Hey Cowboy, I haven't seen you cover the dragonforged skill/vocation improvement system yet. You can choose an ability from your kit to halve the stamina cost. It's an incredible addition to make more skills viable. You can also improve one vocation to increase the points allocated to your attributes when you level up.
Are the upgrades to stats applied retroactively? I’m level like 89 and my vocations have all been maxed since before unlocking the feature so I was never sure it was worth it.
Loving the endgamr warfarer content. Crazy synergy, gave me great ideas just by watching this. Going to try Augural Flare, Deluge Shot, frost blades to see how much damage it nets me. Frozen should hold it in place to stack bonkers damage
My personal wishlist for future content is some sort of unarmed fist vocation and adding more Core skills to the existing vocations, with the option to switch them out at the vocation guild. Kind of like what they did with the switch skills in MHR Sunbreak.
Archer : spiral arrow, Mystic Spearhand : skiedragoun's feste, Warrior : heavenward sunder is my got to as a Warfarer. Archer for flying enemies and kind of DOT with spiral arrow, mobility/dodge and attack speed with MS, and Warrior for big knock up and damages. I love this combo so much I just basically can't play anything else. Only thing I find more funny is the "true Warfarer" mod but it's so op you sadly can't play it if you don't add a difficulty mod. Please Capcom, give us a hard mode and some neverending post game content like we had in DD:DA
I like magick archer for the caves and stuff on Warfarer. Richochet Hunter is just so much fun. That being said. Unmoored world ending before you can explore is not very cash money.
it's not just because of player pawns, i can run around with just myself on my fighter/archer/sorc wayfarer set up and everything just melts in seconds, you just hit a certain point where everything just dies, an endless hard area would be lovely, NG+'s actually getting harder would be lovely, even a difficulty option would be lovely, i want things to last longer than two seconds
I keep my Magick Bow on default for mobs, DuoSpear w/ Dragon Fist & Mirror Shield, ThunderMine to protect my Casters in the back, w/ a Mage Staff so I can Heal w/ Anodyne when my Pawn are not LOL Notably, I definitely always keep a way to Levitate for Exploring/Clearing out the Maps.
Watching the golem fight reminded me of a time I busted off the head of one and it was still trying to pew pew me while it was severed. You can position the golem in front of it or even move the head around in order to cause it to shoot itself lol
Now that ive been playing NG+ i feel like that Wafarer shines even more. If you dont like how easy NG+ might feel then just make your pawn into a purely support mage, dismiss any other pawn and run a build like this and trust me it will be so much more enjoyable.
Yeah I was probably gonna give up on NG+ as it was quite boring when I realized I could kill drakes in like 20-30 seconds. Now I'm using the Custom Tweaks mod on NG+ Hard preset of difficulty, with a few tweaks to specific enemies since Drakes are way too bloated by default. Currently running with Warfarer using Bow and Daggers. For skills I'm using Exploding Shot (Drenching Shot against Drakes), Skull Splitter, and either Mercifull Kill or Gut and Run. With ice enchant on weapons and Drenching Shot, Drakes are quite managable. I stay on Daggers most of the time for DPS, then swap to bow if the Drake is flying or if it's casting Meteoron. If you freeze the drake while it's flying, it will drop to the ground and you have a massive DPS window, and if you freeze it while it's casting Meteoron, it will interrupt the cast, which is quite nice because at this difficulty level Meteoron can mean a full wipe.
These guides are him reloading a save to speed up killing the dragon, also in the unmoored world you only can rest like 12 times so for the purpose of the videos, not much point looting if your not keeping it
I see people in the rift at level 333. I don't know how they got there so fast, but maybe that should be your next goal. Also, I think Capcom should reintroduce the Ur-Dragon raid boss mechanic.
I noticed that it seems like you're only using your bow to inflict the tarred status via the incendiary shot bow skill. If you just want to tar things with your bow, you might as well just equip the tarring arrows and save yourself a weapon skill. Maybe give yourself a skull splitter for those daggers or something. I'm currently playing my warfarer with just a magick bow (sagitate avalanche and blazefang arrow) and a mage staff (high halidom, basic anodyne, and levitation). Yes, I am just being the healer but also a magick archer. It's either the least optimized build or the most underrated build, IDK, but it lets the 3 pawns be non-healers.
