees the same screen is you which is great for many activities.. no need to establish the order.. and also you can play many other things.. using that especially body parts.. and creating sculptures..
@@silvioberlfein5194 Ah, no I did not know, but I bet it will require everyone to have updated their software to make that happen, but this is nice to know, thanks for sharing.
This is a quick and easy name game. The group is simply saying their own first names one ata time around the circle as fast as possible. For the step-by-step instructions to make it super-clear, click here > www.playmeo.com/activities/ice-breakers-get-to-know-you-games/name-impulse/
Hi there, I'm not quite clear what your question is, but the whole point of the exercise is to have fun and generate some energy. And, if you happen to pick up some names, that's a bonus. The point of adding the timed dimension is to add a little interest to the exercise.
Thanks for asking - the primary purpose of the game is to generate energy and have fun. But, in many cases, a few names will be learned during the course of the game.
I'm sorry for my tardy reply (got lost in rush) - I'm happy to explain the exercise to you, but you may find clicking the links above a little quicker and easier.

What would be the best way to debrief this? Could it be linked to a particular topic eg. communication skills? I don't know so I'm asking.

Would also be cool if they said the persons name on their right instead of their own
This would be a wonderful variation, thanks for suggesting.
Great - thanks so much.
You're welcome.
Mark - excellent. Just watching got me involved and I can pick on the finer nuances, which could be debriefed
Agreed, and I'm so glads you can look for the nuances...

Hi Supreet, there are subtitles as part of UA-cam's captioning function, ie look for the subtitles option in the bottom toolbar.
What’s the time object ?
