    I usually employ a wheel from a platform I've saved for this! But, I have to say, grreeat one!! The idea of using a dice is sooo practical! It feels soo smart. Definitely something I had never think of and that I will absolutely use. Thanks a lot!

    Hi . Thanks for the games, you and your friends put on youtube. I am trying to creat your games on powerpoint in order to use data porjector in the classroom. I need a dice in a powerpoint format or any format that I can show on the screen and play games. Have you got any suggestions? Thanks.

    Handsome.. Bring back the handsome guy with games

      Haha. I think it could also have been ‘hardcore’ but yes, I was facing reality and thinking ‘handsome.’

    the 'wheel of fortune' is written sO neatly that it's distracting haha, the dice is such a great workaround for the spinning wheel!

      Haha! You’ve stumbled upon something I take great secret pride in... penmanship. I always cringe when I see messy writing on a whiteboard, although it really is a small, silly thing.

      Thank you. Taiwan is opening back up this month. Lots of new teachers inbound, I’m sure.

    I use this one, but have been using a spinner on my phone. I like your method, though, and I put a vowel tab on the wheel instead of letting them choose on a regular shot. I'll get you my adaptations of The Price is Right and Family Feud soon 😉

      Haha. Those are literally my next two videos. Family Feud and Price is Right. Would love to see how you do them though :)

      Well, tbh, I'm still developing those, with trial and error, but I'm keen to see yours, too. Game shows are very easy to adapt, most of the time. It actually makes it fun for the teacher, too, I think. :)

      @@barkslife we’d still like to see what you’ve done. But, yes, we go through the same fine-tuning process. The Monday version is always the ‘beta’ game. Haha

      @barkslife 3 роки тому +1

      Ah, beta testing. When the loophole you didn't see gets exploited, and the words, 'from now on...' quickly exit your mouth.

    Awesome game. Able to adapt well to the classroom. Thank you. Can’t guess the answer,though,to that sentence. Hmm...any more hints or....an answer,please 😂?!

      It was solved already in the comments. “Bring back the handsome guy with games!”
      Just a joke about Dustin being gone from our lineup.

    How many points do you award the team who guesses the sentence? Do you award 1 point for every blank they fill in or do you set a point value for whoever guesses the sentence?

    • @GuysWithGamesESL
      @GuysWithGamesESL  3 роки тому +2

      I awarded 5 points for identifying the sentence in the first round. I played a second round though and made a judgement call to make the full answer worth same/more points depending on the difference in scores from first round.
      For letters, one point per instance. If there were four E’s they got 4 points.

      I’m just flying through Tokyo today. I hope these games work as well in Japan as they do in Taiwan. Have a good class.

    Did the puzzle have a title like in the game?

    • @GuysWithGamesESL
      @GuysWithGamesESL  Рік тому

      You certainly could include that as a hint for your students. I guess, if this example were to have one, it would be something like “Popular Demand”
